i guess i’ll just stand here and wait for the next book in this series because what that actually heck was that ending?!?!

Picking up from the events of Red Flags, we follow our leads, in separate POVs this time, as they overcome, rally and recover. Super quick read with some important revelations, but something fell a little short for me - forgiveness came a little too quickly. Personally would have loved a little more emotion/angst during the reunion. But I digress. Overall, it progresses the story and gets us in an optimistic direction….until…..cliffy.

Book #2 in the Smoke and Mirrors series by veteran romance author, Skye Warren, White Lies picks up where Red Flags left off. We get a little more of Logan's backstory and the reason he was so quick to dismiss Sienna. But can he have both the circus and the love of his life? I honestly thought it was going to end happily, making this a duology and then, of course, more drama ensues on the last page. So look for #3!

Another cliffhanger!! This book was so good that it leaves you wanting more. My only critique would be that I prefer duet or dual narration instead of one narrator, otherwise it was a great listen! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I like the narrator, and have read Sky Warren books before, but unfortunately found the storyline hard to follow and found that it jumped around a bit. One minute in one place then home to be in another place without any explanation of what occurred in between.
