The instructions were clear and well written. I really appreciated that in the first section, there were multiple pictures for each stitch as you are brought through them step-by-step. The actual patterns themselves were super cute and creative with a variety of loveys to make outside the classic hexagon with a teddy bear head. Included throughout were QR codes that link to youtube tutorials for people who have an easier time following along a video or need extra support. This is a great book for someone who already has crochet skills, or someone who is just starting their journey.

This was such a lovely craft book. The blankets are adorable and very different. My favorite is the Giraffe and the ingenious way to fold it to make it hang on the crib as a beautiful decoration.

There are 7 blankets with 7 corresponding lovelies. All of them are probably intermediate beginner to intermediate skill level. One is very detailed but so beautiful.

There are full color diagrams and pictures to help you along the way. This book is a keeper..

I was immediately drawn in by the frog prince lovey on the cover of this book! I think loveys and blankets are a great baby shower gift. In this book, there is a very comprehensive section of general crochet information. It includes how to read a pattern, how to make many different stitches, and what materials are needed to start a project. I absolutely loved how detailed that section was. If only I had this book when I first started crocheting. At the beginning of every pattern, there were also QR codes that led to helpful videos for the specific pattern. I loved that addition because sometimes reading the words isn’t enough. My favorite projects in the book are the Ice Dragon and Prince Frog sets. I can’t wait to make something for the next baby shower I go to! I recommend this book to beginner and seasoned crocheters who love adorable projects.

I really liked how many pictures this book included, especially at the beginning, to show the steps.

I want to try to make some of the squares the blankets had. They can be a fun variation of granny squares.

EVERYTHING is this book is adorable!! The author gave explicit directions and the pictures are very helpful. I like that she also gave different options for finishing the projects. I am an intermediate crocheter and the patterns are easy to read and follow for a beginner through advanced.

This is a fabulous book, not only are the blankets great fun to make (the children will love them) but the instructions are the best - easy to follow and with photos - making this a really great book.

Easy to follow instructions. Will be posting my final project from this book within this next week, doing the Spotty the Giraffe Lovey.
One thing I absolutely loved was on this specific instructions was Round 13 specifying the exact spaces for the eye settings.
Most patterns I follow do not include this step. Can't wait to finish this pattern to show and promote this book.

Utterly adorable patterns that are very well-written and friendly for crafters of any skill level! The inclusion of a crib blanket and a woobie for each animal is quite sweet.

Great pattern book for beginners. Lots of helpful tips and instructions at the start and QR codes linking to videos to help you out. Some of the colour choices make the items look a tad outdated but for the most part the creations are cute. I really like that there is a blanket and a softie option for each pattern. Easy to follow instructions with photos to show placement and trickier details.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to step up from plain baby blankets.

I am so glad I was browsing the Read Now category on NetGalley and found this! I got into crochet a while ago but this book is super beginner-friendly! I haven't made anything yet but I was looking at these cute blankets and it is super detailed in the step-by-step and there are photo guides to explain stitches. You'd never even have to have picked up a hook before opening this book! I'm keeping this copy for future reference!

I absolutely LOVE this crochet pattern book!!! It’s so exciting to see these animals in both loveys and blanket forms. Beautiful pictures and excellent pattern instructions. I plan on making the fox, horse, and dragon blankets and loveys to start with. Fantastic pattern book!!

Quick someone have a baby I have fun patterns to crochet. The patterns are easy to follow and I do love the fact that you have both a blanket and a lovey to crochet. I am excited to try some of these.
