The thing that has stuck with me most was the part about the Camino de Santiago!

I’m so glad that this season in my life now has a name. “The Everything Era” is that time where you are making all these big decisions like who you want to spend your life with, where do you want to live, and more. It can be an incredible lonely season filled with impostor syndrome and comparison, but this book helped me view it differently. I loved how Stephanie compares it to a collage instead of a puzzle. After reading this book I feel more at ease about my life knowing that it’s mine to create and change as many times as I want/need to.

This book has been an absolute FAVORITE! It is one that I want to keep sharing as Steph covers so much of our Everything Era. That time in life when it feels like every life decision is coming at us at once.

This book is so freeing with messages that can actually help to point you in a direction that is right for YOU!!

This book is so helpful for figuring out how to go about living an authentically-you life during this weird and ever-changing season. Stephanie doesn’t claim you should live a certain way—in fact she helps you realize you can live exactly how you want to, without feeling obligated to live the life someone else wants you to live—and she lays out some steps to help you live a life that is perfect for you.

I cannot say enough about the endless resources that Stephanie May Wilson has provided to young women, and this book is just the warm, big-sister hug that every young woman needs. Stephanie writes from kindness, experience and understanding of the struggles of navigating life as a young woman. Her anecdotes and advice is relatable and motivating. This book doesn’t feel like reading, it feels like chatting with a girlfriend at the best Girls Night. I love this book and truly hope it sits on every young woman’s shelf.

Stephanie May Wilson has created an easy, flowing read on such relatable content, as I am a woman in my late twenties going through exactly what she talks about in her book. From cover to cover, it feels like she is an older sister talking specifically to me and into my situations using her own experiences. I loved how she outlined the steps to find your own wants and desires and filter through the endless voices we hear on a daily basis so then you will be able to only listen to the ones you want. If you are on the fence about reading it, just do it. I hope it gives you perspective and peace like it did for me and helps you start to actually create a life you love to live.

Life is a puzzle, right? There is a right and a wrong way to put the pieces together and a finished product at the end. But life is actually more like a collage that we get to create. We have thousands of colorful photographs at our fingertips, each representing fragments of the life that can be ours. Pictures that inspire us to achieve our goals, fulfill the potential of our personality, and make our own dreams come true!

We get to decide–which pictures we choose to take up residence, how much space we give each one, how those pictures fit together, which are permanent and which are seasonal–all the while curating a masterpiece of life that’s all our own.

Creating a life you love can feel like a paint and sip party where we’re given a cocktail of God, time, luck, your person (wherever they are), and a paintbrush; we just have to wait until they all miraculously come together.

But unless we identify unexamined expectations, we can’t crawl out from under them. They become a giant tangle of yarn–a cacophonous mess with a haphazard menagerie of colors and textures tethered together. The only way to sort through them is to tackle the knot on the table in front of us and pull at the threads until we figure out the source.

Stephanie May Wilson acts as a kind of P.E. coach in guiding readers in determining which decisions would make you Proud (P) and which decisions would make you Excited (E). Emphasizing the Everything Era isn’t easy but it is extraordinary, Stephanie has made it her mission to help other women create lives they love too. When you create a life you love, you’re showing students, sisters, nieces, daughters, goddaughters, and granddaughters who a woman can be and what a woman can do and open up a world of possibilities in a kaleidoscope of myriad hues. Stephanie May Wilson’s Create a Life You Love deserves a constellation!

"Create a Life You Love," is the book I've been looking for! It's like having coffee with a best friend, or an older sister, where we just get raw and real about how we want our lives to look. It feels like dreaming again, but with actual, tangible steps about how to create a life you love! This book speaks from the experiences of Stephanie May Wilson, but I walk away from reading it more empowered to create my own goals, unique to me and my life and dreams, hand in hand with God. This is not a blatantly Christian book, but as a Christian, it has encouraged me greatly, that dreaming with the Lord is not selfish but can become a beautiful thing. In fact, some of the dreams that can resurface while reading this book just may make the world a better place (for example, potential doctors might be ready to go back to school again, or mamas may feel the freedom to be stay at home moms, or travelers may decide to move to Chile and build houses, cafes, gardens, ect.) The sky is the limit. Check out this book, for real!

I have been following Stephanie for years so I was so excited when I heard that she was writing a book! This book exceeded my expectations. Being a woman in your 20s and 30s can be rough. There are so many big decisions that need to be made and it can feel overwhelming. This book was like a breath of fresh air. Stephanie makes you feel seen and less alone. She invites you to create a life that you LOVE and that fits you and your circumstances. It was so encouraging to hear “You get to decide.” I highly recommend that every woman reads this regardless of her age because there is so much wisdom and encouragement within these pages. You will leave feeling inspired and equipped with tools that will help you to truly create a life that you love!
