I like to read all books if in a series so i read the first one, the lizard which was absolutely first rate so i was so keen to jump straight on to this one. It did not disappoint, great plot, fast paced, intrigue, bit of action... brilliant!
I feel for Alistair nothing is ever straight forward. If you love a good read with drama, bit of violent, bit humour, look no further!
Adventures under the sun, in days before smartphones, AI and constant surveillance. A man on the run, in a slightly more louche environment than Robert Buchan's
Second Skin is a great sequel to the Lizard, one which i had no idea was coming.l so thrilled I found it on a wet bank holiday weekend. It takes the story on from the Lizard and throws twist after twist in a giddily propulsive manner. It’s an absolute blast, albeit one that doesn’t necessarily stand up to a huge amount of scrutiny. Such concerns are irrelevant - the characters are compelling and the action keeps on coming. Nicely set up for a third part too - hopefully with the greater recognition Bruce-Lockhart deserves
