Being granted access to this audiobook in exchange for an honest review was the highlight of 2024 so far. Since it is early, I will do my best to not include too many details or spoilers. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an opportunity to listen to this audiobook. I am happy to provide an honest review of the book/audiobook!

Oh how I have longed to hear more from the world of Gage Buchanan and it was absolutely worth waiting for. Gage is a seen as a rich, highly educated man who is a younger version of his father. Everyone knows that he doesn't feel a need to settle down and will be highly successful following the path his father has cleared for him - but what happens when he realizes that isn't enough to make himself happy and that it is okay to follow your own path? Unfortunately for him, he soon as to test these thoughts and quickly decide what he wants in life. After all, he is moving out of the country soon and needs to decide if he is going to accept a wedding proposal or not!

Rory, Rory, Rory - we all knew that you would have some secrets and drama to bring to the table, but I doubt any of us expected you to be able to catch our hearts and win our approval the way you have in this story. What was supposed to be a one night stand definitely leads to more as you sneak around town, pretending to be things you are not. But you know what, I forgive you. After all, searching for information about who you are can make any woman act out of character. This dog lover, wild spirit, who believes in following your dreams is instantly someone you start rooting for.

This story has some blurred lines, as a particular trope that is often unliked by many is hinted at, but it is such a small part to the puzzle that I highly suggest still giving this story a chance if you are a fan of Mia Sheridan's work. This part of the story did make me concerned that the story was going to go in a completely different direction, but I am relieved that I was wrong.

I listened to the audiobook and must give 5 stars to the narrators. They brought depth to this story that many readers will not bring to the story themselves. You could tell that they became the characters and felt the emotions the characters felt. They fed into the banter between Rory and Gage very well.

Overall, I highly recommend this book. Make sure you check out Archer's Voice and Travis as well. You will see a lot of character overlap between these three books.

This is my first read from Mia Sherida 's work and omg this book was wholesome!!

Right from the starting, the sassy leads interacting and teasing eachother to the middle where they chase eachother to the end where they part away...only to find whether they really loved eachother or not..

First of all the writing 🤌🤌 like I am not even kidding you, recently I was totally bored by the cliche romcoms but this one 💫💅🤩 had such an unique plotline like the comedy part where they literally had to question their relationship to eachother psssstttt it wasn't the romantic one 🤭🤭🤭. *spoiler spoiler* takes the book to another level 💯

Personally I had an amazing time listening to the audiobook ARC ❤️ i sacrificed my one night's sleep but it paid off so well..!! The book didn't disappoint me at all..!!

I’ve never been disappointed by Mia Sheridan! Again she provides an easy to read book with lovable characters. You immediately want love to win but know there will be some bumps along the way. There was an equal amount of sass and spice in this romance of the boy who grew up with it all and the girl in search of answers of who she is. I love her ability to create a storyline that although predictable in so many ways, is also intriguing enough to keep you wanting more. I so enjoyed the snarkiness between the characters as the storyline builds and their interest in each other progresses. If you haven’t read Mia Sheridan before this would be a great starter and right along the lines of Lucy Score and Christina Lauren.

I would like to sincerely thank Mia Sheridan, Dreamscape Media, NetGalley and the great narrators for the advanced copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review. .

The beginning of this romance started out strong. When Gage first lays eyes on Rory, the attraction is palpable. But their love is doomed. They’re from different sides of the tracks, he insults her right off the bat, he’s moving out of the country…
Then they started to build an emotional bond in the kitchen and I was all in. I expected that they would separate and struggle to come back together but I could not have expected the reasons that would keep them apart.
Even though the main characters were able to quickly get past the possibility that they **censored for spoilers**, I couldn’t. They continued building attraction toward one another and I cringed. Every flirt felt like forbidden love but taken too far. With the romance not of interest, the rest of the plot tracking down her father was a little slow for me.
When they finally come together, it was too late for me to become invested in their relationship.
The main characters are complicated and interesting. They have chemistry and steamy sex. If only the bulk of the book didn’t make me so uncomfortable it would’ve been a great read.
This was a good book just not for me.

This is a solid small-town romance that blends family, found family, friends, and neighbors into the love story. Gage and Rory have an insta-love attraction and for a hot minute there was a major glitch in their potential to have a relationship. Rory is trying to find her father based on very little info and this feels like the primary storyline to me. It's an enjoyable read and the audiobook made it a very pleasant way to escape a rainy day.

Falling for Gage by Mia Sheridan follows Rory, a waitress working at her family's bar in a small town. When Gage walks through the door she is not impressed by his charms. Roroy always has a smart remark for Gage. They endup having a one night stand thinking that they will never see each other again. Gage is leaving for London to open up a hotel for his fathers buisness. Rory can't leave the bar and her uncles that raised her since she was 11. Rory then decides to look for her father after finding new clues that her mother has left behind. That brings Rory standing in Gage's parents house and they then have another encounter. This book was both very funny and steamy. This would be for fans of Katee Robert, Penelope Barsetti, Emily McIntire. Thank you to NetGalley, Bloom Books, and Dreamscape Media for letting me have an advanced copy of the book/audiobook.

Falling for Gage by Mia Sheridan is a small town romance in Calliope, Maine. It is part of the Hale universe (Archer's Tale) and can be read as a stand-alone or with the other books.
Gage Buchanan and his friends experience some car trouble on a boys' trip a few towns over. They stumble into a hole in the wall bar looking for help, and Gage is instantly drawn to the waitress, Rory. The two share an instant connection but come from different worlds and go their separate ways after one hot-and-heavy night together.
The two cross paths again when Rory visits Calliope, posing as an art appraiser, in order to find out who her biological father is.
Together, they explore leads and investigate the influential families of Calliope searching for clues to Rory's heritage.
Gage and Rory begin to fall for each other, but Gage is so torn as he is due to leave for Europe soon to oversee a new hotel for his family's business. Unfortunately, the folks of Calliope aren't as welcoming as Gage. Facing pressure from his family and Calliope's nosey elite, Gage is forced to choose between the future he's worked so hard for and the Girl he's falling for.

Big thanks to #NetGalley, #DreamscapeMedia and author Mia Sheridan for early access to the audiobook version of Falling for Gage in exchange for an honest review. I'm hooked on this series now. Narrators Maeve York and Benjamin Sands did a wonderful job!

Not sure what I expected from this one, but I had high hopes and I’m sorry to say this one fell a little short for me. I loved that our main characters were a little older than you typically get into romance novels, but some of the actions seemed to contradict their ages. Rory often spoke like she was a lot older, while also acting like a teenager. Gage was just too proper to me, when the spice hit, it just felt awkward, like it didn’t fit with who he was. Their story was cute and I really liked how they each wanted the other to find themselves and not get in the way of that. It all just seemed a little too surface for me. When they went separate ways, I didn’t feel sad for either of them like I typically do. The connection between Rory and Gage just wasn’t as tangible as I wanted it to be and as they moved through different phases, my feelings towards them didn’t reflect that.

This one just didn’t hit for me like I wanted it to. I know there will be a lot of people that love this one. Mia Sheridan has a huge following so I know there will be a slew of good feedback, I’m just not the audience for this one.

Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

I've been avoiding Mia Sheridan books because reviews gave me the impression that the books were very emotional like crying on the floor. Falling for gage wasn’t high on the emotional scale it did have feel good moments with and hopefulness.

I loved being back in the world where Archer Hale is, sigh.
Gage is perfect. He does everythign that is asked of him. He never steps out of line. He is following in his father's footsteps but knows that in his forever, something is missing. He meets Rory when his friends and he go on a roadtrip that literally goes off the road. He has one amazing night with her that changes him forever, but he is moving to England in two months.
Rory is looking for her birth father, she finds a new clue that sends her to the town Gage lives and sends his carefully laid plans into a tornado. The passion he feels for her wars with the duty he has to his family. As she searches for her father, secrets come out and mysteries are solved.
I honestly thought this was going to go a different way and I am really happy to report that it didn't! They both made me a little angry at times, but Gage and his family duty and arranged marriage situation set me off the most. I don't understand how not going for what you want is ever an option. The fire that these two had from the start was something that needs to be caught with both hands and never let go of. I loved seeing old faces pop up and fun family situations.
The narrators did a great job bringing this book to life.
Thank you to Mia Sheridan, Netgalley and Dreamscape for an early audio copy.

Mini Review of FALLING FOR GAGE by Mia Sheridan

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Spice Rating : 🌶️ 🌶️
Tropes : Adult Romance, Small Town

The line that really sold me on this book: “You make me want to live a different life.”
This book is so heartfelt and all about finding yourself and as a 20-something that couldn't be more relatable.

And the audiobook was amazing!! I need more books to have audiobook ARCs because it is my favorite reading form. I could get through so many more ARCs if they were audiobooks. So big props to the publisher!!

Thank you to the publisher for the early reading opportunity.

My heart!! Omg Gage got a book and it was pure perfection. I kept updating my friends with renditions of, “I love this book,” “this book is so good,” “I’m obsessed with this book.”

I said it a lot because I didn’t read the synopsis and it’s been a while since I’ve been to this town and it was just as perfect as I remember.

💙 Small Town
💙 ONS
💙 Rich Guy/Not Rich Girl
💙 Looking for Answers
💙 Soulmates

I don’t use the “soulmates” tag often. But these two? They scream soulmates. Of hearts that yearn and are incomplete without one another.

I felt so many feelings. My chest ached. I teared up multiple times. This book has my heart in its clutches.

I didn’t want to turn off this audio for one second. The narrators and story kept me on the hook and nothing else mattered.

Thank you Mia, for writing this incredible book and giving Gage the story he deserved.

The book resonated with me on various levels. It skillfully blended elements of romance, intrigue, humor, and a touch of enigma, all while encapsulating the charm of small-town life. A delightful extension of the Pellion Lake Series, it reintroduced familiar characters in cameo appearances, evoking a sense of nostalgia, particularly for those who hold a sentimental attachment to 'Archer's Voice.' Witnessing these characters in their evolved,

The characters were impeccably crafted, with Rory standing out as a particularly compelling figure for me. Her composed demeanor and clear-headedness were truly admirable. While the plot occasionally leaned towards conventionality, it managed to sustain engagement by steering clear of predictability. Noteworthy was the unexpected plot twist towards the conclusion, which caught me off guard in the Best Way!
The narration of the audiobook was spot on. The voices matched the character's personality and provided an excellent listening experience. The pace at which the story was read was perfect. I did not feel the need to speed it up or slow it down. Well done performance,

I will definitely be recommending this book to my Friends!

I have loved both Archer and Travis' stories so when I saw Gage was getting his own, I was thrilled! I loved Rory and Gage together. The tension oozed off them especially when their potential relationship was hitting forbidden territory. I do think the love story was drawn out a bit too long though, as all it took at the end was Gage to talk to this family for them to change their tune. This miscommunication could have been resolved earlier rather than the couple having to endure all that they did to gain approval. But I guess then we wouldn't have a book!

The audiobook narration was on point with this one and I am glad I was able to listen to it.

The way I couldn’t wait to get back to this world of Pelion and these characters when I saw the release that the mysterious but seemingly perfect Gage Buchanan was getting his own story. After getting small glimpses isnhis life in the previous two interconnect stories in this getting Gags story is everything I could have wanted. We have Gage who has focused on working his way to make his father proud and take over the company someday who strives to be perfect and all the expectations that are on his shoulders. And Rory a bad waitress is a small town who’s always felt this pull for more. And when these two collide you get to see sides of each other that only they could bring out in each other. Rory brings out the real Gage. The messy man, the dreamer, the chef, the one who wants fun and passion more than regime and family pride. I love the way these two balance each other out. Some of the funniest moments between these two is watching Gage perfect facade slowly unravel around Rory. And Rory’s quest to find who she’s been missing is some of my favorite parts. It’s a small mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat until it’s revealed. I love the way Mia was able to shock me, provoke emotions in me that I could only hope to have felt towards Gage and Rory. It’s a beautiful romance with laugh out loud shenanigans, found family, new and old friendships, and about family and adventure.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for yet another amazing audio arc. I am in love with Mia Sheridan’s writing and this is my third book of hers I’ve read. I loved Archer’s Voice and Travis was one of my favorites last year.

It’s so nice to finally see Gage get his HEA. Gage and Rory trying to find out the truth of her origin was super intriguing to me because at the same time as a reader you are trying to discover the truth as well. Their chemistry was undeniable and the way they compliment each other is beautiful. Loved their nicknames Ivy League and Cakes.

I genuinely loved seeing all the cameos of Archer, Bree, Travis, and Haven. This series and universe is one of my favorites and I really hope there’s another book to continue the series in the future.

I was so heart broken when Rory found out the truth. I called it from the start I really was hoping this person was her father. I loved the epilogue and how everyone came together. I literally laughed and I cried to this book. Mia Sheridan just knows how to write books that get to your feelings and your heart. I was so sad when it ended. I just didn’t want it to end. I am so going to reread the entire series soon and can’t wait to have a physical copy of Falling for Gage in my hands!

Tropes:
• One Night Stand
• Fake Identity
• Third Book in the Pelion Lake (Archer’s Voice) Universe

I don't know how I missed that we were getting a third book in the Pelion Lake series, but I am so glad we did. Archer's Voice is one of my favorite books of all time and Travis was also a really solid romance. Falling for Gage is right up there with those two. First, Gage and Rory were such lovable characters, I couldn't get enough of them. Then you throw in all the appearances of my favorite characters from the previous books 😍 Rory goes on a hunt to find who her father is, and Gage helps her with her search. It's an insta-love romance but they end up with the possibility of being related, so that puts a damper on things 😂 The audiobook was very easy to listen to and I couldn't stop. I think this had all the charm of Archer's Voice, all of the spice, and a small-town mystery. It was just a really fun book to listen to. The banter and tension were top tier. It didn't surpass Archer's Voice for me, but it was definitely another amazing romance by Mia Sheridan.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC in exchange for my honest review.

***SPOILERS***

I have loved everything else I’ve read by Mia Sheridan but I can’t get past the ick of the characters still having lusty thoughts about each other BEFORE they have the DNA test back to prove they aren’t siblings after they’ve already had a one night stand. I’m sure many will love it because it’s Mia Sheridan but I personally couldn’t get past the ick.

I found myself craving a romance that could transport me into a world of dreams, where love defied all odds and mystery lingered in every shadow. The anticipation of unraveling secrets added a thrilling sense of adventure to the story.

In the midst of this enchantment, a touch of humor brought warmth and levity, making every moment feel like a delightful surprise waiting to be uncovered.

And of course, no epic romance would be complete without its fair share of drama. But rather than leaving me feeling despondent, each twist and turn only heightened my excitement, keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout.

As I listened, I couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't just another ordinary tale—it was something truly extraordinary. And indeed, it surpassed all my expectations, leaving me utterly captivated and thoroughly enchanted by the experience.

If you’ve read “Archer’s Voice” and “Travis”, the first two Pelion Lake novels, you’ll want to get your hands on “Falling for Gage”, the next installment in this saga. Mia Sheridan is an absolute master when it comes to writing characters who are achingly broken and searching for healing.

Gage Buchanan is a wealthy young professional following the path his father has laid out for him. Aurora ‘Rory’ Casteel is a waitress working in the family pub. Her mom died young and never revealed the identity of Rory’s dad. The sparks are instantaneous when Gage stumbles in to Rory’s pub. They ignite again when Rory finds herself in Gage’s hometown as she searches for her dad.

Ms. Sheridan again mixes highly emotional romance with small town mystery and plenty of spice. I enjoyed my return trip to Pelion and Calliope and loved reconnecting with old friends. This book is exactly what you expect from Mia Sheridan in the very best way. The narration by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands proves that proper casting can enhance an already terrific plot.
