I've read every Brian Freeman novel, and obviously, am a fan. However, this book? It's something special! I devoured it- I felt a low level anxiety until the end, that's how great the action is! The love story is untraditional, but still, tugs at the heart, and I was rooting for, hoping for, Tommy and Teresa to, somehow, find a happy ending.
Just enough political, military, "behinds the scenes" mystery to be exciting and not cumbersome. Beautiful, wealthy, exotic location thrown in for color. Several interesting characters that you can care about or hate! Really an outstanding read!
