I enjoyed this novel a lot. At times it was difficult to read which I think was the point with the prominent theme of bullying throughout. It really gives you an insight into the difficulties surrounding bullying and a realistic approach to the overall experience. My only complaint is the characters felt rather surface level and I wouldn't have loved to know them on a deeper level. I didn't feel particularly attached to our characters because I didn't know that much of their backstory. The ending was beautiful though and really wrapped up the plot nicely. Over all a 3.5 to 4 star read.

After his mom dies, Carlton goes to live with his famous hockey star uncle, he starts at a prep school where he meets goth girl, Emily. He crushes on her and decides to go goth himself. Carlton is also dealing with two bullies who never seem to let up. When something serious happens to Carlton, will it end the bullying for good?

I absolutely love how this book raises awareness on bullying. As someone who had delay with it myself I can relate so much and I think this book will help many. I also love how our man is sticking by the girl he has fallen for and no bully is going to destroy that. I will be sharing much more thoughts very soon
