Allison Brennan has done a good job of creating a complex and multi-layered plot that keeps you guessing until the very end. The characters are fully fleshed out and each one has a unique voice that adds depth and authenticity to the story. The pacing held my interest, with just the right amount of tension and suspense to keep me reading.
Overall, I would recommend You'll Never Find Me. The story kept me engaged and entertained.

Marvelously done, Allison Brennan! I am hooked and ready for a series with these characters. An intriguing story that pulled me straight in all the while keeping my interest throughout the book. Could there be a love interest in the future? Can a family be stronger than their challenges? Will the truth that separated her from her family come to light? Though "You'll Never Find Me" could end here, I want more!
I loved that the author did not go overboard with detail nor did she continuously repeat the thoughts of the characters. I am giving it a 5 star. It did what a story is meant to do and I'm giving it credit for that! This will be a great pick to get your hands on when released in June 2024. I definitely recommend it.
This book features a standard-flow plot line, regularly dispensing information as it comes chronologically, versus a long build up to the big reveal with surprises for the reader. There is no doubt the Angelhart family will prevail in its investigations, as well as in preserving its family connection (personal and business).
I liked the book and character mix, and would probably read another in this new series, but wished for a bit of an edge or surprise to the plot. I also wasn't a fan of the descriptive SA content and the redundancy with which the bad husband kept referencing how he had to find his wife, how he hadn't done anything wrong. I also didn't 100% buy that the other law enforcement officers sensed the husband was "a little off" in his story about the marriage. The corporate espionage story was ok, but I wish there wasn't an incredibly talented IT expert in every new mystery book to come to the rescue. And I didn't buy that the CEO would marry that woman - I wanted him to be smarter than that, and think he was, but the plot didn't go with the portrayal of him.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review Alison Brannan's new novel, pub date 6/25/24. 3.5 stars rounded up.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest opinion.
Nothing brings family together like crime.
Working alone as a private investigator is tough. Estranged from her PI family, Margo Angelhart does what she must to get by—including taking on sordid cases that pay the bills, even if she’d rather be helping those the justice system has failed.
I have read a large number of Brennan's book and this one does not disappoint.
What I like about Brennan’s writing is that she always includes multiple POV’s, so that you can see what the other characters are thinking and feeling, not just the main character(s). This was a fast read and fully packed with plenty of action.
I highly recommend for people who enjoy reading thriller/mystery.
This is a good start of a new series. It has a good plot, with 2 mysteries and a good cast of characters. I will definitely read another book from this series. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
The Angelharts's what can I say but loved every single member of this family. I have always loved this author but haven't read her books in awhile so I decided to pick up this book and I wasn't disappointed! Love the multiple flipping back between characters and storylines. This book definitely had me up reading into the night. Margo is a private investigator that was hired by a client to see if her husband was cheating or not but Margo finds so much more going on and this case intertwines with her siblings case they are working. I hope this becomes a big series because I would love to see many more books. Highly recommend if your looking for a great mystery!
This was a fantastic start to a new series. I didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait till the next Allison Brennan novel. I love her books.
As always Mrs. Brennan writes a book to lose yourself in. Her characters are well thought out and her story lines are well crafted.
Margo is the maverick we all want to be and her family, mostly the family we all want, but her beliefs and actions keep us all entertained for hours. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was fantastic. I really enjoyed reading it and didn’t want to put it down. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC!
Start of a new series for Brennan, we are introduced to the Angelhart Family who their own private investigation firm. What I like about Brennan’s writing is that she always includes multiple POV’s, so that you can see what the other characters are thinking and feeling, not just the main character(s). This was a fast read and fully packed with plenty of action. Margo Angelhart has broken off from her family because of what happened to her father. She has set up her own PI firm and takes what cases she can to pay her rent. Margo has taken a cheating husband case but hasn’t been able to find any evidence that he is cheating. His wife tells Margo where he will be the next day and Margo arrives at this destination and finds her subject (Logan Monroe) and a woman (Jennifer) both unconscious on the floor. Margo breaks into the house to try to see if she can help and she finds her brother, Jack and sister, Tess and realizes that they are investigating the woman. Jack has missed Margo very much, especially from their PI firm, and he convinces her to work with them to see what is going on with Logan and Jennifer. I highly recommend this book from Brennan and hope to see many more starring the Angelhart Investigations. Thank you to Netgalley and Mira for providing an advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
Nothing brings family together like crime. Working alone as a private investigator is tough. Estranged from her PI family, Margo Angelhart does what she must to get by, including taking on sordid cases that pay the bills, even if she’d rather be helping those the justice system has failed. That is, until a cheating husband case she’s working intersects with her siblings’ corporate espionage investigation, forcing Margo to cooperate with the Angelhart firm. Now, as the siblings compare notes, it’s clear they need to work together before a white-collar crime escalates to murder! Great read! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, a great who done it and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
I like this author. She does not disappoint...This is a story that is fiction, but at times, this reads like nonfiction. Several themes running throughout this novel such as family love and disappointment, spousal abuse, abuse of power, friendship and love...I had a difficult time putting this book down. I wanted to see how it ended...which that being said, it ended somewhat abruptly...I wonder what happened to the wife and children...that is another topic...in the meantime, the characters in this book come alive on the pages...the mystery and intrigue is woven among the family issues. Thanks Netgalley.

“Nothing brings family together like crime”
Allison Brennan has done it again! A fast-paced, crime mystery with intriguing characters. This first book in a new series is about a family of Private Investigators immersed in multiple cases. The main protagonist Margo Angelhart is estranged from her family for reasons the book develops as a substantial plot. She is a PI on her own taking on cases that she believes in while her family (mother and siblings from a variety of backgrounds: military, law enforcement, law) are taking their own cases. The series begins where the cases become intertwined forcing Margo to interact with her family more than she usually would.
I enjoyed the unique storytelling of multiple POVs and only Margo’s POV being told in “first person”. I don’t know if I ever read a book that way but it brought me closer to Margo’s character. The POVs chosen were also interesting as a plot-device. Reading a lot of crime fiction, it was refreshing to see how much more PI’s can get away with Vs. law enforcement. There are less boundaries/ procedures/ red tape the PI’s must follow. This will be fun to see moving forward to future books in this series. I enjoyed the variety of characters and backgrounds that stand out in any crime fiction such as forensics, hackers, computer experts, research specialists and great crime solvers. It also had emotional impact of suspense, and sense of wanting justice.
The one thing it missed for my personal preference is a romance subplot. The story did allude to one (or two) and it grabbed my attention for its uniqueness. So I am eager to see how that evolves in book 2. This feels like a first book in a series as it starts to develop side plots that were not complete. There are missing pieces or unanswered questions that are foreshadowed to be developed in further books of the series.
I recommend this book especially to anyone wanting to get into Allison Brennan books with the start of a new series. If you love crime, case solving, family dynamics, suspense and mystery, you will love this one.
When I tell you I DEVOURED this book!!! I read it in a little over twenty four hours which probably should be embarrassing but oh well. I absolutely loved this new series with Margo and her family! This series is definitely a departure from the tone/vibe that AB usually writes with. It gave me Rebecca Zanetti- Anna Albertini series vibes. It's funny but it's also several good mysteries that overlap. I will say that the numerous POV's were at time kind of alot and the numerous things that were referenced that happened before this book had me wondering if I had missed a book previous to it.
