Another great book by Carla Kovach. Gina Harte is spot on as usual and this one is no exception when they are called out to a little girls whos mother has gone missing the story eventually begins to untangle and its a race against time.

Absolutely jaw dropping twist near the end! Phenomenal!

If you enjoy a good police procedural with a strong cast of characters you need to check out Carla Kovach's Gina Harte series. This story has the team working around the clock to find a woman who was abducted in front of her 5 year old child. Every second counts with this case which escalates with every passing hour. I loved the way the chapters jumped from one character to another thus demonstrating the urgency involved. The plot at times became quite complicated so I was happy to see that emphasis on the personal lives of the detectives was kept to a minimum. The identity of the kidnapper really shocked me, they were not even on my radar. I will be waiting with bated breath for the next book.

We are now at book 15 in this series and once again we have another fantastic story. Gina Harte is one of my all-time favourite characters and in this multilayered story we see her and the team back in dire situations as they chase down a kidnapper that is causing them all sorts of grief.

The story begins with little five-year-old Cleo who is discovered late at night by a neighbor, her mother has just been taken and the last words her mother said to her were to run, which she did. A terrifying situation for a young child to be in and this sets the scene for an excellent story that keeps you captivated throughout the book.

Great plot and excellent characters, I really had no idea who the culprit was and read this book in one sitting, again until the early hours. Highly recommended, five stars. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book.

This is one of my favourite series of books, and this didn’t disappoint. I love how Gina bends the rules to solve cases, her protective nature of her team and how she always goes above and beyond. This has so many twists and turns. Loved seeing how all the bits of the puzzle came together. I genuinely had no clue who the kidnapper/murderer was. The few select chapters written from their pov gave nothing away. Highly recommend! 5 🌟

I have had a bit of a reading slump lately so there’s nothing like a Carla Kovach book to get me out of that. Gina and the team have a case to solve before time runs out for the victims. The only downside is now having to wait for the next book. As usual a five star read.

For the 15th tiime already, Gina Harte and her team have to two ennemies they have to beat. There is the baddie on the one hand of course, but on the other hand there is that clock ticking time away.

This is a complex story with lots of people who could fit the name culprit perfectly, but who is the right one? 

Gina and her team are giving full throttle in order to find the victims. Will they be able to rescue them before it's too late? 

The past is behind you, but it does not matter how far you go or how many time has passed, it can catch up with you and bite you in the back.

I'll never get tired of reading books starring Gina Harte. They paint the picture of a woman who does not shy away from danger for her own life as long as she can save others. 5 stars

I really like his authors writing style it kept engaging and hooked to my kindle throughout as I eagerly turned the pages, another fantastic book as always by Carla and I can’t wait for the next instalment.

Congratulations on an eye-catching cover! It caught my eye and made me read the synopsis. I devoured this in one sitting!
The characters are just so well written and realistic, the tension is built so effectively and you really do have no idea where the storyline is going or what the outcome is going to be! It has the twist, turns and surprises that you'd expect and the plot is constantly moving forward which I loved! I enjoyed every second of this one!!!
