Falling For Gage is my first Mia Sheridan novel and I enjoyed it. This Contemporary small town romance is Gage and Rory's story and it's sweet, steamy and emotional with a bit of mystery included.
The chemistry, longing and tension between Gage and Rory was evident from the start and theirs was an interesting love story. They were both from different worlds, each with their own issues but they did fit together perfectly.
I will admit, there were times in the story they both annoyed me as I felt some level of communication would have made things so much easier thereby avoiding the deception.
The writing was witty and engaging and had me fully engrossed especially when we got the unexpected twists. I enjoyed the mystery set up and search and loved the cast of secondary characters who provided support where needed.
This was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to romance lovers.
I listened to this as an audiobook, narrated by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands. They did a wonderful job and had me fully engaged in the story. They brought Gage and Rory to life and their voices complimented each other. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.
Thank you #Dreamscapemedia and #NetGalley for the ALC.

After reading Archer’s Voice and Travis, I have been so excited to read Falling for Gage by Mia Sheridan. This is the story of Gage Buchanan and Aurora “Rory” Casteel along with cameos from several other characters from Sheridan’s previous books. While I love Sheridan’s characters and writing, I found this to be a really slow burn love story. Thank you to NetGalley and to Dreamscape Media for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When seemingly perfect, wealthy Ivy League graduate Gage enters her family's bar, server Rory doesn't give him the time of day--she doesn't want to be anyone's bit of "fun" on their way to something lasting. But as he wears her down with charming looks, playing along with antics, and teaching her how to cook, the two share a one-night-stand, presuming to never see each other again. But when Rory decides to set out for Calliope, a town three hours away, to find her unknow father while masquerading as an art appraiser, she doesn't expect to run into Gage. He see right through her ruse and suspect her as a con artist, but when she explains the truth, chaos ensues as their sizzling attraction is hampered by a fear they could be related.
I listened to this book on audio, and both the male and female narrators did an excellent job--always great to hear a dual POV book come to life with multiple narrators! As for the story, I enjoyed it! It was an interesting plot with lots of layers, as both Gage and Rory had very well-developed personalities, backstories, and growth trajectories. Some of the antics were a bit slapstick for my taste, and would have been better in a romantic comedy film than a book, and certainly took me out of the story. Gage and Rory's careers also wrapped up a bit too cleanly in the end. It seems like there were a number of characters who may have been introduced in prior books by this author, so I'll have to hunt them down to get the full picture! (But this is definitely a stand-alone.)
Thanks to Dreamscape Media for my ALC (and Bloom Books for my paperback copy)! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
4 stars - 8/10

Mia Sheridan does it again. The beginning of her stories are always attention grabbing and entertaining. This one was no exception.
Aurora & Gage’s story had my attention the entire way through. This love was deeper than finding your forever person. Aurora had been looking for answers about her father’s identity for a long time. When she finally finds a good lead it takes her to a town with the one person she never thought she would see again.
Gage’s reaction to seeing her again was funny at the start but as the story progressed, he learned the truth about her appearance and made it his mission to help her. I had the greatest time reading this book and would definitely recommend it. It was funny, heartfelt and inspiring.

💙 My thoughts on Falling for Gage 💙
In short, I loved it! I listened to the audiobook last week and just flew through it. Benjamin Sands and Maeve York narrate and they both did a great job bringing Gage and Rory to life and capturing their chemistry.
If you’re familiar with Sheridan’s books, you’ll remember Gage from Archer’s Voice and Travis. While this book would technically work as a standalone, I think it’s a more special read if you have the background from the other books.
I loved that Gage and Rory have what they both think will just be a one-night stand but then they are unexpectedly reunited when Rory turns up in Gage’s hometown. I don’t want to give anything away but Rory is there under false pretenses and Gage is the only one who knows. I of course loved the chemistry between Gage and Rory and watching that relationship develop, but I especially enjoyed the mystery sub-plot that has brought Rory to town. She’s on a mission to find her father and that mission will take her to some very unexpected places.
As always, Mia Sheridan’s writing is gorgeous and her character development is top notch. If you’re in the mood for a heartfelt story that has both a swoony small town romance and an engaging mystery subplot, be sure to check out Falling for Gage.

Mia’s books are always phenomenal but this was amazing. I loved getting to read Gage’s story. All the little cameos made my heart soar. To top it off the narrators did amazing. I recommend this book so much!! I loved every second of it

This was an ok book for me. I was super excited to learn more about Gage but the story just fell flat for me. I could not connect with Gage and Rory. They just did not give me the "feels". There were instances though in the book that were cute funny moments though. I enjoyed the push and pull with Gage and Rory with how she would yank his chain so to speak. It was hard reading about a successful man that didn't find joy in what he did, just to be a pleaser to his father. If the book wasn't centered so much on that maybe I could have liked him a little more. Now, on the other hand I did enjoy Rory and her love of dogs. She was a great person just seeking answers and I'm glad she found those and her additional family. It was an enjoyable read but it just didn't tick all my boxes.

I wanted to love this one, I really really did. It was only okay for me though. To be honest, it felt a little anticlimactic. The secret of her father just ended with a big ole flop. I get why she chose that guy and how it ties the stories together but it just didn’t turn out to be nearly as exciting as what I was anticipating. Then add on the romance ending and it all felt like it worked up really well to a very mild ending.

This book was cute and while I mostly enjoyed the audiobook, I just don’t think the story truly captivated me. I don’t want to compare every book I read to Archer’s Voice, but since it’s my favorite book ever, set in the same world and by the same author, I struggled to separate them and found myself just not as engaged with this couple as I was with Archer and Bree or even Travis and Haven. The concept was really fun, but I just didn’t feel the delivery kept me hooked. Also, the male narrator’s voice felt somewhat monotone or flat at times, and I just wasn’t able to get much feeling from him.

It’s near impossible to compete with Archer, but wow was this enjoyable. I swear I laughed more here than any book in recent history. Gage and Rory were so sweet. Rory was the real hero here- she constantly questioned and pushed for Gage to find his own dreams and happiness for himself instead of following others expectations.
Now the mystery angle- I called it from the beginning right down to the initials. Pretty sure I yelled at Gage’s dad multiple times and Blakley received all my eye rolls from this week.
Next up, a Romeo story??

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 Stars
Happy publication day to Mia Sheridan and thank you to Mia, Macmillan Audio, and NetGalley ( @netgalley ) for allowing me to listen to an ALC (Advanced Listener 🎧 Copy) in exchange for an honest review.
The narrators🎙️for this audiobook 🎧 are Maeve York and Benjamin Sands.
“How in the hell did I of all people end up in this mess. I never rocked boats or conducted myself in a manner that anyone could describe as improper. And, now here I was lusting after a woman that might be my sister.”
The perfect Gage Buchanan hasn’t had a one night stand in years until last night. But, no big deal. He won’t see her again. However, there is one slight problem…he can’t stop thinking about her. Err, okay two slight problems…she just walked into his mother’s house. O-M-G…what does he do? Does he pretend like he doesn’t know her? Should he make an effort to get to know her better? If he gets to know her better, could there be a third (not so slight) problem? Yes, yes there could. Rory suspects that she and Gage may have the same father! What is the likelihood that such a twisted one night stand will turn into a happily ever after? You need to read the book to find out. Seriously! Falling for Gage is one of the best romance books I’ve read in a while and it is also one of my favorite reads this year!

My ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a solid 4 stars but I’ve preferred some of the earlier stories in this series.

Sharing an unpopular perspective of this book as I have not read NYT Best Seller Archers Voice. Alas, I really enjoyed this book without knowing the other characters. A great light mystery that kept you thinking! This makes me want more which i’m glad I have a few other books in the Pelion Lake world to explore!

This is the third installment of a series, but even if it can be read as a standalone, I think it should be read after Archer's Voice and Travis because the characters from those books are entwined with this story. I liked the story, I liked both POVs how the characters and the story are built, and how everything was developing. Can't wait to read Mia Sheridan's future books.
Maeve York and Benjamin Sands did a perfect job of narrating the story and I thoroughly enjoyed listening.
Thank you to NetGalley, Mia Sheridan, and Dreamscape Media for sending me the audiobook to review.

*Read as a standalone and it was fine, but it's probably more enjoyable if read as part of the series.*
This was my first book by this author and I couldn't help but feel slightly underwhelmed. Having read so many glowing reviews of "Archer's Voice," I had high expectations for this book, expecting an emotional read. However, I found it to be just an average romance novel. Nonetheless, I recognize that many readers have given it high ratings, so maybe it just didn't resonate with me personally, but I look forward to exploring more books by this author in the future.
***Thank you to NetGalley, Mia Sheridan, and Dreamscape Media for graciously sending me the audiobook to review. As always, all thoughts are my own.***

This was my first Mia Sheridan book and I absolutely loved it. I know that I may have gotten some spoilers for books I have yet to read but I think it actually motivated me to bump them up my TBR. This story kept me so invested in the characters. I really felt like I understood Gage because of the constant pressure to make everyone else happy. I enjoyed the writing, the narrators and just overall the progression of the story. Very well done.

Falling For Gage is part of the Archer’s Voice world and everything I could have wanted! Gage ends up meeting Rory at her family’s bar when he has car trouble. They end up having a one night stand and never expected to see each other again. Gage is surprised to see Rory in his home town when she goes there looking for her birth father.
I loved Rory and Gage so much! Even though they got on my nerves a little I still wouldn’t change anything about them! They had such a connection from their first meeting that lasted throughout the whole book.
I listened to the audiobook while annotating the paperback and Maeve York and Benjamin Sands really brought these characters to life for me. They both did an amazing job and I couldn’t see this story playing out in my head as I listened.

Where to begin, where to begin
Because truly I'm absolutely in love with this book
And I now wished I had read the book and not listen to an audiobook version of it because you could only read a book once but also immensely grateful that I was able to get my hands on this book early
I have always been a romance reader and I will continue to be a romance reader
I am also be extremely proud of this fact
But do you know what I love more than romance? I love when the book is a mix of romance and mystery
And I'm talking about an actual mystery that we get to follow around and see throughout the book, become a main part of the storyline and not just there to fill the pages
This book is exactly that!
It's the perfect mix of romance and mystery with a sprinkling of angst
I love how this book also just jump into the story with how Gage and Rory met
I love how in the beginning we already see both personalities come to play and they're consistent as characters especially in their traits
I also love how absolutely hilarious this book is with how Rory manages to evade Gage and Gage just basically becomes a certified stalker
And how people start thinking he's an alcoholic? It's just perfect!
Did I mention this is my first Mia Sheridan book?
My close friend has recommended Archer's Voice numerous times but I haven't gotten around to it
Now I wish I had read other books by this author
I am definitely gonna reread this book in about a year and definitely in a book form
I was planning to give it a 4.5 stars but decided to change it to 5 stars
Absolutely in love!
Thank you to Netgalley, Mia Sheridan and Dreamscape Media for providing me with this audiobook in exchange for an honest review

I am a big fan of this series with archers voice and Travis!! And I was so happy to be back in that little world! I liked gages character and was happy to see him get his own story! I also loved rory and thought she was a great Addition I loved the way she was searching for something else in life. I also thought the chemistry her and gage had was really good, he was a rich Ivy League boy and she is a girl from a small town working as a waitress at her uncles bar. They run into each other after gage and his friends get storm stuck in her town, they have a passionate night and think that will be the end. gage has a lot of responsibilities and Rory has dated men like him before and it never ended well. And they think they won’t see each other again, but when rory starts searching for her father she finds her self in gages home town. I thought their meet cutes and how she tired to avoid him was so funny!!! I liked how the story line progressed and i loved the little hunt they went on. But to say that there is one part of this story line that was not it, and honestly went on a little longer than necessary and really could of done with out it honestly. But the ending of this one is so good!!!! And it ties together so good with the other two books in the series and I loved that so much!!! I loved seeing all out favourite characters again especially Bree and Archer!!! Rory was also A huge dog lover and I loved how that was all tied into the book, I listened to the audiobook for this and the narrators did such a good job. They really made the story come to life!!

The audiobook of Falling for Gage was fantastically produced with expert narration by Benjamin Sands and Maeve York. They did such a phenomenal job bringing Gage and Rory to life and they kept me dying to find out what would happen next!
I really enjoyed Rory’s character arc as she got closer to finding out where she came from and it was so satisfying to see Gage find his true calling as well. There were plenty of cameos from characters from the previous two books that were extra fun.
If you’re looking for a healthy dose of spice, a mystery of paternity, and some adorable raccoons, this will definitely be a hit for you!
