Loved, loved, loved this book, such an amazing read. I was hooked all the way through.
I saved this one especially for when I was visiting Torquay.
Iso as you know this is set in Torquay where Rena lives and works at the Princess Theatre and also pining for her friend, Dylan, who she'd really like to be more than a friend. In desperation she signs up for a dating app that promises to find her love in 24 hours but what she didn't bargain for was that she would have to relive the same 24 hours until she found her love. Alongside her best friend, Nat, Rena has all kinds of experiences as she tries to find her soulmate

When I read- escape to Torquay in the blurb for this book, I knew I had to read it. Having spent several good times in Torquay I was intrigued by it's subject. It was a light hearted enjoyable easy to read story

I thought this was a great summer read.

Rena is in love with her close friend Dylan, but it’s sadly unrequited. When he gets engaged at a party, heartbroken Rena decides she needs to try dating sites. When an ad pops up on her phone for a dating site that promises to find her true love in 24 hours, she decides she’s got nothing to lose and signs herself up, and then signs up her female friend Nat

What Nat doesn’t realise is that she and Nat are now going to relive the next day on a loop, Groundhog style, until they both find true love.

The setting in Torquay was lovely, and Rena is a really likeable character.

One Day to Fall in Love is a sweet romance novel with a time-loop theme, which surprisingly I loved! Stuck in the same 24-hour day our main character Rena and her friend Nat have to find their true love otherwise they won't be able to continue with their days as normally they would.

Not only was the story interesting to me, but the writing of Molly James is comparable to butter as it is so smooth and easy to enjoy. As for me, it is a perfect pick for a beach read this summer! A bit of magic, lots of love, and true friendship. What more can you ask for?

If you're looking for the perfect book to take on vacation and read under an umbrella, this is the best choice. It's a romantic treat that never bores, thanks to the author's careful choice of language. Just the right amount of witty, it's a gem to save for those days when you're feeling a bit down and need something to lift your spirits.

The story is unique. The protagonist is in love with her best friend, who doesn't seem to reciprocate (though it's worth noting that he's unaware of her feelings). After trying multiple times to get over her love for her best friend, Rena comes across an app that promises to find true love within twenty-four hours. Rena gives it a shot, encouraged by the enthusiastic claims of the app until she discovers that those twenty-four hours are just the repetition of the same day until the right man shows up. Naturally, Rena will try everything to solve this problem...

I found the plot extremely interesting, with the right amount of cliché balanced by many original ideas, ensuring the story isn't dull or too predictable. The characters are very funny, well-crafted, and engaging to follow in their actions and emotions. A significant plus is that the story doesn't focus solely on the main romantic relationship. Instead, the narrative structure allows the reader to "take a break" from the romance to explore other relationships, particularly those based on friendship and self-discovery. Different types of love are depicted, such as familial love, friendship, self-love, and romantic love. This approach broadens the book's appeal beyond just romance enthusiasts.

There are many points for reflection and numerous subplots that are as captivating as the protagonist's search for love. My favorite subplot involves Rena and her father—touching and highly emotional, crafted with the care of someone truly dedicated to creating a comprehensive work.

I highly recommend this novel to anyone looking for an entertaining read that can make you smile.

This was a sweet romance book with a Groundhog Day concept. The fact that the day keeps repeating can easily get tiresome, but I think the author managed to keep the tension and anticipation of who our fmc would end up with. The characters was well-developed and the book was quick to read. A cute summer book to devour at the beach

I’m still thinking about this story a few weeks and several books later.

A do over of the same day book sounds like it could get really repetitive but this one absolutely didn’t. As much as this book is about finding love I think my favourite thing was how Rena was able to reconnect with her dad.

This is one of those books that you read with a smile on your face the whole time. The moment I and Rena realised everything clicked into the place at the end was so satisfying.

The blurb on this pulled me in, sounded like a romantic Groundhog Day. I found it a slow builder, once Rena met Jamie the tension picked up and I really enjoyed it.

I read this in two sittings, started two weeks ago and got really intrigued but real life got in the way and then read the rest today all at once. Rena is a fun female lead, relatable but not over the top. All the characters in this are actually realistic which just made them that much believable.

Not sure why but I kept thinking she'd end up with Ravi. Although I really like who she did end up with, I also almost feel cheated a bit, but maybe the author did that intentionally to throw me/us of the track :) I loved loved loooved all the Agatha Christie information nuggets, everything to do with the theater and the Pavilion. Specially loved her relationship with her dad, that even made me tear up a bit at the end.

This is actually a quick easy, romantic read, perfect for summer days on the beach or curled up with a book somewhere.

This book was sooooo slow!! I got to 1/5 on the way through, and literally nothing happened; basically what happened could easily be condensed into 1 paragraph without losing any detail. I didn’t finish this book as I got bored waiting for something, anything, to happen. The premise was good, but the story needed a good geeing up

A very enjoyable book about a magical romance app that promises to find love in a day by replaying the same day over and over, although initially they didn't know this!

Rena is in love with her male best friend, although he's in love with someone else and doesn't know, and after some disastrous dates trying to get over him she decides one late night to sign up to a dating app that promises love in 24 hours... but it's not quite as it seems! As it seemed so good she also signed up her female best friend as a gift, so once they find out the same day keeps repeating itself they work on it together - after falling out for a while! - to get the best outcome for both of them, and actually move on to the next day, but this won't happen until they get it right.

Quite a funny book, with lots of things going on, trying to figure out what will be the best option or place to be to find this 'love in 24 hours'.

A very enjoyable, lighthearted read with a lovely ending.

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of this storyline. Rena is stuck in a 24 hour loop until she finds true love and has accidentally signed her best friend up to the same fate. Every day she tries something different to try and escape from her groundhog day.

The book has a fun, light-hearted and modern feel to it. If you're looking for an easy read romance, this is definitely the book for you.

Rena is fed up with her love life. She is in unrequited love with someone who only sees her as a friend and so she follows an advert for an online dating site that promises her she will find love within 24 hours. She signs up her best friend Nat as well who to her chagrin and against all better knowledge clings to cheating boyfriend Mark. There is just one problem with the small print - they now have to relive the same 24 hours over and over until they both find love. Yep, it's Groundhog Day Revisited.

Magical realism seems to be popping up everywhere at the moment, to varying success - mermaids, time travel, afterlife shenanigans, towns from novels coming to life and now a time loop of the same 24 hours.

However, I'm happy to report, the concept really works here. After the initial shock, Rena actually uses the time to fix some bad dating habits, find love then try to get that person to fall in love with her time and time again until the loop resolves, and when there is a lull with that, she reconnects and spends time with her fickle Dad, tries to prevent a broken leg, takes revenge on Mark or just has a good time with Nat.

This is such a breath of fresh air. The characters are fantastic and the story well-rounded and interesting, bringing Rena's work in a cinema into it as well. I never lost interest, in fact I couldn't put it down. It highlighted how difficult it is to sort the wheat from the chaff when looking for love and how much of it is pure chance. It deals with all the motivations for and pitfalls of going online dating, and also why some people can't break up with people that aren't good for them or accept someone isn't for them because they have invested so much time already and simply don't want to be alone.

I loved how Rena repaired the relationship with her old rocker Dad, once she got over the thought he'd abandoned her again when her day reset. Jamie is a great love interest and I loved Nat's journey of self-discovery. Sometimes a broken leg turns out to be a good thing!

So many romances try so hard to have believable love stories, and this one manages it effortlessly. A fabulous, fun summer read.

Groundhog Day meets 50 First Dates. Rena is in love with someone she can never have, her best friend is with the wrong person for them, and her father is non-existent.

Finding herself stuck in a time loop until she finds true love, Rena uses the opportunity to try something new every day, aided by her best friend, who is also stuck in the time loop with her.

When I read the premise, it reminded me of The Do-Over by Lynn Painter, which I loved except for a detail. So I was hoping this book could kinda make up for it, which is placing expectations on it.

For starters, there was something weird with the age thing. I'm confused. And "Española" is written like this, not "Espagñola", which is a weird combination of Italian and Spanish.

But honestly, those were minimal details. Saying I enjoyed this would be an understatement. It's a solid romance, and I think it's on the level of highly hyped romance books. If you want to have a good time, definitely read this!
