Gage and Rory have a one night stand, thinking they'll never see each other again. Gage has always lived by the rules, but when Rory shows up in his hometown as an art appraiser. Gage is trying to figure out her angle. Rory is there looking for her long last father, and the only clues she has are her late mother's journal and a drawing.
This is my first book by Mia Sheridan, and boy, oh boy, definitely will not be my last. Falling for Gage is a standalone, but you might get a better read if you read Archer's Voice and Travis's book before this one. Since they are mentioned in this book. This book is a very heartfelt, warm, cozy read. A great palette cleaner. It did have some slow pace part, but overall, it was a good read.
The narrators Maeve York and Benjamin Sands did a great job bringing these characters to life!

Falling for Gage was an absolutely AMAZING story. I loved the characters, the storyline and the ending. This has to be my favorite audiobook thus far this year. I laughed from beginning to end when it came to Gage and Aurora's antics. The chemistry and anticipation between the two them were sweet and undeniable, and it got hotter as the story progressed. I loved the side characters, especially Aurora's uncles and I enjoyed Gage's family and friends, but it definitely took a while for me like his parents. His parent's actions at the end of the story made me forgive them for the way they acted because it showed they learned from their mistakes even though they thought what they were doing was best. This romance story is one I can listen to over and over and again. I'm definitely looking forward to more books from this author and will be recommending this one to all of my romance book loving friends.

3.5 stars!

-small town romance
-found family
-mystery aspect

thank you dreamscape media for the ALC copy! i had the best time listening to this one. i thought the production was phenomenal and the narrators did such a good job. i felt like they were both really able to express the emotions the characters were feeling!

i really enjoyed the start of this book with how gage and rory meet and feel that instant connection. i also enjoyed the mystery aspect of rory trying to figure out who her father was.

getting to see gage and rory together was a lot of fun. gage is the epitome of “no dad it’s your dream not mine” but watching him discover that and getting to see his passion for cooking and how he felt watching others eat his food was worth it in the end. rory is so full of light and has such a kind heart. it’s clear to see with how much she cares for dogs and her friends.

the one thing i didn’t like in this book was the whole are we or aren’t we siblings plot that lasted a few chapters. it wasn’t my favorite to read about and i feel like the story could’ve done without it and would’ve kept all the major plot points but in the end when we do discover who rory’s real dad is, it is 1000% worth the wait and made me tear up.

the found family vibes in this one was perfect

I want to start off by thanking NetGalley and Mia Sheridan for my advance readers copy, and for requesting my honest opinion.

Firstly, I need to mention that I did not reread Archers voice before diving into this one and I feel like that was a mistake. Definitely read the first two books about Archers and Travis before starting this new book. It will give you back story to Gage which I feel like you need. In this book Gage is in the process of trying to figure out where he needs to be a this point in his life. Then there is Rory who is trying to track down her father after stumbling upon a clue which brings these two people together in a fun romance. There were many fun things about this romance, I especially enjoyed them having that one night because when Rory comes back into Gage’s life it made for some fun interactions between the two of them. I really did love Rory’s uncles and would love books about them in the future.

Unfortunately, I did not love this one as much as I adored Archers Voice. The plot of Rory collecting art piece from the rich just seemed unrealistic. I usually like my contemporaries to be something that I could see happening in real life scenarios and this was too far of a reach. Also the fact Rory and Gage could have been siblings just kept pulling me out of the story. Other elements that just did not work for me was when Gage was considering marrying his life long friend that he viewed as a sibling. This is why Falling for Gage landed at a 2.5 stars. However, with all that said I love Mia Sheridan and will be reading more of her books because she really has an excellent way of telling stories and I am here for it.

Gage and Aurora didn't anticipate running into each other after their one-night stand, but it happened. Despite their undeniable chemistry and effortless conversations, they come from vastly different backgrounds.

Gage has responsibilities to his family that cannot be ignored, while Rory knows she deserves more than he can offer her. I appreciated that this story went beyond just the romance between Gage and Rory; Rory's search for her father was a significant part of the plot. I was fully engrossed in this book and couldn't stop listening until it was finished.

Thank you, NetGalley Dreamscape Media, for the free audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

Rory has always been searching for something in her life. After and amazing one night stand with a man who happened to walk into her family bar, she finally decides to head to Calliope in search of her father. Only she had very little information about him and when she gets there she realizes that her hot one night stand...is one of the town's rich citizens, Gage Buchanan.

Mia Sheridan can bring me to Pelion Lake and Calliope any time she wants! You get to see all of the your favorite characters from Archer's Voice and Travis in this one. I really adored Rory though. Her journey to find a place in the world was an emotional one. She's not only looking for her father but reconnecting with her mother who passed away. She's also spunky and witty which I love. Now....Gage Buchanan...ugh this man is defiantly a new book boyfriend. He is sweet and funny. Literally everything. Loved them both so much.

This is my first time listening to one of Sheridan's books and I loved it. The narration was perfect!

All in all, a great addition to the Pelion Lake series!

Thank you to the author and publisher for the gifted copy!

Did I devour this audiobook in less than 24 hours? YOU BET I DID!

I am still pinching myself with the fact that I got this ARC in the first place, Mia is one of my Auto-Buy authors, and I feel over the moon with this.

If you know me, then you know I am beyond obsessed with Archer's Voice ( I have read it more than five times) and when I knew this book would be about Gage Buchanan, I was counting the days until it was published.

I honestly didn't think I'd land this ARC, but I'm thrilled I did. I'm really enjoying how the book kicks off with a super steamy one night stand, and I was totally caught off guard by what came next—I even gasped out loud! It's fascinating to see how the story delves into family dynamics, where love can sometimes feel like an obligation.

The chemistry between Gage and Rory was so palpable, and watching them gradually open up to each other and fall in love was both steamy and romantic. I couldn't put it down and finished it in less than 24 hours—I was just so intrigued and wanted more. Returning to Pelion and catching up with the Hale brothers was also a highlight, and the ending couldn't have been better.

First off, I just have to say thank you to Dreamscape Media for the audio arc. This narration was executed beautifully, the narrators really brought this story and its characters to life.

This book. OMG. This book. I don't know why I expected anything less than to be sobbing when reading a Mia Sheridan book. I am obsessed with Rory and Gage. It was so easy to immerse myself into their world and feel like I was firsthand watching their story unfold. I didn’t realize how much I missed being in Pelion since Archers Voice.

This story had a little bit of everything I love in a good romance novel; humour, yearning, angst, cute nicknames, defining the odds, a small town and an unexplainable pull towards someone.

I found myself laughing so much while falling in love with both of them individually, then as a couple. The way Gage is completely nuts and obsessed with Rory had me kicking my feet in the air. He is a sweet, simple man posing to be this perfect son who never fails in order to make his dad happy and carry in the family name/legacy UNTIL he meets Rory, a one night stand he cannot stop thinking about until she shows up in his town in search for clues of a dad she never met and joins her In her quest unable to stay away. In addition to the heartwarming and funny moments of these two falling for each other, there are several spicy scenes that did NOT disappoint!

The ending destroyed me and the epilogue had me in tears.

Lasty, Archer/Bree’s and Travis/Havens appearances was such a great delight. It was so beautiful seeing them with their cute little families 🥹

Fast paced, small town romance that showed how different Gage and Rory were in some ways, but similar in others. Rorys quest to find her father had me excited to see where the clues led her. Gage couldn’t stay away from Rory, even though she wasn’t part of his plan. I loved seeing the Hales and what they were up to. Their story was all the heart wrenching, found family goodness.

I am insanely sad that I didn’t like this book.

I feel it’s only necessary, to honestly say that I did not read this synopsis. So, if the you could be my brother, I could be your sister thing was in there maybe I would’ve been more ready for it.

But it grossed me out! I absolutely don’t think that I could have sexual relations with someone, think oh my God they might be my brother, and then do it again! Yes, the test proof they weren’t. But I still couldn’t get over it!

I’m not turned off by this author, because she’s one of my favorites. Archer‘s voice is one of my favorite books of all time. The aerators did a great job, and overall I enjoyed them. But unfortunately, the story just wasn’t for me!

I’m giving it 2.5 stars, because I like this author, it was written, OK, and the narrators did a good job. But the storyline and plot was a big no for me.

first off i just have to say thank you to dreamscape media for the audio arc. this narration was utter perfection. the narrators really brought this story to life. i was instantly sucked into this story from the very first chapter. this was one of those stories that truly played out like an early 2000’s romcom in my head. the writing was so witty, engaging, and atmospheric. falling for gage is definitely one of those “one of a kind” romances that lefts me entertained and constantly wanting to know what was gonna happen next. completely bingeable!

rory + gage were instantly likeable and their chemistry was so electric from the very beginning. there were so many moments that i was actually laughing out loud. each scene felt so real to me (when gage was trying to track rory down. iykyk 😂). so giddy + cheeky. i had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard but also for being so emo for these two. they made me feel all the range of emotions.

if you like your romances with a hint of mystery with a lot of emotion, joy, and nostalgic all in one, i can’t recommend you check this baby out. i just love that these two found each other at such pivotal moments in each others lives. they both were inspiring one another while trying to overcome some life hiccups.

the only thing i wish was different is that i wish fate voiced his feelings a tad bit sooner but over all the pacing was really well done. this book provided the perfect small town, hints of mystery, one night stand, forbidden romance form of escapism that gave me the 5 star feels. mia sheridan is always a hit for me. the archer + bree cameo was everything to me. so happy to see them still thriving.

“i can breathe when im with you” 🥹🤧😫🫠

I loved this third trip to Pelion Lake! Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced copy of this audiobook because it was absolutely delightful!

At first this story wasn’t hooking me the way Archer’s Voice and Travis did (I think I just wasn’t really sure where the plot was going at first) but it didn’t take long for it to sink its claws in me! I loved that there was an underlying silliness with the plot but the emotional meat and potatoes of the story were absolute perfection. I loved Gage and Rory and all of the new and old characters we got to know.

I do hope Mia writes more books in Pelion Lake because I honestly need more!

Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for my early listener's copy in exchange for my honest review.

Falling for Gage is the third book in the Pelion Lake series. Here we get a deeper look into the elusive Gage Buchanan. After a one night stand in a town a few hours away, he is shocked to find Rory in his hometown posing as an art appraiser. After hearing her story and realizing she is searching for her father, he agrees to help her out. Amongst the humor and the shenanigans, Gage will finally be able to ask himself the questions he has never been allowed.

I think this may be my favorite of the series so far. There was a lot of humor sprinkled in this one which was refreshing. Some of the storylines were hilarious. We also get to run into Archer and Travis Hale and I loved reconnecting with those characters. This one didn't feel quite as sexual as the last two books in the series and I was happy for that.

The little town of Mud Gulch was a nice addition I am hoping if this series continues we will see more and more of those characters as well. I suppose this could be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the previous two books first.

The audiobook was wonderfully narrated by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands who brought all the characters to life.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a great job. The story wasn’t as enticing as I was hoping but it was a good quick read. If you loved this authors other books, you will love this story as well!

Adorable romance books it was giving me very strong hallmark movie vibes. I have not read this authors other book but I do notice the Easter eggs in the books I’m sure fans of the first book are going to love this

This was such a cute read by Mia Sheridan! She has been hit or miss for me lately and I’m so happy I found another winner!

I was really craving a good & sweet rom com and this delivered! Gage & Rory’s relationship started out as almost insta love which I don’t normally love, but the build up that the characters had to their love story once they spent more time together made me forget the beginning. Gage’s character annoyed me a decent amount at times and a lot of problems could’ve been solved a lot quicker with better communication.

I LOVED seeing further into Bree & Archer’s (Archer’s Voice) and Haven & Travis (Travis) lives. Aside from Falling for Gage, those 2 have been my other real winners by Sheridan!

I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the narrators and feel they truly added a lot to the story. Narrators are make it or break it sometimes, and these 2 were definitely not a let down!

Thank you Netgalley & Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to read this ARC!

Read this book after it comes out later this month, friends!!!

It was so wonderful to be back in the world of Archer’s Voice! Archer and Bree’s story will always be my favorite, but I’m so happy that we’ve been able to get stories for Travis and now Gage. Falling For Gage can be read as a standalone, but it would be most enjoyed if Archer’s Voice and Travis were read first.

Overall the story was entertaining and the mix of romance and mystery was enjoyable. The set up for Rory being in Calliope was pretty flimsy, but her game of cat and mouse with Gage was fun. I figured out the mystery pretty early on though (as I think most Archer fans will), which made the book feel overly long as we waited for the official reveal. What took me most out of the story though, was the possibility that Gage and Rory were half siblings. I felt so much ick because of this, and the scenes of them lusting after each other were so uncomfortable. Things wrapped up quickly (and a little too neatly) at the end, but the epilogue was very sweet and I loved how all the characters came together.

Audiobook Review
Overall 3.5 stars
Performance 4 stars
Story 3 stars

The narration by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands was well done. Their voices complemented each other and they both did a great job bringing Rory and Gage to life. I do wish there had been a little more variation in the voices used, but overall it was an enjoyable listening experience.

OW/OM notes: Some OW drama and an unreciprocated kiss. There’s also some ex drama at the start of the novel for the FMC.

CW: death of parent (past), grief, unknown parentage, financial concerns, animal death (raccoon, on page)

*I voluntarily listened to an advance review copy of this book*

Mia Sheridan can do no wrong! Ahh this one here.. this made me laugh and fall in love with Gage & Rory.

The banter!! It’s so good! The dash of mystery was perfection & when she found out who her father was definitely gave me the chills.

Rory is from a small town but has never meet her father. After meeting Gage in a very 🥵 way I must say her spark is ignited again so she goes on a quest to see what she can find with the clues her mom left behind.

I loved Archers Voice so I was thrilled when I got the ALC for Falling for Gage. I think Mia Sheridan is a great storyteller. She has a way of getting me to fall in love with all the characters and feel connected to the story.

The narration by Maeve York and Benjamin Sands was great! I felt that they both helped bring the story to life.

I loved how effortlessly it felt between Rory and Gage. Their genuine connection and friendship was felt throughout the whole book. I loved how independent and fiercely loyal Rory was. I appreciated how strong of a FMC she was.

The possible brother sister trope was not my favorite. I felt like it was overdone in the middle of the story and I got a little tired of it. That was my only complaint with the book.

I enjoy the overlap with some of the characters from her other books! It was so nice to see where they are today and have even more of their story.

You will not be disappointed with this book! It was such a heartwarming and fun read.
