Drama Fuelled..
An offer too good to refuse, an unexpected death and a suspicion of murder all combine to bring Kendall’s world crashing down around her in this drama fuelled psychological suspense with multiple layers. With a well crafted cast of characters populating an immersive and propulsive plot, twists aplenty and a, perhaps, unexpected denouement.

I loved this book so much that i read it in one sitting. I could not put it down, I had to know what would happen I definitely would recommend this book.

I feel like this had too many storylines going on at the same time and the pov's were confusing. It was told from two different pov's but the chapters didn't have the name on the top, so you literally had to guess whose pov it was.
It also was very slow and then towards the end, it picked up. I will say that the twists were good, the biggest one I did see coming but others were good.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

Lots of twists and turns in this book. It was very thrilling and addictive I can’t wait to read more by this author

Unfortunately I didn't love this one but I will say it was cleverly written and full of twists but I just didnt love it as much as I thought I would. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc.

sadly this fell a little flat for me. overall I thought it was boring and not entertaining. unlikable characters especially the FMC. i would love to check out more of this author's writing in the future, though.

After her life starts to rapidly spiral, our main character Kendall makes some decisions that hugely alter her trajectory. This book was so fun! I was invested in what was happening from the beginning and at no point did I feel like I knew what was about to happen. It had a bit of darkness to it without being too stomach churning and I would recommend it to a wide audience.
I have seen some reviews criticizing the youngness of dialogues and terminologies, but I find it to make perfect sense being about college age kids.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review. I plan to check out more of this author's books now.

This was a quick read, and full of dramatic twists. Everyone has secrets, and you never know who you can trust in this one. The beginning chapters had my full attention, but then I started to struggle as the story went on. There are multiple characters and storylines, which sometimes made things a little overwhelming and confusing. The ending was a little predictable, though I was surprised at a few creative twists!

I really enjoyed this book and will look for others by this author. It was a contemporary read with updated language (slang) and behaviors from the characters which gave it a sense of reality in todays time. The story line was rather broken up and difficult to follow, but I think that only added to the author’s intentional style for the book. I liked the characters very much and felt they were relatable. A couple of times I felt myself worrying how the main character would get herself out of the predicaments she had allowed herself to get in. Unfortunately, the author wrapped up the story with several twists and turns that just felt unrealistic and thrown in at the end. This book snags the reader’s attention right away and held it until the last page leaving the reader slightly disappointed with the ending.

This was a great, quick read. The plot kept me guessing until the very end. Would recommend to a friend and read this author in the future.

This was a fantastic thriller and one I would highly recommend! The twist and turns keep coming and I never knew what was coming. Once you get to the end you are shocked and thrown through a loop. I really enjoyed the book and would recommend!!

This book was full of twist and turns.. they kept coming! This was one of the best thrillers i have read in a long time and i couldn't put it down!

I liked this but not as much as I had expected which was weird. I will definitely have to give it a reread

I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of this book, it really kept me guessing and I could not figure out how all the characters linked up. It was absolutely full of twists and turns and even when you thought it had ended, there was still more. I just didn’t love the writing style, it annoyed me slightly. Some of the language used felt strange. Overall, a solid read with good twists and turns.

This gripping mystery thriller was my first venture into the genre and won't be my last. Angela Henry's writing had me completely hooked with its many twists and turns from start to finish. I'm eager to dive into more of her work.
My thoughts:
There were countless moments when I just wanted to scream at FMC Kendall. I mean, come on, what was she thinking? The unexpected twist with the real murderer caught me off guard, leaving a solid impression. The storytelling is genuinely enthralling, keeping you captivated and eager to uncover the complexities of the character's actions and the unfolding events.
Love Always, Catherine

If I could give this books one hundred stars, I would! There are so many twist and turns, from start to end. I loved how the characters developed throughout the story and added so many layers to the plot. I highly recommend this book for a summer read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really loved the premise of this psychological thriller and the narrative definitely has some great twists.
Our MC is Kendall, who is off to get herself through college as a psychology student through a fellowship that's available to families that need support funding. This fellowship falls through, she finds her boyfriend is cheating so she needs to find somewhere to live and sustain work to put herself through. Mac, who comes from a privileged background, overhears the trouble that Kendall is having a gives her an offer she can't refuse. Mac, will give Kendall a place to stay and payment as long as she goes into classes and poses as Mac and it could cost Kendall her place at college. Kendall then finds herself in the middle of. murder investigation and she's the prime suspect.
There's 2 POVs of this book, Kendall and an unknown voice at the beginning, both in first person. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear who the second POV is. There's a few red herrings, some great twists and foreshadowing if you are paying attention. You get a good sense of who Kendall is as a person. She's not an angel but she's not a bad person either. The pacing of the book was ok and did stall a little at the beginning 1/3 but soon picked up. The last 2/3 book was medium paced and I really enjoyed the reveal and the final plot twist.
I also listened to some of this book, which is narrated by Rachel Handshaw (Narrator) which made the book come to life
3.75 stars rounded to 4 for websites.

I loved this book, I was hooked from the very first page! Lots of twists and turns and keeps you going right the way through! 4/5 from me!
My first book from this author but certainly not my last.
