Have read all of Allison's books and they never disappoint. a Good story that kept me going from beginning to end and will definitely be on good beach reads for the summer

Allison Brennan has me hooked. This is a new series from her and I already cannot wait for more. The Angelhart family has a unique dynamic and I feel that there is much more to their story than what was shared in book one of this series. I am so excited for the rest of this series.
Margo is my favorite character in this book. She has spunk, determination, and loyalty. I love her style of doing her PI work. She works hard and does not take what she sees at face value. Her determination and loyalty makes her the perfect PI for a series of books that I look forward to reading more of.
I give this book a full 5 stars!!

Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC!
Margo has a heart of gold and a passion for justice as she helps an abused wife disappear from her police officer husband and even cleaning out her bank account to help her start over. Although Margo has gone out on her own as a private investigator she has learned the business through her family who also own a firm. So when a woman offers to pay her handsomely to investigate and document her cheating husband, she takes the job to pay the bills even when her instincts tell her he is faithful. and the wife has motives of her own. Her case collides with her family's as they are also investigating him and the company he runs for a corporate imbezzling issue. As they agree to put differences aside, the stakes get higher and higher as they search for the key to they mystery, Jennifer White who has gone missing. She has to decide how much she trusts her instincts and her family before someone she loves gets hurt. Allison Brennan has does it again -- this is a fun investigative suspense with great twists and Margo is a smart and likeable heroine. Looking forward to the next one!

I like Allison Brennan's stories. I have read her Lucy Kincaid series and am also reading Max Revere. I was very happy to receive an ARC from #netgalley.
The story has a solid story line with the potential of this being a series. The star of the show Margo, is a champion for the under dog. It's too bad her relationship with her mom and family by extension is a bit strained. There is a lot happening in this book, in two parallel stories almost.
There is a lot of back and forth between story lines and characters, and I really had to focus to make sure I was on top of the story. I struggle to tie this storytelling style with that of the Lucy Kincaid series. And that is probably on me.
I am looking forward to reading more from this author and on this series. Thank you NetGalley for sending me this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I am such a big fan of @abwrites’ crime fiction novels and her newest book, You’ll Never Find Me, is another suspenseful crime novel. This book is the first in a new series about the Angelhart family and their private investigator firm(s). The story is full of drama and secrets, both within the family dynamics and the cases the Angelhart siblings are investigating. I loved the settings of Phoenix and Scottsdale AZ. I’m already looking forward to the next book in this series! I recommend reading this one over the summer!

I can't think of a better summer read than a new Allison Brennan start to a new mystery series. Here I come sun, sand, surf and a great read. Margo Angelhart is one of the most prickly and stubborn characters, Brennan has ever written. I'm not sure I'm a fan. This book has several situations and cases that have Margo, and the reader, going in different directions. I almost needed a murder board to keep everything straight. A lot has changed for Margo in the last seven years since the prequel novella, "Into the Fire". Her prickly and stubborn has cost her dearly. But Allison Brennan is a master at tying it all together and I love the little surprises along the way. In Margo Angelhart I hear echos of another PI, Kinsey Millhone. Both are strong, independent and see the shades of gray instead of all black or all white. They will not, under any circumstances, let an innocent client down.
My thanks to the Publisher and Author for providing a complimentary digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this novel via NetGalley. This is my fair, honest and personal review. All opinions are mine alone and were not biased in any way.

Allison Brennan's "You’ll Never Find Me" kicks off her brand-new series with a bang, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into the world of the Angelhart family. This book is a wild ride, packed with twists, turns, and plenty of mysteries to keep you guessing.
In "You’ll Never Find Me," we follow Margo Angelhart, a tough-as-nails investigator who’s initially on what seems to be a run-of-the-mill cheating husband case. But the situation quickly becomes anything but straightforward, leading Margo into a tangled web of secrets and hidden truths. As she digs deeper, she not only has to untangle the case but also navigate the rocky waters of her own family’s complex dynamics.
What really hooked me about this book is how many moving parts there are. Brennan doesn’t just throw one mystery at you; she gives you a whole buffet of them! There are so many threads to follow and puzzles to solve, and while it can be a bit of a whirlwind to keep track of everything, it makes for a super engaging read. Plus, not everything gets tied up neatly by the end, which just amps up the anticipation for the next book. I can’t wait to see where all these loose ends lead.
Margo is such a compelling character. She’s got this strong sense of right and wrong that sometimes makes her color outside the legal lines, but you can’t help but root for her. She’s incredibly good at her job, fiercely loves her family, and carries a lot of emotional baggage. Watching her fight for the underdog and struggle with her family’s issues was intense but also really rewarding. By the end, it was nice to see the family in a better place than where they started, despite all the chaos.
The Angelhart family is quite the crew, and Brennan does a great job introducing us to them all. They’re a large and varied bunch, each with their own stories and quirks. I’m especially curious about Jack—he’s a loving father, a loyal son, a wonderful brother, and very good at his job. But there’s more to him than that, and I’d really love to read his story. There’s definitely a lot more to uncover about this family, and I’m eager to see how Brennan develops their stories in future books.
"You’ll Never Find Me" is an exciting start to what looks like a fantastic new series from Allison Brennan. With its intricate plot and richly drawn characters, it’s a page-turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Margo’s journey is both thrilling and heartfelt, and I’m already looking forward to the next installment to see how the Angelhart family’s saga unfolds. If you’re into suspenseful mysteries with deep family drama, you’ll want to pick this one up!

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this ARC publication for an honest review.
I am a fan of Allison Brennan, so I was thrilled to receive this ARC of her newest series. I did go back first and read the prequel "Into the Fire" which gave a nice introduction into the Angelhart Family and centered on Margo's origin story of becoming a PI. You'll Never Find Me was a good start to this series even if you didn't read the previous one. There is a lot of family dynamics and a couple of different storylines going on and I was invested in both plotlines. Something that was an interesting take on this book was that we got many of the characters point of views telling the story even some of the more minor characters.
Solid storytelling all around, and an enjoyable family with some complicated relationships. There was mystery and plenty of on the edge of your seat moments. I'm glad this is a series because I was left with many unanswered questions...looking forward to the next book!

This novel has several story lines. They are unrelated to each other but they flow well together wrapped around the wonderful, private investigator, Margo.
Margo takes on cases that the law can’t help. She has just helped a young girl and her two children escape from her abusive husband. And this husband is not letting it go. He is out for blood and it just might be Margo.
Margo also has been hired by a lady to follow her cheating husband and get proof of his misdeeds. Margo hates these cases. But the more she follows the husband the more she realizes the wife may be the problem.
I have read several Allison Brennan’s books and there is not a bad one in the bunch. And I truly enjoyed this novel as well. This has great intensity and great characters. I never knew which way this was going to turn next.

Margo Angelhardt is a private investigator in the middle of a family spat with her mom and siblings, who own Angelhardt Investigations. Margo has split from them and is running her own operation. She's hired by Brittany to prove that her husband, Logan, is having an affair. Margo tracks Logan to his meetup with Jennifer, where she encounters her siblings Jack and Tess, who are running surveillance on Jennifer for stealing company secrets. Things get sticky when Margo and Angelhardt Investigations are forced to work together for the sake of their clients. Throw in the fact that Margo has a psycho cop looking for her (she has a side hustle helping abused spouses get out of bad situations) and that nothing is what it seems, and you have a classic Allison Brennan mystery.
The book is told in multiple POVs, primarily from Margo, Tess, and Jack. We also get the POVs of Peter Carillo (the cop), The Thief, and Theo Washington (a side character who works for Margo), to name a few.
I love this book for so many reasons. First off, Allison Brennan is a story-crafting goddess. I know that when I'm looking for a good police procedural whodunit cop PI book, I won't be disappointed if I pick one of hers. I am also a huge fan of series. I don't like getting attached to characters and then never hearing from them again. This book perfectly sets up the series. Margo's dad is in jail for murder, and his refusal to fight the charges is what causes the Angelhardt family split in the first place. Our book ends with Margo coming back into the family fold and setting up the rest of the series.

A new series that has me intrigued.
The plot is very interesting with family drama and mystery.
There are a lot of characters!
Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I love this book and all her books are just good books with engaging characters and readable stories. This one was no exception it was very readable and will read more in this we
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for letting me review book

In addition to her paid investigations, P.I. Margo Angelhart helps a woman and her children escape from an abusive and controlling husband. Although the woman has safely left the state, her husband, a cop, will use his resources to track down the person who helped his wife. Margo’s mother, brother and two sisters are all involved in the family firm, Angelhart Investigations. Margo, who is not known for playing by the rules, operates her own firm. Her brother is working a case of corporate espionage and a missing female employee. The woman and her mentor were threatened and she is now on the run. In a separate case, Margo was hired to investigate the mentor, by his wife, who believes he is cheating on her. The twist and turns between the cases, including the abusive cop, the missing woman and the possible cheating husband dovetail into an explosive and thrilling ending. Margo is the one you want on your side if you are ever in trouble and her unique family dynamics add a special heartwarming quality to the story. The series opener of the new Allison Brennan series Angelhart Investigations promises to be another hit series. Margo Angelhart is a PI who not only works cases but also helps those in need. Because of a falling out with her mother, Margo has gone it alone in her own practice, even though her mother and siblings also run a successful and lucrative PI firm. When the latest case has them crossing paths they find themselves working together on a case both dangerous and convoluted. Can’t wait till the next installment.

2.5 stars
I've read other books by this author, but this one missed the mark for me. The characters were mediocre. I kept waiting for them develop, but that never happened. I did enjoy the multiple POVs, but I never really felt a connection with anyone. I had expected a bit more suspense than I found in this book. There really aren't any surprises, and it just was too slow and a bit unbelievable.

If you enjoy mystery crime series, then you may enjoy this one. It was an easy read and entertaining enough. I found it average. There was nothing in it that really grabbed me, but it still managed to keep me reading until the end.
It did bother me that the one storyline, which is based on the title of the book, seemed more like a secondary story.
I do want to thank NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an arc e-book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a great start to the Angelhart series. Ms. Brennan really introduced the characters in the family very well, you got a feel for all of their personalities.. I loved Margo and her outspoken and honest feelings and advice. Her case that bumped into her families case kept you guessing til the end. The whole book was well written and flowed smoothly.. As Ms. Brennan books usually do it was a book that kept me up late into the night.I can not wait for more stories about the Angelhart family and I hope Margo falls in love soon. I would like to express my thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing/Mira.

I will start my review by saying I LOVE Allison and her Quinn and Costa series. It's actually one of my favorites. Which is what I was hoping this would be.... for me it started a little mixed. The plot line and stories felt messy as they were told. The intertwining sometimes made it difficult to follow and I know she does that, but I just couldn't stick with it as easy as her others I've read.
That said I love Margo! I love her get shit done attitude, her background & yeah even the drama with her family. I love that she is ride or die when it comes to her Dad. That she follows her well ingrained instincts and even when she doesn't think shes on the right path, her gut is usually right! Her family coming together in the end, whatever it looks like in future stories, I'm excited to see iron out. I love that in some way she is planning to come back in to the family folds. I'm also so intrigued to find out more about her Dad! What got in sent to prison?!? Is he really guilty? What is the case? Will some evidence come along to reopen the case?
The twist of the story coming together in chapter 30 was an absolute surprise and I wasn't at all expecting it! I was curious to see how the separate storylines were going to intertwine. Seeing that piece to the puzzle fall in was a big WHAT?! moment for me! The Peter and Annie storyline made my stomach hurt. Discussions of Domestic Assault are so tough when kids are involved. As a character Peter truly scared me. Which I believe is a testament to the writing of his character and his development through the book.
What to generally expect:
⭐ Intertwined Story Lines
⭐ Detective Crime Solving
⭐ Topics of Domestic Abuse and Rape are covered
⭐ Sibling rivalry
⭐ Corporate Embezzlement
⭐ And most of all finding yourself through the process of saving others.
It was overall at great read. I would be willing to recommend it to others and look forward to the next in the storyline.
Thank you to NetGalley + Harlequin for an eARC! I always love getting to share the authors you so willingly and graciously give us access to!

Solid Series Starter. This has pretty much everything one would want in a family based PI / police procedural type drama series starter. Complicated family dynamics, a compelling case - where in this particular instance (series?) family members find themselves on different sides of the case -, an interesting mystery, and the storytelling to put it all together quite well indeed.
As is typical of such a series, this is clearly going to be a "freak of the week" type with an overall lore and mythos, and both look to be compelling going forward.
Fans of the genre generally will find a lot to like here, and those who haven't really dabbled in this kind of tale before will also find a lot to like that could potentially bring in new fans.
Ultimately, this is one of those series starter books that does everything it needs to do and does it all quite well.
Very much recommended.

3.5 stars - Margo Angelhart's whole family are private investigators, but she is estranged from her once close family and works alone. The reason for the estrangement is touched on and seems like this plot point will be revisited in a future book. When one of Margo's cases is unexpectedly tied to one her brother and sister are working on, she grudgingly agrees that it makes sense if they work together. The investigation gets more and more complicated the more they dig for information. There are a few unexpected twists as Margo, Jack, and Tess try to get to the truth of the case.
Tess is also working on something separately that involves an Arizona state trooper who abuses his wife. This case shows the reader that Margo is willing to bend the rules to help those in need, but that could have been done without the detailed descriptions of the violent actions of this man toward his wife. Due to this disturbing storyline as well as too many points-of-view, the book started out slowly for me. In addition, although Margo is a good person, her prickly personality takes some time to get used to. Eventually, everything starts coming together and I grew to like the way Margo and her brother Jack worked together. I became more engaged in the suspense of the story. The ending is satisfying and hopeful, providing the set-up for an interesting follow-up book.
I received an advance copy of this ebook at no cost from NetGalley, HTP Books, and Mira. My review is voluntary and unbiased.
