Perfectly Wicked by Lindsay Lovise is a blend between Charmed and Hallmark and it's a perfect small town paranormal romance. This is a lighthearted story, full of cute and mysterious moments. I really liked this book, and saw potential in this becoming a series since we were introduced to a wide range of secondary characters.

I really liked this one. It gave me some Practical Magic vibes. It is perfect for spooky season or for just whenever you want to read a cute romance.

This cozy fantasy rom-com was a fist full of green flags. I loved this book. Ghost hunters. Closeted witch-like family. One of the most wholesome romances I’ve read in a while - wholesome has nothing to do with spice (there is some). Both partners were incredibly thoughtful, respectful, fairly upfront and honest, and cute as all get out. Holly’s family is the definition of endearing. An apple orchard setting to boot left me completely smitten. I’ll be here for book 2 - I have my fingers crossed for Winter’s story!

I Love a good Paranormal book and this one did not disappoint! There's an apple orchard where magical things happen and the family tries to keep their secrets. A Paranormal ghost hunter who wants to record at the orchard. A must Fall read!!

A sweet autumn rom com that really scratches an itch - I know I’ll be going back to it again this autumn. 🍂 I felt the pacing was a tad slow at times, but it was a cute read overall and I enjoyed getting to know the characters.

Perfect setup of enemies to lovers with forced proximity! I really liked how they opened up to and supported each other, the slow-burn was amazing. Also this paranormal world is so cool? I absolutely need the next book rn

I received an ARC of this book and I’m super late in getting to it but I enjoyed it! It gave a little bit of charmed vibes, a bit of Practical Magic, a tad of supernatural, and a wicked good time. Connor is someone who has his own past but is trying to not only earn more of his future but expose the supernatural for the “good of others” and running from his own past. Holly has a family secret, an apple farm to protect, and a stubborn streak. Together that start as enemies and then move to colleagues and more, the tension building, the feelings growing, and as things begin to coalesce, it all starts to fall apart. A bit of mystery and a whole lotta love and laughter I liked this take on wicked witches and the spin you’ll enjoy!

This is an absolutely wonderful story. The world building that the author does is so wonderful. I love the flow and placement of the information. I went in the totally wrong direction. The characters are amazing. I love the banter and dynamic between the family members. Watching them interact with others is hilarious. The plot is such a multilayered affair. I want more. I have questions. I hope there will be more to this amazing world!

It was cute but fell kinda flat for me. I would definitely recommend it to romance readers I just personally didn’t love the plot.

I love this paranormal romantic comedy! It didn’t take itself too seriously and was fun throughout the entire book. I enjoyed the unique take on Wickeds verses Witches and thought it was creative. Connor and Holly had great chemistry and wonderful growth arcs individually and together. I hope this becomes a series and I get to read more about the other Celeste sisters!

4.5/5 I loved this small town paranormal contemporary story. It was the perfect blend of Charmed meets Hallmark.
A rural town in Maine with a struggling apple farm is saved when the co-host of a popular tv show, from the city, gets the heroine to agree to be part of the show. The tv show is based on paranormal experiences and Holly’s family is just a bit different and happy to stay out of the spotlight.
I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. It’s lighthearted, cute and filled with just enough mystery.
Pieces from both Connor and Holly’s lives are revealed as the story progresses and added to the intrigue of the overall story. I liked both MC and the progression of Holly and Connor’s relationship from enemies to lovers and forbidden to opening up, trusting one another, and growing from their experiences.
There was plenty of tension outside of their relationship between toxic ex-boyfriends, those that have it out for the Celeste family, and a ghost that won’t pass over to the other side.
I read this in the winter and enjoyed being immersed in the story but could imagine it would be a great fall read as well.
Perfectly Wicked is a standalone novel. However, it was also had the making to be a series, introducing a wide range of secondary characters who could have their story and a potential plot that could be overarching the series. There are two open door encounters that were mid-level steam.
I received an advance reader copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I love Lindsay's historical romances, and have had so much fun reading them. I own multiple copies of Never Blow a Kiss, and will own multiple of Never Gamble Your Heart as soon as it's out and available (I'm reading it now and love it). I was excited for a spooky, atmospheric, romantic contemporary romance! Things started out really great for me, but then fizzled around the 40% mark. The romance was oddly paced, especially for an enemies to lovers trope. I loved the fall vibes, the unique premise, and I was quite intrigued by the mystery of the man haunting the grounds. I know I'm in the minority, so I will still recommend this as a great witchy, Halloween read that's perfect for Fall. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Perfectly Wicked was spooky, atmospheric, and romantic all at the same time! I loved seeing how this one would play out!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher!
What a wonderful read! Now I want to own an Apple orchard. And live in the same world as Holly and her sisters and aunts. Can hunky ghost hunters be a new genre?

This one's super hard for me to rate. Because while I did enjoy it, I have no lasting feelings regarding it. I think that's mainly because I really didn't like our mmc, Connor. He made me uncomfortable for some reason. But I did love Holly and her family, which helped balance this one for me. It's definitely not something I'm planning on rereading, but I didn't have any glaring problems with it.

I actually loved this so much. Holly was such an eldest daughter in the best possible way and I loved the lore behind the magic (and the nod to the Grimm Brothers). The apple farm setting is so unique (at least it's not something I've read before) and I've grown to love a small town cozy setting for a paranormal romance.
Connor and Holly's relationship (while a tad insta-lovey, we'll blame it on the magic) felt genuine throughout the story. They were both sincere and I appreciated that we could avoid a *maybe spoiler?* whole miscommunication trope. Missy and Winter and the aunts were LOVELY and I would love a story following the other sisters. Lovise has a bonus epilogue about Winter but I would devour a full novel about each sister.
Thank you Netgalley and Alcove Press for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Perfectly Wicked is an absolute delight from start to finish! If you love a blend of charming romance, quirky characters, and magical mischief, this book is everything you’ve been waiting for. With a perfect mix of Charmed vibes and Ghosthunters-style suspense, it’s a wonderfully enchanting paranormal romance that had me hooked right from the start.
Holly Celeste is the heart and soul of this story—an incredibly relatable and strong-willed heroine who, along with her family, is keeping a magical secret at their struggling orchard, Wicked Good Apples. The Celestes might be the talk of the town for their mysterious farm and unusual cider, but Holly’s mission is to keep their magical heritage under wraps, especially when the charming paranormal investigator Connor Grimm shows up with his cameras rolling. She’s determined to keep him in the dark about the truth, but of course, that’s easier said than done.
Connor is just as irresistible as he is charming. A nationally beloved paranormal investigator with a knack for uncovering the truth, he’s a perfect match for Holly’s feisty, skeptical nature. The dynamic between them is absolutely electric, and the slow-burn romance had me rooting for them every step of the way. The banter between Holly and Connor is witty and heartwarming, and I loved watching their relationship unfold as they work together to uncover the orchard’s mysterious past.
The world-building in Perfectly Wicked is fantastic. The orchard setting is full of charm and a sense of old-world mystery, and the author skillfully weaves in the magical elements to create a story that feels both whimsical and grounded in the rich lore of the Celeste family. The mix of ghost stories, paranormal investigation, and magical mischief is just the right amount of fun, and it kept me eagerly turning pages.
What truly sets this book apart, though, is the balance between the romance and the suspense. The chemistry between Holly and Connor is palpable, but the tension around the hidden magical secrets of the orchard creates a wonderful undercurrent of intrigue. As they dig deeper into the farm’s history, the stakes get higher, and I loved how the author kept me on the edge of my seat while still delivering all the heartwarming moments that make a romance so satisfying.
The pacing is perfect, the writing is engaging, and the characters are wonderfully developed. Fans of The Ex Hex and Not the Witch You Wed will absolutely love this book, as it combines humor, heart, and just the right amount of magic to make for a truly enchanting read.
If you’re looking for a lighthearted, magically wicked romance with a touch of mystery and a whole lot of heart, Perfectly Wicked is the book for you. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this delightful world!

Perfectly Wicked by Lindsay Lovise was everything I could want in a book, and then some. From start to finish, I was completely swept away by the vibes. The enemies-to-lovers energy between Connor and Holly was absolutely perfect—equal parts tension, wit, and slow-burn affection that made the payoff feel so earned. Watching their relationship grow had me rooting for them at every step.
The mystery surrounding the orchard’s ghost and its true past added such a fun and eerie layer to the story. I loved uncovering those secrets alongside Connor and Holly, and how it wove so seamlessly into the romance and magic of the orchard itself.
Holly’s sisters brought so much charm and life to the book. Their quirks and the bond they shared with Holly added warmth, making the orchard feel like a place I wanted to visit again and again.
This book had all the right tropes—enemies-to-lovers, found family, a touch of magic, and a mystery that kept me hooked until the very end. It was sweet, swoony, and utterly perfectly wicked. I already want to revisit Holly, Connor, and the whole orchard again .

I really was excited for this one. But right off the bat the writing was clunky and I felt so lost. The setting was super cute and cozy and I enjoyed the main characters but the writing just made it hard to enjoy.

I loved this one! It is the perfect fall read, full of witchcraft, love, and cozy walks through the (haunted) apple orchard!
