Sadly, this book was not for me. It wasn’t holding my attention while listening and I think that’s very important for an audiobook. I may have had better luck physically reading this one. I enjoyed the narrator.

Thank you to @netgalley and @dreamscapemedia for a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
A Charming Listen with Heartfelt Moments
"Finding You" by Samantha Chase is a delightful and engaging audiobook. Narrated by the talented Carly Robins, the story flows smoothly, making it perfect for a relaxing listen during a commute or a cozy afternoon.
Chase skillfully crafts a heartwarming narrative that explores themes of self-discovery and finding love in unexpected places. The characters are well-developed and relatable, drawing readers into their lives and fostering genuine emotional connections. Robins' narration further enhances the listening experience, adding an extra layer of depth and emotion to the story.
While a charming and enjoyable listen, "Finding You" may not quite reach the heights of some of Chase's other works.

This one does not have the family Donovans as main characters but secondary but Sweetbriar Ridge is more the main character. Devin is a mechanic and his business is rolling along and he takes off for a drive. He happens to come across a stalled car and stops to see if they need help. MacKenzie is lost, really lost. Her GPS is not working, she was on her way to the West Coast and ended up in Virginia and her car stopped. Stranded on the side of the road she takes Devin's offer of assistance. The only problem is he doesn't have the parts to her car and needs to order them and there is a festival and no rooms to be found. He offers her his spare room. Love the close proximity story and these two are great together. MacKenzie fits in with Sweetbriar Ridge and helps out around the garage. Will she really leave when her car is fixed or will Devin convince her to stay since they both develop feelings.

Finding You is part of The Donovans: Sweetbriar Ridge series. This book is about Devin and MacKenzie and is told from both of their points of view.
Devin and MacKenzie meet when he finds her stranded on the side of the road. He owns an automotive repair company and offers to help fix her car. There are no hotel rooms available so he lets her stay with him, and offers her a job to help pay for the repairs.
As they are living/working together feelings start to develop. However, she plans to leave once her car is done. What happens when the car is finished. Does she continue on in her journey to find her mother who abandonded her as a kid? Or does she stay with Devin and continue on in their relationship?
I loved these two characters, and am excited to continue on in this series!

The plot offers a charming mix of romance and self-discovery, with well-drawn characters that feel relatable and genuine. Robins’ narration beautifully complements the story, adding an extra layer of emotion that draws you in from the very beginning.

This was a really cute romance novel. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters of Devin and MacKenzie. The town of Sweetbriar is also adorable with all the different people that make up the town. They just welcomed MacKenzie in and made her feel so welcomed. This a great meet cute as well. I enjoyed the dual POV from Devin and MacKenzie.

This small town, he falls first, close proximity romance was so cute! I really enjoyed listening to Carly Robbins narrate this audiobook.
I absolutely love the characters and the small town setting of this book. MacKenzie and Devin were so cute and they made me smile. This book was low on the angst and steam, but I still enjoyed it.
Carly Robbins was fantastic as always and I enjoyed visiting Sweetbriar Ridge again!
Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Devin and Mackenzie have an adorable and heart wrenching meet cute in the rain and the side of the road. She's down on her luck and he is kind and I'm need of an office worker. It's a cute story of finding line and your place in this world.

What a sweet story! I enjoyed the simplicity of it and how the characters made this town a place I'd love to visit. I could do with an old Mustang too! It was a great weekend read and I look forward to more titles in this series.

This is a standalone book set in the world of The Donovans of Sweetbriar Ridge. It is a series I have not read, but I am about to start, I did not feel lost at all and thoroughly enjoyed this sweet romance. We follow Devin Maxwell, a mechanic in Sweetbriar Ridge who is on his way home from somewhere when he runs across a broken down 1966 Mustang convertible, his dream fixer-upper. Sprawled across this car, in the pouring rain is MacKenzie Holland. MacKenzie just left her boyfriend after discovering him cheating on her, she packed up everything she could fit in her car and took off from New York to head to Oregon to reconnect with her mother. Neither of our MCs was looking for love and yet love has no timeline.
This book is a sweet love story that toes that instalove line. It basically is instalove as they fall in love within two weeks. There are no spicy scenes, but the love story is sweet and warms your heart. Though instalove is not normally something I can stand, it was done really well in this case. It was primarily characters getting to know one another in forced proximity, while one was a hot mess trying to figure out their life. It also helped that MacKenzie was getting to know plenty of other characters so she fell in love with the man, the friends, and the town itself. I would have preferred a narrator for each POV, but Robins did do a great job with her voices and giving life to all of the characters. Reading this story made me want to pick up the series this was set in. If you love a small-town summer romance this is definitely one for you. It is short, and sweet, and gives you that great summertime feel.

I adore Samantha Chase, Finding You was a quick and charming read! Devin and Mackenzie are a little bit instalove but SO easy to root for! While it can be read as a standalone, I'd highly recommend all of the Donovan series books to get to know the family and characters! Carly Robins, as always, is a phenomenal narrator. Thank you to Samantha Chase, Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for this ALC!

Audiobook. Loved the narrator! Devin and MacKenzie meet on the side of the road and ride into the sunset together... But... it takes a LOT to get them there. Fixing cars and running the office make them a great pair trying to accomplish a common goal.

After Mackenzie Holland discovers her boyfriend cheating on her, she packed up her car and headed west, intending to drive to Oregon where her mother lives. However, her classic Mustang breaks down on the side of the road, leaving her stranded. Devin Maxwell owns the lone mechanic shop in Sweetbriar Ridge, but has always dreamed of owning his own classic car and restoring it in his downtime. When he finds Mackenzie stranded on the side of the road, he offers to have her car towed and to fix it. Between the high school reunion and the upcoming festival in town, there are no rooms available nearby, and Mackenzie finds herself staying with Devin while he repairs her Mustang and working for him to help pay for the repairs. The more time the two spend together, the closer they grow.
Finding You is book 3 of a series but can be read as a standalone. This was not my favorite Samantha Chase book. I just didn’t feel the connection between the two main characters, which made it hard to invest in their relationship. Carly Robbins did a good job narrating the audiobook, but I wish they would have had a male narrator, too, for Devin’s parts.
Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an audio ARC of this book.

This was my second Sa;mantha Chase book and I really enjoyed it. This is the third installment of the Sweetbriar Ridge series. I highly recommend reading them in order because you will be able to see characters that carry over from one book to the next. This is a book about finding love after finding your boyfriend cheating on you. I loved the narrators, I loved the characters and the banter between them.

This is book 3 in the Sweetbriar Ridge series and I do recommend reading them in order so you can meet the whole family and know what's being carried over book to book. So far this is my least favorite only because its a insta love and I struggle with those types of books. And her will she stay won't me without really talking it out or doing what she really wanted I wasn't a fan of. I wish she would of just talked it out. But Its still a sweet solid read and again the audio is great!
On to the next one which I will be requesting as soon as its up on NetGalley!!
Thank you so much NetGalley for this audio-arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

First thing’s first: thank you Netgalley for the ALC of this book!
Finding You was a small town romance about the small town mechanic, Devin, who rescues out of towner Mackenzie who he finds broken down on the side of the road.
This was forced proximity, small town, sort of instalove goodness. Was I ever surprised at any point? Absolutely not. Did I have a good time? Absolutely I did. I looooove a predictable little small town romance with a well mannered MMC and a FMC who needs to be won over. This was predictable in all the enjoyable ways you expect from this type of book. It wasn’t too long, it wasn’t too crazy, it was just perfect for a summer read. I enjoyed it but will not be thinking about it in the future.
3.5⭐️

A great book about finding love after heat break after finding your boyfriend cheating on you in your apartment. While this book was great and I loved the narrators, I found that just like all other romance books, this had the same premise as every other book and had nothing new to offer. That being said, I loved the characters and the banter between them and I highly recommend this book to anybody that is looking for a book that had the love at first sight, knight in shining armor feel. A strong 4 stars.

A cute little love story. Devin reminded me of my dad with his love of cars! Slow getting into which I’m seeing is a trend of Chase’s books but very steamy and a happy ending as usual. A bit boring but I liked the readers on her audio books!

I always adore the small town of Sweet Briar, and this book is no exception. I could totally relate to everyone in town knowing your business and wanting to meet someone new. Mackenzie and Devin’s budding relationship that neither one seems to want to end even at the detriment to her car was so precious! I do love how MacKenzie’s route from New York to Oregon takes her through Virginia…Is there another New York or Oregon that I need to know about??

This was my first read by Samantha Chase, but it won’t be the last. I enjoyed the characters, it was a “light” read, and a nice escape. It is a part of a series, but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything not having read the other books in the series.
The audiobook is narrated by Carly Robbins, who I really enjoyed as a narrator. She has a pleasant voice, a nice cadence, and I could tell the difference between the characters, due to her inflection. I really enjoyed this one!
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley; all opinions are my own.
