Love in Tandem is a clean light romance with likeable characters who go on a 500 mile tandem bicycle ride to raise money. This book has some charming moments, some fun moments and some moments that put a smile on my face.
Charlotte was devastated when she learned the music program at the school where she teaches music was ending. She is determined to raise money to save it. She never thought that ex-fiancé, Ben's brother, Zach would be the one to help her out on the ride. Zach is back in town to be the best man at his brother's wedding to Zach's ex-girlfriend. UGH! Talk about messy. He never thought he would run into his brother's ex-finance, Charlotte, let alone agree to go on a 500-mile tandem bicycle ride to raise money. He could use some money as well.
Romance is all about the journey for me and Charlotte and Zach go on quit the journey in this book. Both believe they know each other one, but along the way, they learn that there is more to each other than they originally thought. I enjoyed their banter, the funny situations they found themselves in, and the way they realized their assumptions about the other was wrong.
I enjoyed the writing, the humor, the characters, and the fun in this book. I had no idea that this book is considered Christian fiction/Christian Romance when I requested it. I can say that this book is not preachy or overly religious. There is one small section where there are mentions of finding faith and losing faith. Otherwise, I would classify this as a light, entertaining, fun romance book.
Romance is a journey and who doesn't love a journey when it involves a bike!
I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narration.
Thank you to RB Media and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.

Love in Tandem is a sweet, Christian romance with a fun premise, an endearing cast of characters, and wholesome vibes. The story felt like a slow start for me, but the ending was satisfying and worth sticking with it. The audiobook narrator did a nice job expressing the characters and emotions, but I pretty much always would prefer two different narrators for a dual POV novel. I thought this book read like Kathleen Fuller, Jill Shalvis, and Debbie Macomber, so if you enjoy those authors, I think this will be right up your alley!

I loved Love in Tandem so much!!! I read the book in one day! Charlotte and Zach’s story was just too cute and exciting with the perfect amount of attraction. Charlotte is a music teacher who needs money to keep her music program afloat. Zach is her ex fiancé’s brother. After some misunderstandings, they pretend to be a couple and embark on a tandem bicycle race to raise money. This book was so entertaining and hilarious! I can’t wait to read more by this author!

This was a really cute forced proximity, dual POV, kissing only Christian romance (light on the God talk), full of family drama, hijinks and great chemistry between the two MCs (two exs of their mutual siblings). Teamed up to compete in a 500 mile tandem bike ride competition for $250,000 that Charlotte hopes will save her school's music program, she and almost brother in law, Zach, have to overcome a number of obstacles in order to make it to the end of the course, finding love along the way. I enjoyed this book a lot, especially on audio. Recommended for fans of authors like Pepper Basham. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
