I love everything set in Tudor England, and I recommend this to everyone who can't get enough of that era. However, I did think that the book was lacking in pace and dialogue, but it still held my interest.

A lovely intimate look at Queen Elizabeth's inner courts. Mary, a ward of the Queen's is so loved by the queen that she becomes the daughter Mary never had. The story about Mary is interesting as it shows how everything was political and like most women of the Tudor age, Mary really didn't have many rights of her own.
