Loved this! Adored being back in Pelion, itโ€™s so nostalgic to me after loving archers voice and Travis ! A solid romance read !

Really enjoyed this as an audiobook, the voice actors were both great.
This is a one night stand turned to more story. Aurora is searching for her dad and Gage thinks she's trying to scam everyone. There are some quite funny moments in this and I did cry at one point too.
The reason that this isn't five stars is because there's a period where they are worried about the possibility of being siblings which I really think didn't need to be included.

RATING:
3.5 stars rounded up to 4!
Spice level: 2
This was my first read by this author.

It was a super cute read! Only reason for this rating was personal preference with the rich/poor trope. I feel that it was a bit exaggerated and his family was awful. He definitely should have stood up for himself a lot sooner and not let his family talk so horribly about Rory the whole time like she wasn't good enough for him. He didn't fight hard enough for her up until the very end. He was definitely a "people pleaser" until he realized what he really wanted.

Audiobook Performance overall 4 stars.
Narration: Maeve York & Benjamin Sands

Rory and Gage are likable characters as soon as you meet them.

"I can breathe when I'm with you."

Their chemistry is undeniable. However, there are a few things in the path of their HEA!
Gage's family has set high expectations for his love life and his future. They aren't fond of Rory in the slightest and basically have "arranged marriage" plans for him with a wealthy/successful woman they approved of. Will Gage get past how his family feels and choose the love he truly wants?

There is a bit of mystery mixed into this love story! Rory is on a mission to find out who her father is. Gage is, of course, right by her side helping her along the way. There are several possibilities of who Rory's father could be, and one happens to be Gage's father. Their chemistry/lustful thoughts never really falter after knowing this. Even though it reads as a glee-filled rom com the majority of the story, this aspect of the plot definitely pushed those limits towards a forbidden/tab00 type of love story!

There are cameos from other characters written by Mia Sheridan. I have not read their stories yet, but I definitely plan to this year!

The ending was wrapped up nice and sweet! Overall, it was a cute and cozy small town romance read for me. I loved the nostalgia feelings throughout her journey of finding her father and I really enjoyed the beautiful epilogue as well to this love story.

First book that I have listened to by Mia Sheridan. Thanks to Net Galley for the audiobook ARC!

I devoured this audiobook! The narration was amazing and truly let me feel like I was a part of the story. Maeve York and Benjamin Sands were phenomenal.

It was so nice going back to Pelion Lake and seeing Archer, Bree, Travis & Haven.

This story starts off with a bang with a one night stand between a small town barmaid and a rich boy on a golf trip with his friends. I loved how drawn to each other Rory and Gage were, right from the start. Their spicy chemistry was off the charts!

They werenโ€™t supposed to meet each other again but fate decided to have their paths cross in the wildest way.

I have been wanting Gageโ€™s happy ending ever since he was first briefly mentioned at the end of Archerโ€™s Voice! I loved Gage as a the main male lead. He seems so perfect and put together to everyone who knows him, and secretly he is so exhausted at trying to be that way. I loved his vulnerability and the battle he fought within to break free of everyoneโ€™s expectations. This book had me cracking up at some of Gageโ€™s antics trying to catch Rory!

Rory was a great addition to the female leads of Pelion Lake! Sheโ€™s quirky and quick witted and trying so hard to find her place in the world. Her backstory is sad, and her quest to find her father was filled with both happy and bittersweet moments.

I highly recommend reading both ๐˜ผ๐™ง๐™˜๐™๐™š๐™งโ€™๐™จ ๐™‘๐™ค๐™ž๐™˜๐™š & ๐™๐™ง๐™–๐™ซ๐™ž๐™จ before reading this book. It will help you understand all of the side characters and their backstories.

Synopsis
Rory and Gage have a one night stand, only to find out they may be related. Rory is on a mission to find her father and to discover if Gage is her relative.

- One night stand
- Small town
- Opposites attract

My Opinion
This book was cute, but I expected more from this author. I received the ALC from NetGalley, feeling like the male actor did not sound like the age I imaged Gage to be. Aside from this issue, I enjoyed the audio experience.

Rating
3.5 stars; I liked it and will recommend to others.
2.5 spicy pepper emojis; One open door scene, but very mild sexual acts.

Thank you
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to Falling for Gage in exchange for my honest review.

Rory and Gage meet after Gageโ€™s car breaks down and he and his friends end up in the bar Rory works at. They spend the night together but go their separate ways the next morning, thinking this was a one-time thing and that they wouldnโ€™t see each other again.
But Roryโ€™s search for her father takes her to Gageโ€™s hometown, and they are thrown together again to figure out who her father is.

I listened to the audiobook for this, and I do really love audiobooks. But Iโ€™m so bad at finishing them, they always take forever, no matter if theyโ€™re good or bad. And this one was really good!

Gage had it bad for Rory from the very start, which isnโ€™t necessarily my favourite especially if the heroine is also immediately into the guy. But I was okay with it here because it was more like insta-lust than insta-love. Rory and Gage had great chemistry, the sex scenes were fine, and I really enjoyed their dynamic for most of the story. The mystery about her father was entertaining but drawn out a bit too long.

Overall, I really liked this story and would have given it 4 stars, if it wasnโ€™t for the whole sibling thing, that was just so weird to me. I wish this would have been left out entirely, or at least dealt with more quickly.

Gage meets a cocktail waitress in a town a few hours away from home and he is instantly drawn to her. He knows nothing will come from their one night standโ€ฆthat is until she shows up in his town and says she is an art appraiser. Aurora, or Rory, is on a mission to find her dad and she knows that he is from Calliope which is where Gage happens to be from. Her friend owns a gallery there and agrees to help her get into the homes of people who may have some local art that Rory believes her father painted.

This story was different from your typical love story and I was able to follow along without having read the other books in the series. This book definitely has some spice and I really enjoyed the search for Roryโ€™s father. Gage was not on board when he thought she was just being deceitful but once he learned her motive, he wanted to help. Overall, it was a good romance and the narrators were great.

Thanks Dreamscape for the ALC!

GASP! This story came out of left field for me and turned everything topsy-turvy for me in a flash AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE of my listening experience!!!

The way that Mia *full-circled* the past/present and Archer/Travis and all the questions you didn't even know you wanted answers to was a thing of beauty!

If you saw my story-tyme post on IG you might remember that I was all excited for this book even tho it was not a *true* Pelion novel but an adjacent one at least buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut #spoilerALERT, I WAS MISTAKEN and my heart is still going pitter-patter over it all!

GAH, Mia Sheridan is just perfection kids! #truth

I enjoyed this title! I'm always sold on good dialogue and this title really had it. I loved Rory and the Uncles and Mud Gulch. It was a great read and I look forward to exploring more from this series.

I have not read this authors other books, but I have heard about them, enough to make me want to read this one. I really did enjoy the audiobook of Falling for Gage by Mia Sheridan, it really does have everything you could want in a romance book. Narrator was ace, perfect for the story.

.Small town

.Rich vs poor
.Family expectations
.Good banter
.One night stand

When I saw this author's name, I couldn't click on this book fast enough. But, aside from knowing her other books, I went in completely blind, skipping the blurb and any reviews. Imagine my delight when I discovered its connection to "Archer's Voice," one of my all-time favourites. It was a delightful surprise, to say the least.

This story is fun, filled to the brim with banter and intense chemistry between the characters. I'm not usually a fan of the rich vs. poor trope, so it did distract me a bit. The portrayal of the wealthy as self-centred and obsessed with preserving their legacy is something I find a bit exaggerated. I don't know if it's a US thing, or what, but it always feels extremely fake. However, I am fully aware that this is a personal issue, and setting this aside, I had a great time with this book.

The plot is engaging, weaving in a mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. And, of course, the romance is steamy, just as you'd expect from this author.

I listened to the audiobook, and I must say, both narrators did an impeccable job. They kept me hooked from start to finish.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this book. It's a delightful read that will keep you entertained from beginning to end.

Set back in the world of Pelion Lake, Falling for Gage follows Rory on her quest to find her father and her growing attraction towards the boy she had a one night stand with and thought sheโ€™d never see again.

The opening scenes/ meet-cute in this grasped my attention right away. The banter was great, the pacing was fast and the side mystery component kept me engaged. However, there was one major ick that prevented this from getting a higher rater: the fact that Gage/ Rory were possible siblings. Take that part out and everything else was chefโ€™s kiss!

Huge thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the gifted audiobook of Falling for Gage, I adored Gage and Rory so so so much, Mia Sheridan writes characters I canโ€™t help but fall in love with and I was so happy to see some of my favorite characters cameo in this book a bit.

Overall, this story was good. The ending was wrapped up in the most beautiful little bow. It made me grin from ear to ear. There was one contributing factor as to why this book could not be a 5 stars because it gave me the ick for a quite a bit.

** PLEASE STOP READING HERE IF YOU
DO NOT WANT SPOILERS**

The entire storyline of where there is a brief time where Rory and Gage are potentially related and that they still wanna jump each others bones. Iโ€™m sorryโ€ฆ. But when Rory straight up thinks โ€œah we did it once already whatโ€™s the harm in a second round?โ€ I honestly thought I was going to hurl, I knew they werenโ€™t because that would be a really freaking weird turn of events. I knew that was meant as humor but NOPE.

However, even despite that scenario I still really loved this book.

3.5 stars

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this advanced audiobook copy. The narration was amazing. Maeve York and Benjamin Sands truly brought both this story and these characters to life while evoking the desired emotions.

I loved the entire premise of this story with the exception of two factors, which honestly, are two of the issues contributing to most of the conflict within the story. So I understand and appreciate why they were used, however they weren't my favourite plot devices.

*spoilers ahead about those two plot devices*

I have read one other book where there was concern post-hook-up that the two main characters may be biologically related, except they're so drawn and attracted to each other that they can barely restrain themselves from jumping one another's bones even though they know there is a chance they are related. Obviously we know this isn't the type of book where they would end up actually being related, so as a reader I know they're not related while reading along, however - this still isn't my favourite plot device to develop tension and create some physical space between the characters after they have already hooked-up.

The other plot device I didn't love was the fact that he had agreed to considering a marriage of convenience with another woman and continued to keep that option open even when he was clearly falling for the MMC.

That said, I really loved the mystery surrounding who the FMC's father was. I had a theory on who he was and was way off base. I love a book that can surprise me. I also adored the cameo's from Archer, Brea, Travis and Haven and how they were tied into the story.

I adored Archer's Voice and a little Archer appearance in this one made my day.

Rory and Gage. From their initial encounter the sparks flew. Were there obstacles? Oh yes, galore! But that was engaging and entertaining, and I was rooting for them.

The narration was well done and really brought this story to life. The banter was enjoyable and, despite it taking forever for Tate to share his feelings, I loved their story.

Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks to NetGalley for the arc!
I fell in love with Mia Sheridanโ€™s writing after reading Archerโ€™s Voice. I loved this book! While it is pretty much a stand alone, it was so fun to have the little snippets of the couples from her other books in this! This book was fast paced, had some twists in it, and I was sucked in the whole time dying to know what happened. Loved this!!

Mia Sheridan does it again! ๐Ÿ‘ Her way of crafting a beautiful romance story with such well developed characters and unique plot lines is a breath of fresh literary air!

I think Falling for Gage is my favorite of all the Pelion Lake stories. Rory has so much sass, wit & personality that it radiates off the page. Her journey to find her father and where she comes from was emotional and heartfelt. It feels like we watched her grow and transform into her true self throughout this story. ๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ

I loved how all our favorite Pelion characters from Archers Voice and Travis made appearances in this book too - even the B&B crew from Travis & Havenโ€™s story! Oh, what I wouldnโ€™t give to visit this quaint little town so full of heart and genuine people. โค๏ธ

๐ŸŽง Audiobook review:
I thoroughly enjoyed Gageโ€™s narration and felt it was well-paced, easy to understand and fitting to the character.

Roryโ€™s narration was a different story. While I liked the sound of her voice and how it fit the character, her flow was off as she read. Enunciation was often slow and sounded robotic - sometimes it seemed like she was holding her breath while reading. These are all fixable with practice though, and I hope she continues to grow in her narration skills because she really does have a nice voice.

This was my first Mia Sheridan audiobook. Sheโ€™s one of my favorite authors, but I typically read her books rather than listen. It was a nice change of pace, and Iโ€™d probably do it again, but I do feel I enjoy reading her books better overall. Just a personal preference. ๐Ÿ˜Š

4.25 โญ๏ธ rounded down - I highly recommend all of the Pelion Lake books! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Two people from two completely different worlds coming together to not only fall in love but also help each other grow and heal was just so beautiful! ๐Ÿฅน

Their dynamic was just too cute, with their back and forth banter and fighting their feelings for each other. I was a goner for Gage from the moment he called dibs! I meanโ€ฆ ยซย she was his apple sauceย ยป ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

This was such a fun entertaining audio. From the very first chapter I knew I was going to love this story. Rory Casteel is a go getter, I love that about her, no airs and graces and she calls a spade a spade. Gage Buchanan though, he disappointed me a little, and I know thatโ€™s how the story is written, but I hate when an MC is weighed down with the family name and has to marry a certain class of person. I always think it makes them very weak willed to go along with their parentโ€™s wishes and not follow their heart. It frustrates me and doesnโ€™t endear the character to me. That niggle aside, I did eventually love Gage, he was so funny (without actually trying to be), from the moment he was running around with a towel wrapped around his waist in his parentโ€™s house, the fun started. I also loved the mystery surrounding Roryโ€™s dad and his artwork. Then thereโ€™s the wonderful chemistry between Rory and Gage, hot, hot, hot. When I started reading this story I didnโ€™t realise it was based in โ€˜Archerโ€™s Voiceโ€™ Land with many of the same characters. I now need to read Travisโ€™s story (I missed out on that and now I totally need it). I listened to the audio version and Maeve York and Benjamin Sands utterly nailed it. I loved this story so much. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Loved being able to be back in the world of Pelion Lake for this book. This book had a perfect mix of romance, humor and mystery. I really connected with Rory and her hunt to find answers about her parents or their love story. The chemistry was undeniable from the beginning when stage and story meet. The audio narration is done by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands. Their voices complemented each other and they both did a great job bringing Rory and Gage to life. This is the third book following different characters in Pelion Lake universe. Each is a stand alone but I highly recommend Archerโ€™s voice to give you a bit of insight to the characters and that story is just timeless and fantastic! Mia Sheridan is such a beautiful writer in telling heartfelt romance stories. Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the digital review copy of this novel.
