A story that kept me engaged all the way through.
Very different from what I'm used to reading but nevertheless I still enjoyed it. I finished it in one evening.
This story has it all. It's about the choices each of these characters made and the difficulty of the family that's left to deal with it.
Forgiveness is the main theme of this book. This is what kept me reading.
Very heartbreaking but one you'll rejoice with.
Very well written. I loved every minute of it.
These characters will leave you thinking about them long after the book is finished.
5 stars from me for keeping me invested from the beginning until end. I highly recommend.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
This is a good book. The author wrote well in connecting the characters. It was a suspense on not knowing what was going to happen next. The Spirit of Family was captured in this book.
Kim moves back to her hometown after an abusive relationship. she is the lone survivor of a high school tragedy. Really good read.
In the Spirit of Family, we meet three families, and who they are at the beginning of the story. Sometimes faith bring people back together or bring new people into their lives. As this happens, we see the changes taking place, because they aren't stuck anymore, they are moving on because they have no other choice, or they finally see the way things really were and want to let it go and move on.
This is a story that will take you through their journeys, what they each went through, what they each learned, and the changes that have happened. It was a wonderful story of faith, learning that you sometimes have to let someone in who will help you through a difficult situation, and sometimes believing in a spirit around you, then seeing what your life is afterward.
I received an ARC from Renee Field through NetGalley, and I really enjoyed reading this book.
