A Limited Edition Murder by Lauren Elliott takes us back to Addie who has escaped her life at home for a year’s respite in England. Her good friend, Tony, lived nearby and she worked for a funny little man named Pressman, who was a book restorer. Also working at the bookshop was a young man called Jasper, who was head-over-heals in love with Hailey, Tony’s fiancee. Pressman was working on a restoration of an early copy of Wuthering Heights as an engagement gift for Hailey. This book led to things getting really convoluted, especially after Addie and her small dog discovered a body on their morning walk. She then got to deal with the British constabulary, a not necessarily a positive experience.
Addie is a terrific character despite what she has been through (earlier books). She is a dedicated bibliophile and sleuth. The sleuthing hadn’t been especially welcome and apparently wasn’t here, either. She had made good friends and they were imbued with all the personality for which one would wish. It was a complicated crime, one deeply rooted in the past, always a challenge. Addie butted heads with the Detective Inspector sent to solve the crime, no surprise there, but her doggedness and compassion helped solve the crime. It was a compelling crime, featuring and old friend. Thanks, Lauren Elliott, for your dedicated loyalty to the cozy mystery genre.
I was invited to read A Limited Edition Murder by Kensington Publishing. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #KensingtonPublishing #LaurenElliott #ALimitedEditionMurder

I’ve heard of people nursing their wounds for a long time but Addie must’ve held the record for it, lol. She did have a traumatic experience in the previous book, and some people heal differently so it’s totally possible. I guess since she’s just never been a favorite main character of mine and always seemed a little immature or sometimes unfair to others, maybe I don’t cut her enough slack or something. But it seemed like a long time and kinda hiding from reality. I’m glad she took Pippi the pup with her—that sweet dog could cheer anyone up.
But Addie was a fiercely loyal friend as it turned out and as we all know from previous books. I liked her new friends but I really missed Paige, Katherine and Serena. One character Addie always compared to Mrs. Danvers actually became a good ally for her sleuthing toward the end. I was never really sure whodunit so I just kept reading and hoped eventually Addie might decide she needed her people at home. You’ll have to read and see if she stays in England or returns to Greyborne Harbor. 😉
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book provided by Kensington Cozies via NetGalley, and my opinions are my own.

If you’re a fan of cozy murder mysteries with a dash of nostalgia, "A Limited Edition Murder" by Lauren Elliott might just pique your interest. The tenth installment in Elliott's series brings us to the quaint village of Moorscrag, a place teeming with colorful characters and, naturally, a fair share of intrigue.
I'll admit, diving into this book without having read the previous ones was a bit like walking into a bustling village fair and trying to figure out who’s who. With a cast of characters larger than a small town census, keeping track of all the villagers was a bit of a challenge. That said, Elliott’s writing is inviting, and her storytelling has that classic "Murder She Wrote" charm, which makes getting lost in Moorscrag’s many subplots feel like part of the fun.
The mystery at the heart of the book is engaging, and Elliott knows how to keep the reader guessing. Addie is likeable and relatable, and her sleuthing feels both cozy and competent. While I didn’t feel an urgent connection to the series due to my late entry, it’s clear that long-time fans would find much to enjoy.
In summary, "A Limited Edition Murder" is a fine read. It's perfect for a lazy afternoon when you want something light yet intellectually engaging. If you're already familiar with Elliott’s series, you'll probably enjoy this latest mystery even more. And if not, well, it might just inspire you to start from the beginning and get to know Addie and her cast of friends and series regulars a bit better.

Wonderful addition to the Beyond The Page Bookstore Mystery series. Addie proves once again, no matter where she is she can still get involved in a murder. But she's in England, and the detective in charge isn't quite as amenable to her help as they are back home in Greyborne Harbor. Addie feels she had choice but to carry on with her investigation as two of her good friends are suspects. She certainly has her work cut for her trying to solve this mystery.
I enjoyed this book so much. Addie and her friends, both in West Yorkshire and Greyborne Harbor, are the heart of this book (and series). Yes, there's an interesting and entertaining mystery with plenty of unexpected and turns, but the characters and their interactions with each other are what really put this series at the top of my "Favorite Cozy Series" list. I'm already looking forward to book 11.
Many thanks to Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.

This is book 10 in the Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery series and it has been and remains one of my favorite cozy mystery series. While they can be read as standalones I don’t recommend it as Addie’s relationships and personal life progresses greatly over the books. Given this I was a little confused as I started this one because it took place a year after Addie left to England and was established with new friends and companions that I was not familiar with. Overall I enjoyed the story quite a bit and did feel some Miss Marple vibes. Of course Addie being Addie stumbles over a murder and it was funny to watch her be seen in a completely different light by the British law enforcement folks. After the engagement party of her good friend and author Tony Addie stumbles upon the body of a guest of the party in the moors (an amazing setting for finding the body I must say). Addie feels interested in the case after finding the body but determined to solve it when Tony’s fiancé is held as the prime suspect. I thought this book was a good bridge from all that happened with Simon and I like that we didn’t need to sit through hundreds of pages of Addie’s sadness over it. I did guess the murderer and didn’t find any of the twists to be super out there twisty, but I thought they were fun. I liked the new characters in this one and the cameos from some beloved favorites. Always sad when I finish these books to know that I have a whole year to go to get to read the next one.

Another engaging addition to the Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery series. Addie has gone to England to recover from all the personal hits she received recently and found friends and a job at a local bookstore. That doesn't mean that her ability to find murder victims was left in the States because behold she finds another one. And her writer friend has been accused of the crime. Addie, with the help of her new friends and some that have shown up from New England, is determined to find out the truth.
I really enjoy the characters; they don't seem flat or just carbon copies of each other. I would definitely like to spend a night at the local pub with them. Moving a character to a new location and separate from the regulars doesn't always work out well, but the author has nailed it. And old favorites make an appearance through phone calls, letters, etc.
The mystery was very satisfying as well. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep me entertained and guessing.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

A Limited Edition Murder is book #10 in the Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery series by Lauren Elliott.
I like having Addie in England. With everything she’s been through, she deserves a some peace. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get it. While she’s trying to contemplate her future, there’s a murder. Addie has to help her friends by investigating. This series continues to be an entertaining series and is still going I strong. I can’t wait for the next book!
Thank you to the author, Kensington Publishing, and NetGalley for the Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This tenth installment in the Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery series takes protagonist Addie “across the pond” to spend some time with one of her oldest friends, away from the disappointment, heartache, and lies exposed in the prior book Dedication to Murder. Of course, murders, both new and old, draw Addie into investigating.
I do love this series and its original New England setting and characters, but this book’s change of scenery is really satisfying. I like all of the new characters introduced here, and the quaint English village makes me wish I was right there with Addie.
Addie remains her ever intrepid, smart, nosey self (all good qualities in an amateur sleuth). Her detective foil is annoying in the best way, and I do hope we see him again. The mysteries within these pages are relatively easy to solve, but the writing, clues, and characters are engaging and interesting.
A Limited Edition Murder is a great cozy mystery, and possibly the best yet of the series. Highly recommended.

Although enjoying her extended stay working at Second Chance Books and Bindery in West Yorkshire, Addie is trying to heal from current revelations about her family but misses her home, her friends, and her own beloved bookstore, Beyond the Page Books and Curios. The engagement party of her dear friend, Tony, at Milton Manor promises to be a joyful distraction. But when Tony presents his fiancé with a special copy of Wuthering Heights as an engagement gift, the lord of the manor insists the book was stolen from his library . . .Things go from bad to worse when Addie takes her Yorkipoo, Pippi, out for a walk on the moors and stumbles across the body of a young woman. When the police suspect Tony of foul play, Addie vows to get to the bottom of what’s going on and delays her return home. But it’s a twisted, treacherous path to the truth and Addie will need to watch her every step . . .
This is the tenth installment in this enjoyable series, and I have read 9 of them! This is the first one to take place away from Addie's bookstore so is different from the rest introducing a new set of characters and bringing in some old ones. I have really liked the series and the author keeps the stories fresh and interesting. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read the latest in one of my favorite cozy series.

I was excited to read book ten in Lauren Elliott's Beyond the Page Bookstore Mysteries, A Limited Edition Murder. Addie has been in Yorkshire for a year, following the upset from the last installment. Though she planned on only a two week visit, Addie kept extending her stay. Her friend, Tony, is getting engaged and the gift he gives his intended is said to be stolen. The mystery is on--and soon becomes more complicated!
I have enjoyed this series from the beginning, though this can be read as a standalone---the series is full of great characters and events. I love Addie's resilience, she looks on the positive and usually finds it.
I recommend this to all cozy readers and to those who enjoy Agatha Christie. I requested and received an ecopy of this book to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I review books I enjoy for friends and followers. Thanks to #NetGalley #KensingtonCozies #LaurenElliott

I love this series! Lauren Elliott's stories just keep getting better & better. Book 10 has "touch your heart" moments, and a walk through the woods that will start your heart pounding. I recommend that you read the series in order, to get the full impact. Book 9 gave such a roller coaster ride of emotions that I wanted to throw the book at the wall. Book 10 will just pull at your heart. Cannot wait for Book 11 to see where Addie's adventures will take us next. Enjoy!!!

This was my 10th adventure with Addie and this time we left Greyborne Harbor for England. It felt like an Agatha Christie mystery and I loved every minute of it! I was also really excited that Addie finally has a new love interest, but I guess I’ll have to wait until the next book to see if anything comes from it.
I received an advanced copy from netgalley in exchange for a review and opinions are my own.

This book came across as a cozy murder mystery, set in England and involving a manor and book store (always a plus!). Although this is book is part of a series, it can very well be read as a standalone, like I did.
I enjoyed the writing style of Elliott, although it was a little too on the nose sometimes. There were passages with explanations about who did what and why, which in my opinion the reader might want to figure out for themselves between the lines. However, I did enjoy reading this book! It was perfect to escape life and get immersed into another. Some characters deserve a little more development to make the story more enriching and let the reader delve deeper into their lives.

Not an unbiased review because I love the friends on both sides of the Atlantic in this series and really enjoy their working together to solve whatever murders come their way. The investigations of both the current murder and the cold case turn up facts that connect and seem to indicate one murderer for both. And yet, it seems as if this series is about to come to an end as the characters move on in spite of themselves. Still a very good read.
I requested and received a free temporary EARC from Kensington Books/Kensington Cozies via NetGalley. Thank you!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Lauren Elliott for providing me with a complimentary digital ARC for A Limited Edition Murder coming out May 21, 2024. The honest opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I really enjoy this author’s writing. I read the first book in this series and this one. I need to go back and read the other books. But I loved this book a lot. The move to England is fun and I loved all the British vibes. There was definitely a lot going on in the story. The conflict near the end was pretty crazy, but I think it was overall really cozy. I think Addie has grown since the first book. I love the rare books and bookstore coziness of the story. I would definitely check out other books by this author.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vacation cozies!

Loved reading this book and series. If you haven't read this series yet. I highly recommend reading this series and author. I suggest reading in order.

This series has always been a favorite of mine, but with this book it just pole vaulted to favorite! Addie is such a compelling character. Life keeps knocking her down and she keeps recovering and moving forward while maintaining her friendships and making new friends, although not always with the local police officers who view her as meddlesome. I love that while Addie has been licking her wounds of her life back home, she has been enjoying life in the English countryside with her friend Tony and all the new friends she made within the community. Not only does she have some tough decisions about her future, whether to return to her home and bookshop or to stay in the English town that she has come back to life in. Just when she has made the decision to return to Greyborne Harbor, she stumbles upon a body and the local police appear to be trying to fit the evidence to a predetermined narrative. It's Addie on the case and her new friends are in to help as well as some surprising assistance! The characters are all so well developed that you feel like you are walking among them and not reading about them. The plot is the star of the show though as this author crafts plots full of twists and turns that lead you to think one thing, but if you pay close attention, you just might see the zag coming that will twist things the other way....or not! I am already chomping at the bit for the next book and I have just barely closed the back cover on this one!!!

This was such a fun and enjoyable read! I really like anything that mixes reading/libraries with mysteries! The whole plot had me hooked from the beginning and I will definitely be looking into reading the rest of the series.

Had me hooked from the beginning! This was my first time reading a cozy murder mystery and I might have discovered my new favourite genre

This is one of my top 3 favorite cozy series and this new release is a exciting fun read with a new location for our protagnist. A Limited Edition Murder is my favorite of the series. This intriquing mystery captured my imagination from cover to cover. I have read the entire series and enjoy the authors writing and fascinating mysteries. Thank you to Net Galley, the publisher and to the author for the opportunity for review. My review opinions are my own.
Our favorite protagnist Addie has been on a extended vacation to Yorkshire England while she heals from events back home that left her shaken about her life. She has moved to a charming cottage on the estate of her good friend Tony and is busy working at a small bookstore and making good friends. Addie has fit right into her new life riding her bike to the village with her sweet Pippa, joing others for game night at the pub and making positive changes at the bookstore. Addie loves her new life and finds the lifestyle more to her liking. As Addie contemplates returning home she is also considering how much she enjoys England and the people that welcome her in the village.
While on a walk with Pippa on a foggy morning she finds a womans body . Never one to stand by Addie joins in the investigation much to the chagrin of the local detective. As she uncovers a mystery behind a missing antique book and the background of a mysterious necklace of the victim the mystery deepens and clues abound. Addie is fascinated to see this to conclusion. Soon the clues and suspects lead Addie in the right direction and her penchant for solving crimes may just finalize this case and lead her to danger.
I loved the setting of a small Yorkshire village that the author writes very atmospheric for the reader. Addie has found her peace here and as a devoted reader of the series I would like to see her stay in Yorshire. I loved the colorful supporting characters that all add to the story and the sleuth that kept me guessing to conclusion. I enjoyed the multi layered mystery featuring a missing necklace, a mysterious missing antique book and the history of Yorkshire. Addie has a talent for developing a investigation and this was one of her most challenging . Well done to the author. I look forward to the next in series.
