“Maybe I finally have something worth dreaming about.”

This was so much fun! I don’t like too much suspense or mystery but this was light and fun. As you could guess, this has Cinderella themes throughout.

I love a strong female lead and Theresia Dvorak lives up to that. She has courage and strength but can still let her knight in shining armor save her.

Rolland Reese is sweet and had the courage from the beginning to choose love over duty.

I highly recommend this one and all of Annekas in this series!

Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the ARC!

This was a delight! Rolland and Theresia are ADORABLE! 🥰

This Cinderella retelling was perfect and so much more! I liked reading more about Bohemia and some of the poor treatment of Romas. I know when my husband lived in Europe even in the 2000s, there was still prejudice against them.

The murder mystery was fun. I do wish more action started earlier. Seemed like the urgency really died when they were at the house party when you would think the forced proximity and more opportunities for the murderer to act would take a lot more than 3 weeks? (Just an estimate).

I liked how brave Theresia was and now she was a woman of action. And happy she’ll have family and friends after years of solitude.

Anneka is an auto-read/auto-buy author and this book confirms it. Love this enchanted regency world.

I received an e-arc from the publisher and Net Galley. This book is available now. It can be read as a stand alone but reading in order is more fun as past characters are in the books.

These are my own thoughts and opinions.

Please, do judge this book by its beautiful cover! This is certainly a creative, clean and entertaining story dealing with mystery, with an unusual twist to the Cinderella story! Theresia's stepmother has stolen a precious vase, made by and given to Theresia by her talented glassblowing father before his death, as her dowry. She is assisted by Captain Rolland in her search for the vase, and agrees to assist in his search a spy, while agreeing to pretend to have another identity. Keep up with all the story twists and look for a happy-ever-after satisfying ending!
I appreciate being able to read this advanced reader copy of the book, and the opinions expressed are my own.

Who doesn't love a fairy tale? Fairy tales have a special charm, and The Lady Glass offers a fresh take on the classic Cinderella story, set in the Regency era. This is the third book in the Enchanted Regency Romance series, blending romance with a touch of mystery.

The plot centers around Theresia Dvorak, the daughter of a skilled glassmaker. Her late father left her a beautiful crystal vase as a dowry, but her stepmother takes it and sells it. Determined to retrieve her treasured vase, Theresia uses her violin talent to gain entry to a ball and plans her search from there.

Meanwhile, Rolland Reese serves as a Naval Captain on a secret mission to uncover a potential murderer and traitor to England. When Theresia and Rolland cross paths repeatedly, their chemistry is undeniable, leading to amusing and awkward situations.

This novel captivates with its intriguing mystery, engaging dialogue, a strong heroine, and a protective hero. The Lady Glass is an enchanting tale filled with unexpected twists, delightful nods to Cinderella, and a romantic mystery that will keep you captivated from start to finish.

This book had so many things I love:
- a regency-ish setting
- loose fairy tale retelling (cinderella which is my fav!)
- clean romance
- forced proximity
- murder mystery subplot
- slow burn

Such a fun, entertaining read!

I absolutely love Theresia's character! She is so full of passion, she knows who she is and what she wants and won't let anyone stand in her way to get it. Not even Captain Rolland. Which is a good thing that he has decided to help her in her quest. This is such a fun story with so many twists and turns with unexpected scenarios that you just can't help reading into the night.

This was a beautiful reimagined Cinderella story! I loved the characters and truly enjoyed the storyline. I loved the glass part of the story! Perfect for our favorite glass slippered Princess! This author always writes stories with heart and soul. I always fall in love with her male leads as well really understand the female leads. I was super impressed with this book! Enjoy!

Really cute Cinderella story with a satisfying ending. This is the third in a series of enchanted regency romances, but they are unconnected and can be read alone.

Theresia Dvorak’s dad was a famous Bohemian glassblower. He made her a beautiful vase intended for her dowry, but her stepmom took everything from her and made her leave home when he died. Theresia wants to reclaim the valuable and sentimental vase because it’s all she has from her father. She is bold and courageous as well as foolish in her efforts to look for it, meeting Captain Rolland Reese in the process. There’s a traitor in their midst causing the death of prominent people so Theresia disguises herself as Lady Glass in an effort to solve the mystery and find the vase.

I loved the fun ties to Cinderella including a wicked stepmother, stepsister, godfather (rather than godmother), and glass shoes. It is a clean romance with a little talk of violence and a happy ending. Thanks to Covenant Communications and NetGalley for an advance digital copy to use for my review.

I loved this book! I am usually a fan of fairly tale retellings, and I loved the Regency Era setting of this one. I loved seeing all the parts that I could connect to the traditional Cinderella, and I loved that this story had a mystery as well. And I did not figure out whodunit until it was revealed in the story (although I had a couple suspicions that were correct, but I wasn’t sure in my guesses), and I love that!

A Cinderella story with a dash of mystery set in the Regency era. Mix a determined heroine, a dashing hero, and a plot filled with intrigue, you get a story that offers readers an enchanting escape.

The only thing Theresia Dvorak wants is her dowry: a priceless crystal vase, left to her by her father; but it's been stolen by her step-mother and Theresia will do anything to get it back, including getting herself hired to play violin at a house party where the person who has the vase is supposed to be.

Rolland Reese is a Naval captain recently returned from the war injured. He and his friends have planned to host a house party to root out the culprit threatening his father's life, when he crosses paths with Theresia she becomes a part of their scheme.

This is the third book in the Enchanted Regency Romances and it's my favorite!! Cinderella is my favorite fairytale and I loved all the little nods to the story while remaining its own unique story. The scheming step-mother, a godfather that suddenly appears when needed, a lost slipper, and more. I loved Theresia and Rolland! Both are great characters on their own, but together they get an A+ in chemistry.

Things I loved:
*Secret identity
*Murder mystery
*Flirty banter
*Bedchamber scenes
*Dual POV
*Swoony hero
*Nods to Cinderella

This book is a delightful blend of historical romance and mystery, with a strong-willed heroine and a gallant hero. Note: You do not have to read the other books in the Enchanted Regency Romance series to enjoy this book. All can be read as standalones.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions in this review are my own.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a review. These are my honest thoughts.

This book was clean( there was a fortune telling in it).

I was completely hooked and pulled into this story from the beginning! I loved everything about it and didn't want it to end. If you're a fan of fairytale retellings, and Cinderella, you're going to want to grab this one. There's suspense and mystery amidst what you already know of Cinderella's story. There's even a Godfather who shows up in unexpected moments and in unexpected ways. He's the best!

The thrill of the chase and search with the beautiful love story throughout the story was perfection! This is my favorite book from Anneka Walker! I always look forward to reading her books but this one tops them all! It is the third book in her Enchanted Regency Romances but can be read as a standalone. I did love seeing the characters from the previous books in this one. I always love when we get to see favorite characters again!

The cast of characters was well developed and I loved how I kept guessing trying to figure out whodunnit. Can you figure out who it is?

The sweet love story was wonderful! I loved Theresia and Rolland! Happy Sigh for sure!!! Get ready to be swept away in mystery, romance, family and friendship! You're going to love it all!!!

Content: Clean. Some mild moments of peril, some deaths, nothing more than a few sweet kisses.

I received a copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

A sweet Regency Era retelling of Cinderella. I loved the way Ms Walker was able to tell Cinderella's story while making it her own. Theresia is a fun and spunky main character. Rolland is a dashing witty partner for her. I liked the dual POV as well as the mystery they work together to solve. I didn't realize this was part of a series, but I will go find the other two books. This one can be read as a stand alone novel.

I enjoyed this Regency retelling of Cinderella. I loved how the story kept elements of the fairytale we love but it was also its own unique story. I loved how their was a mystery that needed solving and how involved Theresia was in helping solve the mystery. I also liked how the romance between Theresia and Rolland developed and that they were able to find a lasting love together even though it was unexpected. I would recommend this story.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

This was such a unique way to retell the fairytale Cinderella. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters and seeing how they grew. It was so fun to see their relationship change throughout the book. I loved this book so much and I couldn’t put it down!! Highly recommend!!
Also, seeing previous characters literally made my day.

Anneka R. Walker’s newest release, The Lady Glass, is a delightful read with the perfect amount of romance and suspense. It’s a regency fairy tale retelling of Cinderella with a bit of spy work which makes it so fun to read.

Theresia and Rolland had perfect chemistry. After a sweet first meeting, mischief abounds with these two. Climbing into windows, hiding under beds, and sneaking in and out of the estate are just a few things that put Theresia into situations that require Rolland’s assistance. I laughed multiple times reading this one. And we can’t forget the banter. It was superb. These two make quite the pair.

What I really loved about the book was how unique it was. Theresia with her Czech background. The glassblowers and the importance of the glass vase. I have never read anything with these fun elements, and I absolutely adored it. Anneka brought to life this little piece of history, and I soaked it up.

The Lady Glass is the perfect read for anyone who loves fairy tale retellings, spies, the best banter, and fast friends. It is the third installment in the Enchanted Regency series, but can be read as a standalone. I have yet to read the first two, but added them to my list after enjoying this one so much.

Thank you to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for the advanced copy. These thoughts are my own.

I was so excited to find this one, as I didn't realize "The Masked Baron" was part of a series! I'll most definitely be searching out the second book after finishing this.

The chemistry between our two main characters is delightful. If anyone is familiar with Sarah M. Eden's "A Fine Gentleman", this book's characters gave me very similar vibes- at least at the beginning. Straightlaced Rolland and regularly recurring cat-thief Theresia ... so much fun. Their banter is top-notch. I'm also a sucker for Regency intrigue, and the two mysteries woven in kept my attention - and made the plot unique.

Normally, I shy away from Cinderella tales. The angst is just too much for me. I made an exception here though, as I trust Ms. Walker to end well -- and she does. She really does. I recommend this book for all Regency readers who enjoy a touch of something more in their books. Thank you, Netgalley and Publisher, for the advance copy of this title. All opinions expressed are my own.

Cinderella has always been my favorite fairy tale. I loved this retelling. It's very different than I expected, but in a good way. Theresia and Rolland had a few interesting encounters. I really enjoyed their relationship. This book was full of intrigue and moments of peril that kept you guessing. I loved the glass blowing and Roma aspects of this tale. They were a fun addition.

This is a fun series. I enjoyed seeing friends from previous books. I can see this being the end, but I hope there will be more.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through Netgalley, and this is my honest review.
