I love Eric Dowdle jigsaw puzzles, so think this would also be a cool coloring book. It's hard to evaluate a coloring book online, but I'd consider buying it if I liked to color and saw it in a store.

Thanks to Quarto Publishing and NetGalley for providing an advance review copy of this book.

I loved this book - it is a brilliant adults colouring book!

The illustrations to colour in were lovely and perfect for an adult and I love doing these as I find that they help me to relax as well as giving a great picture at the end

I liked the snippets about the different places featured too - a great little addition and a fabulous way to go around the world - by colouring

It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended

Another great coloring book for those who like real pictures they can learn as they color. Lots of great places to learn about inside.

This is definitely aimed more at the older audience. Lots of detailed drawings for you to colour in and fill your time. Best purchases with a good set of pencils and a sharpener. Hours of fun to be had.

Another fab coloring book by esteemed folk artist Eric Dowdle, including 40 pages of detailed illustrations of world cities and landmarks for you to color. A gorgeous color illustration is included with each one for example. Can't wait to try my hands at these!

Beautiful colouring book with extensive minor details throughout. I also like the information on the different cities from all across the world. There’s a lot of attention to detail throughout this colouring book for people who enjoy that sort of thing!

Like a lot of the world, I have admired and enjoyed Eric Dowdle’s artwork in other creative forms; specifically, both full and mini sized puzzles. So, naturally, a coloring book of his work was right up my alley! Really enjoyed this ARC and how it permits the reader to engage in their own expression of creativity, while having a frame of reference in the original work… also, really appreciated the little nuggets of info and facts accompanying the different landmarks and locations depicted. Many thanks to the author/artist, NetGalley, and publisher for the opportunity to review this ARC!

This is the second coloring book by Eric Dowdle that I have seen. As is true for the first one as well, Dowdle is a master craftsman. His drawings are very intricate and detailed. I think that in many ways that makes these coloring books for older kids and for adults.

This time, Dowdle takes us around the world in his folk style. For each picture, there is one colored by him alongside the one who wants to color. There are then additional coloring pages for many of the locations along with some information.

Start the tour with Amsterdam and you will want to keep going. This is truly a nice books.

Many thanks to Quarto Publishing Group and NetGalley for this title. All opinions are my own.

I'm always excited when NetGalley has adult coloring books to preview. Thanks for letting me see this one! There were several detailed pictures with ample opportunities to mix up color schemes. I think Prague and Mexico City were my favorites, but there were several great ones. The only complaint I have is that it has places around the world but most of these are European or American. But definitely worth getting if you love adult coloring books

This colouring book stands out with its combination of mandala-styled patterns, cityscapes with impressive landscapes, silhouettes and situations. The coloured versions look lovely too.

This is a colouring book for all the family to enjoy. Discover the world through Eric Dowdles intricate and whimsical art whilst also learning some interesting facts about the places shown within. You can let your own creativity flourish on the blank versions of Eric’s art.

I really enjoyed this fun coloring book! Each page has so much detail. I love that one side has a colored picture and the other side is black and white for coloring. The coloring book is full of so many great places to visit! A travel book and coloring book in one! Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys Dowdle artwork!

This is the third or fourth book in this collection that I have looked at for the purpose of a review, so I am going to sound heavily repetitive here. But if you haven't read a review of mine, then this will be new information, and in truth my review for these is very similar between them all.

I found this was an interesting colouring book concept, and that the illustrations that go with each location were amazing and so detailed. There are so many things to see and find in each one. The text was well balanced, and it's evident that Dowdle has based his artwork on his own experiences. I appreciated that most locations included a country or similar, but it was odd that some, like Rio did not.

I do think that, as a colouring book, the pages that represent the actual art are harder or less engaging as colouring pages per se. But they do have complete lines to separate out parts of the illustration which makes for clear colour delineations. There is nothing worse than the colouring books that just forget to end lines so that things flow into one another and you have to either pen in a line or flow the colours into one another in a messy way. And the pages that are unique to the book that follow a more filled pattern style are really good pages for colouring with many colours and still reflecting the location.

Definitely a good colouring book and I certainly enjoy the originals. It would be one of those colouring books that you colour and keep.

Beautiful images rendered in exquisite detail, this would be great for both colouring enthusiasts and casual hobbyists aged 12 and up. I loved the facts about each city that accompanied the images and contributing to the sense of atmosphere, and I love the vibrant colours used in the inspiration pictures. Would make a great gift.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Perfect for those who love travel and coloring! Eric Dowdle is famous for his folk-art style and now, many of those beautiful pictures are available as a coloring page. These are ideal for those who appreciate a lot of detail. There are 40 pictures from various locations around the world. Each picture includes people enjoying the moment, bringing the picture to life beyond the scenic view. The original picture is provided in color, for those who enjoy a reference. A few of the locations provide an extra page or two for coloring, but most are a singular picture. Of all the books in the series, this one is perhaps my favorite because there are so many locations and cultures represented.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.

The illustrations in this book are absolutely stunning and I loved the bright colours used. I thought it was great that a wide variety of places from around the world were featured. I really enjoyed that the original illustration is provided on the left hand side of the page so you can refer to it whilst filling in the drawing on the right hand side. This takes away the decision fatigue of choosing colours which I often come across whilst filling out these types of books.

However, the designs were slightly too busy for my taste and I think I would get bored before I finished a design. This is purely personal preference and I am the type of person who would want to be able to finish a drawing in one sitting however I know there are people out there who love to take the time to fill out an intricate design and they would love this.
