The sweetest book that shows how different sounds are heard. We have reread this one over and over again in our house. My son loves it! The illustrations are amazing and adds to the topic that is being presented: the sense of hearing. We really loved seeing/reading/doing the comparisons of the sounds between loud and soft.
This adorable picture book teaches the sense of hearing to young readers. The female character walks readers through whispers and shouting. Readers learn about the different noises animals make and noises that different places may make like waves on the beach. The book takes the chance to discuss that some people may not be able certain noises, may not hear at all, or may need hearing aids. Great for a read aloud with students in preschool!
This book is part of the Woke Baby Smart Senses series. In the back it says it’s never too young to start being a scientist and this book really worked towards that. The cover would make one think this is a simple board book, but it’s a very well-done rhyming book about, the sense of hearing. It not only covers big noises and small noises but people who can’t hear how they might communicate, or why certain things like seeing somebody speak may be needed. This is advanced, but it works quite well, and I could see kids wanting to have it read to them again.
This cute book teaches little people about the different ways to hear. Some noises are soft, while others are loud. It also addresses the way people who are hearing impaired communicate.
I have found a wonderful series of books for children to learn and grow. The Smart Senses series is so wonderful and absolutely adorable. They add diversity in their pictures and babies. I am so happy to share this series. In this book we explore the sense of hearing and how we hear the world around us. It even shows how those who are deaf explore the world. The illustrations in this book are simply amazing. They use bright, bold colors along with simple pictures to create eye-catching pictures children will love. The text is simple and easy for all ages to follow and interact. An outstanding board book for every family with little ones needs. This is also perfect in early childhood classrooms. We are happy to add this to our home library and the series is fast becoming an everyday favorite. Your family will love this book.
