Adored this and the patterns were so easy to follow!! Will be purchasing for friends and gifting some of these adorable little creatures to my nieces and nephews.

The photos in the book do a great job conveying the stitches with contrasting colors. I really appreciated the clear indication of inside/outside or front/back of the pieces, as that's something I feel like I always struggle with. I also want to say that the extra tasks that include stitching, adding eye details, and other information is very concise. The folding animal blankets are so cute and the texturing details are amazing. There is a note about the use of safety eyes, but they are also shown on the finished pieces.

Really cute blankets and loveys. The instructions are clear.
The name is a bit misleading since amigurumi are normally quite small and these projects are (in comparison to other amigurumi) rather big.

Since I was 12 years old, crocheting has been an important part of my life. I remember the Christmas I received my first set of hooks, yarn skeins and a how to book for crocheting and instantly I was obsessed with creating beautiful works. Every project was different and unique and it was amazing to learn that crochet is one of the only fiber crafts that cannot be duplicated by a machine. As I have grown and my skills have improved I have started branching out to Amigurumis. This book is beautifully put together, and the author goes into great detailed at the beginning of the book with very specific instructions so that even a true beginner could complete her designs.
It is very important to note however due to the nature of the patterns it is vital you utilize a tablet or something that allows for color because a lot of the information is color coded and difficult to read on a black and white device. I did love that each pattern and project came with a QR code that would allow the reader to look at a video for specific instructions.

I am thoroughly pleased with this Amigurumi book! It offers fantastic resources for new crocheters, and I particularly enjoyed the colorful and clear photographs that accompany the instructions.
The projects included are not only adorable but also practical. I can easily see myself crafting many of the charming blankets and loveys featured in this collection.
While the book provides instructions for creating embroidered eyes, I wish it did not present safety eyes as an option at all. Considering that this book is filled with Amigurumi patterns designed for small children, safety eyes can pose a choking hazard as they might pop off. For this reason, I believe omitting them entirely would have been a more thoughtful choice.
That being said, this one concern does not overshadow the joy I feel when looking through these patterns. I’m excited to start creating and look forward to making many of these delightful designs!
Thank you to Netgalley and Fox Chapel Publishing for the advance reader copy of this book.

I am an avid crocheter and I think this book is fantastic. Everything is in this book that a first time crocheter could easily be able to start these projects. I like how every step is explained and that you could always look back if you do not understand anything within the pattern. All the basics are there. Nice photos for each step of the patterns and the finished parts. I like that the parts show the extra yarn for sewing too because a lot of times I know from my own experiences that you easily forget to keep enough to sew the parts together. Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the advance ecopy.

Love this book of patterns. These patterns are so whimsical and cute. I want to make all of them but unfortunately have no youngsters to craft for at the moment. The pictures are lovely and I appreciate how they are used to show the different ways that the blankets can be folded and used. This is a wonderful book.

Easy to follow patterns. The formatting is really cute and engaging. The patterns are for all skill levels and I like how it tells you what skill level or difficulty is every pattern. I love that it has an introduction to amigurumi section, which tells you about the yarns, eyes, and other items you'd need for amigurumi. It also has QR codes that links to videos to help you on some patterns.

Loveys and Blankets is a well designed and photographed book with interesting crochet designs. The how to crochet step by step is well done and will give you a good start on crochet. I am not sure these designs are good for brand new beginners but once you practice the stitches they are very charming designs for baby gifts. Any parent would love to recieve one of these for their nursery. So cute!!!

I love this book! The patterns are fun and well written. They are easy to follow and enjoyable.. As a mom I will certainly be coming back to this book for all sorts of gifts. I plan to get a hard copy to have on hand!

Do I have kids in my life? No. Do I want to make almost all of these designs for myself because they're so cute? Absolutely! The blankets and loveys in this book are not only adorable, they're unique enough that you could make multiple without getting bored. The beginning of the book has lots of detailed instructions, so even relative beginners could follow along confidently. Ariana did a wonderful job making the same concept (a blanket with legs and a head) different enough each time to keep it interesting.

If you are a crocheter this is a very well written book for amigrumi loveys and blankets. Well designed and super cute final products.

These loveys are so cute. I made one to test the pattern and it will be the best baby shower gift. The pattern was easy to follow and all the instructions were clear.

Thank you #NetGalley for an ARC of this book. I'm obsessed!!
Amigurumi Loveys & Blankets is such a fun project book filled with adorable and inspiring ideas. Each pattern was a different animal and a different stitch with various degrees of skill levels. I love that you can mix and match the different loveys and blanket stitches with the different animal patterns. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who loves to crochet amigurumi looking to gift handmade baby gifts!

This book contained well written crochet patterns which is important. The variety included offers something for everyone. The matching blankets and loves are great for baby gifts or craft markets. I absolutely love it.

Amigurumi’s are such a great idea to make as baby gifts and this book is exactly what you need to get started. If you have a baby shower coming up and you want to bring something with a personal touch, you need this book.

This book is a knitters saving grace! It's very informative and easy to understand. It includes conversion charts and step by step/how to images; which are amazing.
There are so many beautiful blanket patterns. My favorite is the dragon, which I'm gonna try first.
In the past, I've done butterflies and simple knitting. But this book gives me the confidence I need to go ahead and try something new.
Thanks so much for creating such a complete guide.
I recommend it to everyone who loves knitting or are trying to improve and learn more like me.

So I did a read ahead so I could give my honest opinions before crocheting or that would be a while! However. This book is written so clearly with detailed patterns. I appreciate how the first few pages go over basic stitches and have accompanying pictures. The patterns are well written and from what I gather are easy to follow. The only thing I would have done different is add more detailed pictures of the steps throughout the book. I feel like there are more for explaining the stitches than the pattern itself. But the items are so cute! Cannot wait to make

This book had great instructions on how to crochet many different kinds of loveys and blankets for many different animals. I found it easy to read and to follow the patterns.

Cute patterns and nice despcriptions. It was easy to follow the pattern I tried (the giraffe). Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the free eARC in exchange for my honest opinions.
