The second book jumps the reader right back into the story. I think book two is even better, with more action, more twists and lots of treachery. My advice is to read the first book before you start this one (I’m sure you will love it too, and have double the reading fun). Roxan Burley drops us back into her exciting fantasy world with a bang where creatures of legend, including Eira and her friends are being drawn deeper into the fight against the Dark. More of the characters pasts and connections are revealed, and treachery is never far away as the plot twists and plunges Eira into peril. But friends she has, and friends support, with a tightrope chance of success. But it’s easy to fall off a tightrope. I can’t wait for book three!!! Thank you to Roxan Burley, LiterallyPR and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
