Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this Advanced Reader’s Copy of The Family Trip by Daniel Hurst due to be published May 31, 2024.
Donovan and Rosalind seem to have the perfect family – two beautiful children, a nanny, and are rich beyond all. They book a trip to Ireland to find Shannon – she has the power to shatter their perfect family. When Rosalind’s plan for revenge goes awry and Barnaby, their son, goes missing, what will they do? She thought she was the one in control, but obviously is not!
I love Daniel Hurst’s books – they are easy to read, easy to follow and keep up with the characters, and are very enthralling. The Family Trip was no exception. I read it in one day and I was hooked from page one. It was thrilling, addictive, and “unputdownable”. Each chapter left you hanging so you wanted to keep reading to see what happened next. The ending was “WOW”!
This is my 35th book by Daniel Hurst – he is one of my favorite authors! Can’t wait to read his next book!

If you love Freida McFadden or any of the psychological thriller female authors books than you will love Daniel Hurst. I have read almost all his work and this book and The Doctors Wife Series are his best.

Many twists and turns make this story an edge of your seat type thriller. I couldn't put this book down once I started. A definite recommend. While you wait for this to come out check out Daniels other work you won't be disappointed.

Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this arc in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and isn't influenced by anyone else

Daniel is fast becoming one of my favourite authors, and has a huge back catalogue! I devoured this book, it's so good! Shannon is escorting Donovan and Rosalind and their son around her home town of Ireland. But nothing is what is seems. The American couple are so unlikeable at times, just what are they hiding, and is Shannon hiding something too? You will have to read it to find out! A rollicking good read! I'm off to tackle Daniel's other novels now!

I'm always ready for a release by this author. He's the male version of Freida McFadden for me - known for his epic twists and popcorn thriller vibes where you just wonder where this story is going and what will be revealed next.

Some of the major plot twists had my jaw on the floor and I couldn't wait to turn page after page! Personally, I think his work and Freida's work is best listened to via audiobook, but I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one that I read it over the weekend! Please put this one on Hoopla and Libby once it's released!

Thank you to the author, netgalley and publisher for the arc in exchange for a fair and honest review!

Daniel Hurst does it again with The Family Trip. As always, this one is a page turner that you won't be able to put down. In my opinion, this is Daniel's best book to date, and does not disappoint.

The characters are so well written, and so is the plot. I was pulled in from the very first page, on the edge of my seat, and unable to put it down.

I thought that I had it all figured out, and boy was I wrong!!!!

Daniel Hurst has done it again with The Family Trip which, in my humble opinion, is possibly his best yet. Clear your day because you will not want to put this one down!

Shannon is an Irish tour guide who dreams of expanding into a travel business of her own. So when a wealthy American couple reach out offering an absurd amount of money for her to design a unique and memorable itinerary for their upcoming trip to the Emerald Isle, the opportunity is too good to pass up. But, of course, we all know that when something seems too good to be true, it usually is.

This one kept me riveted from beginning to end, with several twists and bombshell reveals that had me reeling. If you have not yet read this brilliant and prolific author, this is a great place to start.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for an ARC.

For sure my favorite book by Daniel Hurst. While i did have the plot figured out very early, the ending threw me for a loop. Shannon is a travel agent in Ireland. A couple from the USA reaches out to her for a private tour. But they have a hidden agenda. What is it? Will everyone survive? Loved it. Powered through it. I really hope there is a sequel!

The Family Trip is a nail-biter with some clever plot twists.

Donovan and Rosalind take a family trip to Ireland under the pretense of spending time away with their 8-year-old child, however, what they have planned is far more sinister.

This is a great tale that you’ll be hard pressed to put down. Cancel your day and get cozy with this addicting thriller. You’ll love it.

Thank you, NetGalley and Bookouture for the advanced copy.

Once again Daniel Hurst does it again!!!!
Shannon is a tourist leader that gives people tours. She has an opportunity to help a couple tour Ireland for $20K her sense tells her she shouldn't do it and this couple isnt who they seem to be. Should she do this or should she turn them down? The twists and turns are amazing and he never disappoints!

Thanks NetGalley for letting me read and review

A family vacation with the nanny and their son to Ireland...talk about fun...well...talk about a page turner...surprises and red herrings...Hurst, a talented author, kept me on the edge of my seat. My goodness...this was suspenseful from the beginning. I did guess why the couple wanted to find Shannon, the woman planning their vacation...but this author had more in store for me. I was shaking my head and wondering what next???? The title of this book is so "innocent", but what is in store for the reader is actually somewhat frightening, especially in the world this family lived in. Can't give away any more...Read it...Thanks Netgalley.
