As a lover of historical fiction, particularly the time period, I enjoyed reading this book. I've since gone on to to read others by this author and in this series and enjoyed them all just as much.

A wonderful and exciting historical piece that has encouraged me to read more from S..J. Parris.
She creates and embodies a believable world which carries you through the book.
Brilliant stuff

Afraid I couldn’t get going with this book. Was hoping for a Shardlake style book (CJ Sansom), but failed to deliver for me. I didn’t get past the first few chapters so rating based on initial assessment.
