I did not get to this book, unfortunately. I started the first one and it ended up being a soft dnf. I will definitely come back to this series when I’m more in the mood for such a heavy read! I think the writing is wonderful, but it is pretty heavy with all of the different characters and world building!

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. I want to thank Tim Facciola and NetGalley for sending me this ARC copy. This is the last book of the trilogy and it didn’t disappoint!
The book does start out quite quick, it is well written and very descriptive- lots of blood and fighting! There was also great characterisation and good character development, some were a bit surprising.
Definitely recommend the read!
Tim Facciola concludes his series “A Vengeful Realm” with this installment. The cast of characters meet their destinies with varying degrees of success and this saga ends in a satisfactory way to this reader. The characters continue to develop throughout the tale so there is hope for redemption. Overall a very satisfying series. I look forward to more from this author.
One of the best trilogies I've read in a long time! I can only compare it to Jeff Wheeler's stories. But like all good things, unfortunately A Vengeful Realm also comes to an end with The Age of the End, the third and final book in the series.
Set in an original universe but clearly based on the Roman Empire, with a complete and very complete mythology, well-defined characters and situations, betrayals, conspiracies, alliances, loves, hates and grudges, but above all, a lot of action: battles described with a Immersive cinematic style.
Mr. Facciola's writing style is arguably vivid and highly addictive. I hope to be able to read more works by his signature in the future, and who knows if any producer decides to bring this trilogy to the screen...
I thank Tim Facciola and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
The opinion I have expressed above is based solely on what I think and feel about this book.
Review: Blood, blood, blood. Pouring, puddles, splashes, soaking. Used about 752x it never leaves you. A long novel covered in....er, is the grande finale' to a series that had gotten to the point.
This is installment is filled with recriminations, vengeance and juvenile bickering that are the emotional cap on this bloody bucket. Excessive backstory slowed the novel down where characters constantly relive injustices of the past. Each chapter is a duplicate of the ones preceding all the while you know where this is going to end.
I am rooting for this author as I believe he has talent. Just some better editing is required for now.
Rating: 2.6/5
Tim Facciola has done it again. I continue to love these books. The pacing, character development, and world-building continue to be an all-enveloping delight and I hope to keep reading books by this author.
