Wasn’t a fan of Indigo, Found her to be whiny and childish. I found the writing style not the my favorite. Just a tad bit elementary. Just not my thing. Maybe I’m just too old lol.. I honestly closed the book, walked away, and couldn’t remember what I just read.

I truly enjoyed the new spin to witches and sorcerers. I have always thought that they were the same - I have definitely been proven wrong. I look forward to reading more books from Michelle Krys soon!

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.
This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!

Confession, I am writing this review as I clean up/out my NetGalley pending reviews.
I remember feeling lukewarm about this book in that I enjoyed it while I was reading, but afterwards I was meh about it.

These books were really fun and awesome to read! There was a lot of wit, and comebacks, and yeah, they were really hilarious! I also really enjoyed this world, because it was a different take on witches and magic.
The novella was of one day from Paige's life. Which lines up with the beginning of Hexed, which is the beginning of Indie's story, so reading them back to back was awesome! And it also meant that we knew more about what happened then the girls, themselves, because, hey, memory wipes!
Indie was an interesting character. She was popular, but she was kinda getting tired of it, at least, being best friends with the head bully. It also turns out that she could be, and is, a witch. And that witches have a pretty big group who want them dead. Oh, and the witch council, is pretty horrible, what we learn about it in the two books. Like, almost another enemy, bad. Wouldn't want them ruling me!
The ending of Hexed was such a cliffhanger, and then Charmed dived in pretty quickly, and there were a lot of ups and downs, and some pretty major revelations, too. That one about her dad was particularly painful! But it went well with the ending, it was bittersweet, since they won, but it had a cost!
Yeah, this was a really wonderful, amazing series, and I would love to have a 3rd book!
