I was really excited to read this book, even though I hadn't read the first one. The synopsis drew me in.
With that said, I had a hard time connecting to these characters and the story itself. It just seemed too unreal to me. Even with fiction, I need to at least be able to believe in the story.
Overall, it was an okay book, just not one I would rave about.
