Warrior in Pink is a fascinating, challenging adventure into a life of faith. When cancer strikes a family, it shakes seemingly sturdy foundations to the seams. In my family, only one person to my knowledge has had cancer—my grandfather. He died from it when I was 16 months old, so I don’t remember him even though I’ve always been told that he loved spending time with me. As the years have gone on, I’ve seen other people around me get cancer, and through that I know how devastatingly it can affect families.

When she receives a call saying “You have cancer”, Vivian Mabuni’s life suddenly does a complete 180° turn. Throughout Warrior in Pink, Vivian weaves in Biblical truths that strengthened and helped her endure the trial. This story is an inspiration and a challenge to live fully in the life that we have, and trust the Lord when the path grows too dark to see.
