Both characters had a lot of ups and downs within their friend and dating life. This story was super slow and didn’t pick up until more than half way in. At times it didn’t seem like the girls liked each other and only tolerated each other because they worked together. These women the women are very juvenile when they are in there 30s. The story was simple ok and often lacked depth. I definitely will try this author again. Thank you for the ARC.

Mya and Alize had a lot of up and downs in their friendship & dating life. The story really didn’t pick up for me until I was about sixty percent in. The friends shaded each other a lot in this book and to be women in their late 30s they made men their whole lives especially Mya. I was rooting for Alize because she did seem to be a good mom but she definitely had a lot of issues going on with her kids father. Mya was just plain unlikeable to me and her thought process seemed more like a 20 something year old woman instead of a well established attorney. The story was okay overall but it didn’t have much depth, but others may enjoy it more. Thankful for the complimentary copy from the author and publishing company and all opinions are my own.

Talk about Dumb and Dumber smh , Mya is so selfish and as smart as she is , she is D🙄ck dumb. She too desperate that’s exactly why she is in the predicament that she is in. The way her & Alize act towards each other, Chile Best Friends? More like frenemies , I guess keep your enemies closer 😂! Alize was desperate as well 🫠 they was doomed from the start! They both need to take some alone time for themselves because ain’t no way 😩!
