An absolutely creative and adorable story for littles to help little ones try to understand what happens at death. This cute story follows the little forest animals who don’t understand what happens next. They soon learn that the adventure is not over for them and that fun is still in their future. THe story shows that the loved ones left behind can still be happy and wont forget them. I love the creativity of this story. I love how the author approaches a tough subject and makes it fun and meaningful for children. We are a family who loves ghosts and such and this story was perfect for us. I highly recommend it to all families. You will love this little creative adventure.

A Ghost Story is the perfect children's book for your weird niece, who is probably psychic. Jokes aside, this book is adorable. It approaches death in a comforting way, and I love the unique art style. The illustrations were darling, and I found the art of the 'living' animals especially lovely. I also particularly enjoyed that Death has a quaint cottage and serves pink cake - whenever I go, I want it to go like this. While I picked this book for more vibe/aesthetic purposes, it would be a great book to help explain to a child the passing of a pet or loved one.

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The pictures in this book are cute. The message in unique and one that is sometimes hard to explain to children.
