She's an enforcer.

I liked that Erin was the enforcer. She's a shifter protector.
Noah is a wolf shifter who is entangled with Erin.
Set in New Orleans, this is a fast paced, action packed, steamy read.
With shifters, drama and secrets.

I really enjoyed this story and it is another great read from Katie Reus!

I found that the story was really well written and it was certainly a book that had me hooked - I loved the shifter storyline.

It was romantic and sexy, a totally addictive read that I didn't want to put down.

The book had plenty of action, romance and it was a sexy read!

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended and can't wait for the next book!

Wasn’t a big fan of this book in the series. I felt as though there wasn’t really any substance and real plot to the book compared to the others in the series. The other books were amazing and were rated 4s and 5s but this one just didn’t meet my expectations

I was delighted to get to read Avenger's Heat by Katie Reus, the latest book in her Moon Shifter Series. One of the things I absolutely love about her books is that you can just pick one up and read it even if you haven't read the others in the series. Yes, there are some things here and there that you won't immediately know about, but she is so good at those little reminders of previous plots and who the characters are that you can still enjoy the heck out of each book. Of course, if you read them in order, the story has more depth and richer details, but don't let that stop you from picking this one up!

Erin and Noah's relationship has been teased for several books, so I was super ready to read this one. I love seeing how Erin has grown and healed and is now ready to kick butt. As she takes on her first assignment as an enforcer and is accompanied by Noah, we also get to see the main characters from a few of the other books and how their relationships continue to evolve.

It was really fun to see Erin come into her own and I loved how her relationship with Noah just blossoms in this book. I cannot wait for the next installment of the Moon Shifters!

Thank you KR Press and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

A big thank you to NetGalley and KR Press for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, and is a reissue from 2014. This reads well as a stand alone. This is Erin and Noah's story. There are multiple stories within the book. I liked the main characters Erin and Noah, and basically all the characters. There are a lot of names to remember-so I guess that could get confusing. Female shifters are disappearing and Erin is sent in to investigate. There is quite a bit of violence. Overall, an enjoyable read. 4 stars

Avenger's Heat is the fourth book in the Moon Shifters series. I loved Noah and Erin together - as an Enforcer, Erin is strong and powerful and doesn't need Noah to protect her. As partners, they have to learn to work together and trust in each other's abilities. As mates, Erin needs to accept the protective nature of Noah's wolf and Noah needs to balance the instincts of a mate with the knowledge that she doesn't need his protection. The story is action-packed as they work together with the vampires and fae to figure out who is kidnapping pregnant shifters. Another great read by Katie Reus! I can't wait for the next in this series!

I love Katie Reus, and the Moon Shifter series is one of my favorites! I accidentally read Avenger's Heat before the first 3 books, but I felt like I was still able to figure out the overall feeling of the series as well as all important information.

It's well written, fun, and sexy.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy through Net Galley of Avenger's Heat . This story is so much more than a paranormal suspense romance . Shifter Erin Flynn was saved by Noah Campbell last year after a brutal attack . Now she's an Enforcer protecting shifters . They both are attracted to one another but Erin has secrets she's not willing to share . She tries holding back her feelings and secrets from Noah . They head to New Orleans to solve a case of missing shifters and soon they find Erin's past is involved and coming for her . This story is outstanding . It's action packed and intriguing . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Erin has been trying to hold Noah at arm's length ever since he saved her life a year ago. Their feelings for each other have been steadily growing and he's convinced that she's meant to be his mate, but she knows she can never be the one he deserves. As an enforcer on her first assignment, she's tasked with finding whoever's been kidnapping pregnant shifters in New Orleans and it becomes even more difficult to avoid Noah when he's assigned to go with her. Especially when the case ties to her secret past and his protective instincts kick in.
Erin has become such a strong character since the previous book when she was found beaten near to death. I enjoyed reading how she worked through her first case and followed the clues to find the culprits. Her past was heartbreaking and I love how Noah accepts her for exactly who she is. The action starts out from the first page, the pacing of the story was good, and the tension between Erin and Noah kept me turning pages to see why she kept turning him down. I'm so happy for their HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really enjoy Katie Reus because if you have read one book you have a general idea of what will happen. The best part is how she creates a world that characters comes to life from one story to the next. Each book can be read as a stand alone or enjoyed as part of a series. Either way new years and old will not be disappointed.

A really lovely romance, and I was hooked from page 1. Erin was a great heroine, and it's impossible not to love Noah. They are great together even though Erin keeps pushing him away. There was lots of action and excitement here, which I appreciated. I was so happy to see them finally find their happiness. I so enjoy this series!

I have read many Katie Reus books from several of her series, all action packed, page turners with fantastic characters. However, I came late to the game in the series and read this as a stand alone. But no problem. It was easy to fill in the blanks.

There are two new couples in this book, though I inferred that they were in earlier books. Noah, currently of the Armstrong-Cordona pack, had found Erin Flynn the previous year, badly beaten and close to death, behind a dumpster and she was adopted in by the pack. He knew she was destined to be his mate, but he has been giving her time to heal. Now she is the newest enforcer of the North American shifter Council, and has been sent on assignment to New Orleans to investigate the disappearance of pregnant sifters. Noah is sent with her. His father is the Alpha shifter of New Orleans and they have been estranged. Briana, a fae, and Angelo a shifter have also been sent to investigate. By the time the complicated investigation is complete, there are 2 new couples, a bunch of dead shifters and vamps, a family reconciliation and a new case for Book 5.

The characters are likeable, the plot intriguing and the dialogue engaging. If you like fast paced, page turning fantasy, then you want to grab this book. I read an Advanced Reaser's Copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.com. This is my honest, non bias and voluntary review.

A year ago, Noah found Erin behind a dumpster, beaten and close to death. He knew then she was his, but he kept the knowledge to himself. A year later he is assisting Erin, now an enforcer for the North American Councils of Lupine Shifters. Pregnant shifters are going missing in New Orleans, the territory of Noah’s father. NOLA is home to a myriad of paranormals – shifters, vamps and more. Erin and Noah know they need to tread carefully, but time is running out to find the missing women and discover just who is behind the abductions and why.

Ms. Reus is great at writing strong women characters. Despite some PTSD issues Erin carries from her attack, she’s confident in a fight, smart and able to hold her own. The relationship with Noah works because he understands her. His protective instincts are in high gear, but he keeps them well in check. He lets her take the lead in the field. The underlying need he has for her is always there, though and adds an extra layer to the story.

Whether it’s romantic suspense or paranormal romance, Katie Reus creates characters that are interesting and engaging, that have both strength and empathy, characters I would love to get to know better. Her stories hit the ground running and gain traction and intensity quickly. Once started they don’t stop. This book is no exception and is a wonderful addition to the series.

First I would like to thank Author Collective 20 for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the story of Erin, newest enforcer for the North American shifter Council, and Noah, member of the Armstong-Cordona pack and Erin's savior. When Erin is given her first enforcer assignment they send her with Noah as the investigation is in New Orleans, Noah's hometown and father's territory. As they work together to figure out who is kidnapping pregnant shifters they both are forced to deal with issues from the past and their growing attraction for each other.

What I Loved:
- Trauma, Erin has lived through a LOT of trauma and I just liked how she was able to actually face it including telling Noah everything
- New Orleans, I loved that the city was a bit of a haven for all supernatural beings who live in more or less harmony since it really represents the city as a whole
- Brianna, as a fae I just enjoy the perspective of another type of being throughout the story as she is not only helping but building a relationship with her own shifter, Angelo
- Noah, he is a warrior shifter that has cared for Erin from the first day they met and is willing to to just about anything she needs to feel in control except deny her feelings for him and their connection

Overall this was a great addition to an already good romantic suspense series. It has all the best elements with big city drama, new shifters, interesting mystery and a slow burn romance that I couldn't get enough of. If you are in the market for a shifter romance with unique paranormal elements, great characters, suspense and a redemption arc then I would absolutely recommend this book.

watch out world theres a new enforcer in town.....

Erin Flynn was the new enforcer and she was out on her first mission with noah as back up... not that she needed any help but the company was good to have

pregnant shifters were being abducted and nobody was saying anything... until one turned up nearly more dead than alive and once she was questioned it only made it more puzzling....

why would pregnant shifters be bled..... what was so special about their blood and who was doing it....the vamps were saying and nobody knew who was behind it...

but erin was about to meet her past and it wasnt going to be good

wow what a storyline and to finally find out what had happened to erin and why.... its gripping stuff....

4.5 stars. I really enjoyed this one. Erin is one tough cookie! I love her character. She has been through so much yet she still has a soft, vulnerable side. Don’t tell her I said that though lol. As a new enforcer it is her job to be strong and bada$$ which she is amazing at whether in human or wolf form. And Noah, well that sexy wolf wants all of her. A powerful alpha, he and Erin have been partners at work and make a great team. But he loves her and wants her as his mate and will not stop until he has her. Even though she has feelings for him, she is holding back because she fears he will not want her if he knows everything about her. I like how their love story rides shotgun to the heinous things happening to the pregnant shifters in New Orleans and they manage to still be locked in on their jobs and finding the bad guys but are getting closer at the same time. Everything going on totally ropes you in from finding the kidnapper/killers to the anticipation of a mating between Noah and Erin. Very entertaining!

The Moon Shifter series by Katie Reus is my favorite of all her series. It was even better that Reus took the story to one of my favorite cities, New Orleans. I am a huge fan when the lead female character has her own strength. Erin doesn't need Noah but the two complement one another.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am a big fan of Romance books and I found this one to be a very enjoyable read. I will be looking for more books from this author.

Erin is on her first solo assignment as an enforcer for the council. She doesn’t believe she will find love with anyone because of her past. Noah knows Erin is his mate, but he is happy to be with her in any way she allows him. He knows she has reasons for keeping him at arm’s length. When they are sent to New Orleans to investigate a number of bad things happening in town their feelings finally lead them to act on them. Will they finally become the mated couple they are meant to be or will they remain firmly in the friend zone?
Noah has to deal with some family tension and come to terms with his own actions and their consequences. I like how the author dealt with Noah returning to the area his family controls. It explains a lot about Noah and his choices to be part of another pack. Erin has a pretty heartbreaking backstory. The author seamlessly wove Erin’s story in with the reason they are in New Orleans. I felt like Noah and Erin earned their relationship by the end. I thought the author made a good choice to introduce more information about the paranormal world. I’m looking forward to learning more in future stories.
I’m still not sure how a person as small as Erin is also the strongest and fastest individual in a fight. I had trouble picturing her being the winner when she was up against bad odds. I do like that the author was clear that as Erin gets older and gets more practice she will become very strong.
This is a paranormal romance with mystery and danger elements. It takes place primarily in New Orleans. This story includes a storyline about pregnant women being abducted for nefarious reasons. It might be upsetting to some readers. I didn’t think this installment packed the emotional punch of the prior stories which surprised me given the topics included in the story. I still thought the story was very enjoyable and well written. I will read more from this author in the future.
