I really enjoyed this book.
Plenty of twists and turns, I need to keep reading to find out what was happening!!
I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Angela Henry strikes again in this twist-y roller coaster of a ride story. THAT ENDING! WOW!!!!! Love this author and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Picture this, you are having the hands down worst days of your life, and a stranger gives you a way out, but at what cost? Her Pretty Lies is a solid 4 star read for me. Lots of twists to keep you interested. Overall quick and fun read.

I enjoyed that I honestly didn't know who "did it" throughout this book - between the twists and the drama, I was left wondering "wait ...what just happened?!" I personally appreciate not being able to guess how a book ends, since I'd rather be surprised and not feel like I knew what was coming. Kendall and Mackenzie are fascinating characters, and although I was hating one throughout the story, I ultimately ended up loving both of them. Kendall fought hard for what she wanted/needed, and I could tell she was going to get to the truth by the end of the novel.

This was a wild ride. All of the twists and turns kept me intrigued right until the very end. First book I've read by this author and it definitely won't be the last.

Definitely a psychological story between the lives of Mac and Kendall. The things both of them have been through and how they grew up. Shows the trials of being in their 20s and having almost everything just keep going wrong. Was intrigued to finish the story to see what would happen. However some points were confusing and figuring out all the points connected. Characters were also confusing at points.

Thank you to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for this ARC!
This was my first novel from Angela Henry and it was so twisty! I really enjoyed how cleanly the book was wrapped up. Will be picking up some of her other books to read and will recommend this to anybody who likes fast-paced quick reads!
4 stars!

What a wild ride! I knew from the first few chapters, this story was going to come together in a crazy way, and I was not disappointed. The twists this novel had in the last 25% was insane. The pacing was great, and I’m so excited to read more from this author. Can’t wait to recommend this book to friends + followers!

Woah was this book a ride! There were so many twists and turns, some I expected but some that absolutely were shocking. Our main character Kendall has her scholarship taken away from her due to legal feuds, she finds out her boyfriend is a piece of shit and then she has no place to live all in one night. How she didn’t absolutely lose her marbles I have no idea, but she's offered an alternative by another student. The only issue, that the student ends up dead.
I couldn’t trust a single character in this book because EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE had secrets, and their secrets had secrets. It was insane at points because it was hard to follow, I mean at points it was twist after twist after twist. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the plot twists, I do think that they were thrown at you all at once and you could easily get confused, I know I did. The ending wasn’t the worst, I just wasn’t really expecting the last 15% because wtf.

This book just wasn't for me. I was intrigued at first. I felt connected to Kendall, felt bad that clearly nothing was going her way. I love a book with some twists but by about 60% of the way through I was exhausted by how many twists there were. It ended up losing my attention because I didn't know who to trust or what to believe, and not in a good way.

This story gets two stars from me - one for the fact that I kept reading it even though I was tempted several times to give up. The other star is for being easy to read. Even though I had misgivings, it was so easy to just keep going.
But…and it’s a big but… the plot was just ridiculous and unbelievable particularly towards the end. It’s unnecessarily complicated and has the author turning herself inside out to tie up all the loose ends. The characters were thin and this is one of those books I will immediately forget so not worth the effort in my opinion especially when there are so many great books out there.

This book sounded so good but.... I felt disappointed. I was hoping for more. The dialogue didnt sit well with me and I began to lose interest. Maybe this wasnt the book for me.

Took a little bit to get into but felt pretty hooked about 25% into it. Best I’ve read of the genre? No. But definitely itched a scratch and would overall recommend!

Her pretty lies is a masterful psychological thriller that will captivate fans of crime fiction and true crime alike. With its compelling characters, atmospheric storytelling, and psychological insights, this book is a must-add to your reading list. The plot will keep you guessing until the very end.
I would like to thank Netgalley, Angela Henry and the publishers for sending me an ARC of the book.

I enjoyed this book. It was well written and kept me in suspense. I wanted to keep reading to know what would happen next. The twists at the end were great and I would recommend it to others.

I love a good twisty thriller, and this was no exception. This was fast paced and suspenseful. The characters were really well developed. If you’re looking for a bingeable story, this one is perfect!

I do love a good twist in a book but this one had way too many. I really did enjoy the first 75% or so but then so much was happening I was struggling to remember the characters and everything that had happened to them.

I’m not a fan of coincidences in books, and this one had several. The author clearly didn’t think of a twist she didn’t throw in there, along with a multitude of plot lines that became confusing and bogged down the story. None of the characters were particularly likeable, except perhaps Cora and Ray, and the ending went in a million different directions.
This was regrettably a miss for me, although I did read it rather quickly.

Only days ago, I had everything. A man I wanted to marry. A prestigious fellowship for graduate school. A perfect new apartment. I’m a psychology student. I should have known she was hiding something from the start… Now I’m shivering under a foil blanket wondering how my life became a nightmare. And when the paramedics check me over, it’s not concern I see on their faces. It’s fear. They think I did this. They think I killed her…
Loved it so much. It was a fun read.
Thanks to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for giving me an advance copy.

I absolutely love murder mysteries, and this one lives up to this. The writing is really nice to read, the characters were great and the atmosphere kept me interested en wanted to read more. I did not see the plot twists coming and loves them!
