This is the best book in this series by FAR and that says a-lot because the first two books are phenomenal! This is a between Teddy and Gus and this will fill your want of a country enemies to lovers. I was sobbing at part and laughing at others and that was because of their character dynamic and the characters themselves. If you are an oldest sibling you are in for a wild ride you are going to connect to and love.

Goodnesss gracious, Gus Ryder! Who could say no to a single dad in chaps? This is the cowboy romance I’ve been needing in my life. Gus and Teddy were hilarious with their banter. And when the spice hit it was spicin! I’ve loved seeing this author grow as a writer with each book! I can’t wait for the next one.

This was my first time reading a Lyla Sage novel, so I wasn't sure if I'd get much out of it, considering it's the third in a series. I was happily surprised to find that it stood on it's own two feet just fine. For me there was plenty of character development within this book to support who they were without prior knowledge. This is a sweet story of "wild child" who finds a forever fit with an oldest child, 'type A' rancher. I liked that it wasn't some sort of 'reformation' story for the FMC, Teddy. I loved the ways she and Gus find their way beyond their childhood opinions of each other.
There are emotional themes of grief, found family, and the pressure of responsibility. Oh, and it's hot as hell, too.
I can't wait to make my way through to the rest of the series.
Thanks so much for the ARC!

Hold onto your hats because Lost and Lassoed is about to lasso your heart and take you on the wildest, sweetest ride (😉) of your life.
Teddy Andersen's grit, charm, and her knack for getting into (and out of) hilarious scrapes made me feel as if I were her constant companion.
The dynamic evolution of female friendships in this narrative is truly captivating. Witnessing the intricate tapestry of their camaraderie unfold had me laughing, shedding a tear, and exuberantly fist-pumping the air more frequently than I care to admit.
And the cowboys? Oh boy, they're everything you'd hope for and more – rugged, loyal, and just the right amount of ornery to keep things interesting.

So, if you're in the mood for a good time with a side of heartfelt friendship, grab this book and saddle up. Fair warning: you might fall so deeply in love with this story that you'll soon be wearing cowboy boots and humming country tunes.

Oh, Lyla, you've done it again.

Teddy and Gus are officially my favorite couple from the Rebel Blue Ranch series so far.

I love a good enemies-to-lovers romance, and this one executed it so well. They go from not being able to be in the same room without bickering to sharing beautiful, quiet moments together. Their love is soft and genuine, which works well for them because they are both hard and jagged.

The way Teddy is with Gus's daughter makes me absolutely convinced that they are perfect together. They become a family during the months that Cam is away, and the connection that they all have is something truly special.

Also, THE CLIFF HANGER AND SNEAK PEEK AT THE END KILLED ME. I need Wild and Wrangled ASAP!

With the rest of Lyla Sage's books I adored this one to no end. I loved Teddy and Gus' dynamic from the first moment they interacted on page so I was very excited for this book. I do wish we explored Gus' dyslexia since it was brought up only once so it seemed like Sage wanted to do more with this, and I also wanted to explore more of Teddy's feelings of her mother's abandonment and how that may or may not have affected her relationship with Riley. I also wish the tension was drawn out more- some push and pull from both parties. There was some at the beginning, but it was quickly resolved. The little teaser at the end really shocked me and now I can't wait to see what happens there! Thank you Netgalley for the ARC!

I opened this from NetGalley at maybe 7pm today…. And here I am at midnight SWOONING and like maybe ready to dive back into this and read it again?? This was my favorite of the 3 books in this series by far. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love. My favorite thing in a book is female friendship and Teddy and Emmy’s sisterhood is so special.

I loved this story. I love Gus and Teddy baby, the way they fight, and the way they…. 😉 (him calling her Teddy baby COME ONNNNNNN)
I’m obsessed with the fact that they never lost their fire that they fought with it just transformed into this loving banter and really spicy pillow talk.

This whole series gets better with each book and I genuinely cannot wait to keep reading.

FIVE STARS!!!!!! 2.5🌶️🌶️

This was one of my most anticipated reads for the year and Lyla Sage didn't let me down! The way I feel so connected to this family through 3 romance books is crazy. The character dynamics, the couples relationships, the spicy scenes! It's all so good. I will forever recommend Lyla Sage to my friends that think they don't like romance novels. I will be re-reading this again when it releases in November.

Was excited to see how Teddy and Gus’s story unfolds and it didn’t disappoint. They’re a fun to dynamic to read about and I was wondering what their turning point would be- cue the forced proximity.

I loved getting more glimpses of Riley, Cam, Amos and Hank in this one.

I always enjoy the setting of Rebel Blue and how the family is interwoven into the stories, learning their backstories.

Can’t wait to see how Cam and Dusty’s story is revealed in Wild and Wrangled!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an e-copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Lyla Sage has done it again! I was so excited for Gus and Teddy's book, and Lyla did not disappoint. I've loved each Rebel Blue story, but this one will definitely hold a special place in the series for me. The chemistry, the emotional depth, the humor, and the way Lyla navigates familial relationships, friendships, and romantic relationships made this book a 5 star read. I couldn't put it down, and it made me laugh, cry, and fall in love with Rebel Blue all over again. Teddy's emotions can be felt so deeply, and that's really what helps make the book as amazing as it is. The cast of characters, as usual, is a wonderful addition to the book, and I loved seeing the other couples from previous books in the series. This book is the shortest one so far, and I do wish some elements could have been expanded on, but overall it was just what I hoped for with Teddy and Gus.

This was an outstanding read (and it got me so excited for the next book!!). Thank you Random House, Dial Press, and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!

Teddy is aimless. She never really moved forward and realized that everyone else had. Her job ends unexpectedly and finds herself being a temporary babysitter for her best friend’s brother, Gus, who she does not like. At all. I mean, he’s hot but in a his personality ruins everything kind of way. And away we go.

The thing about books with single parents for me is that they have to fall in love with the kid before I’ll buy a single second of the overall relationship and I was absolutely delighted with Riley and Teddy’s relationship.

Overall, I wasn’t screaming into the void about this one as much as I expected to. The two of them get up and over things really fast. This was the shortest of the series so far I think and I would have LOVED to see some parts talked about in the epilogue expanded on. However, I’ve enjoyed the whole series and can’t wait for Cam’s book.

Let’s talk about the real smoke show of this book though. Amos. He’s the father of all of the Ryder’s in this series and a distinguished cowboy who pops in and out on a black horse and is emotionally available. Sign me TF up to be everyone’s stepmom.

Short synopsis: Gus hires Teddy (his sisters best friend that he can’t stand) to help care for his 6 year old daughter during the summer.

My thoughts: I could not wait to start this one after loving the previous two books in the series. Gus was such a grumpy pants, with too much weight placed on his shoulders (by his own design), and thrives in structure. Teddy was wild and free, artistic, and a spitfire.

I loved the way they were so different, but their personalities were both so strong that they offset each other perfectly. The banter and tension was just so good! I loved that we got both POV so we could see what was going on in both their little brains.

I adored Teddy’s drive for life. I loved her adventures with Riley in finding the wildflowers and watching their relationship grow so naturally.

Read if you love:
- Grumpy Sunshine
- Enemies to lovers
- Single Dad
- Wild Flowers
- Best friends brother
- Dual POV

Title: Lost and Lassoed
Author: Lyla Sage
Genre: romance
Format: eARC
Pub day: November 5, 2024
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

This is book 3 in the Rebel Blue Ranch series by Lyla Sage and follows Gus and Teddy.

Oh my word….this is truly one of my comfort series. I absolutely adore the setting and all of the characters, and I have breezed through reading all 3 of these books.

I have been eagerly waiting for Gus and Teddy to have their time to shine. I am an enemies to lovers junkie and this truly delivered. I love their banter and the tension between the two crackles. Their babysitter/single dad dynamic in this story was soooo good and I loved watching Gus, Teddy, and Riley become their little unit.

I personally connected with some deep rooted issues/feelings both Teddy and Gus had in this book, so those parts impacted me more than it may others. I also found myself tearing up with Teddy and her dad. Oh my heart.

I absolutely adored this book. I tried to savor it and read it slow…but it’s impossible! Now my only regret is that I didn’t wait a little longer to read it. Because now I’m NEEDING the next book that was set up by the ending of this one.

Lyla Sage…please keep writing and gracing us with your beautiful, easy, addictive writing!

If you've been waiting like me for book 3 because you knew Teddy & Gus's sparks would light a fire, you will not be disappointed!

I love when a series focused around a family really digs into the individual characters' personalities and backgrounds for their books. We got to know and love both of these leads in earlier books, but I feel like I've really gotten tk understand them in Lost & Lassoed. I especially enjoy how these characters have friends and family on page who support them, know them, and give them excellent (usually) advice.

I do wish we'd gotten to see Teddy grow a bit more in professional confidence - it feels like her personal character arc was a little rushed and I wouldn't have minded hanging around to see her spread her wings a little.

Ultimately, this is a terrific third book in the series. It made me laugh, it definitely made me cry, and I'm so excited to keep reading Rebel Blue with the next book!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an arc of this book! All opinions are my own.

*This admittedly is my first Rebel Blue Ranch book so I know I missed certain things reading this.*

I really wanted to love this based on the hype for the other books in the series but the story and the romance was lacking for me. Teddy and Gus are interesting characters and I assume I might learn more about their relationship if I read the previous two books but their relationship wasn't really drawing me in. I love enemies to lovers and grumpy/sunshine romances but everything fell sort of flat. I was more interested in the tension between Teddy and Emmy than Teddy and Gus.

Overall, it was a funny, easy read!

Another 5 star for Lyla Sage. For everyone who translated the anxst between Teddy and August as sexual tension, you book has finally arrived. The sexual tension between Teddy and August has finally gotten the attention is so badly needed, and Lyla did such a good job. Sage does such a good job of buildng the plot and weaving in emotional "baggage" while still making the plot smooth, funny and steamy.

I'm back in my cowboy romances era, I guess. I really enjoyed the story between Gus and Teddy and how they overcame the obstacles thrown their way. Can't wait for the next one!

Just as I did with the first two books in this series, I basically devoured Lost and Lassoed in a day. Sage has done such a wonderful job of writing relatable, complex characters that feel like real people you've known forever, and the series flows so well between their love stories. This love story in particular is just the right combination of smutty and sweet, and Gus and Teddy have the perfect enemies to lovers vibes. (Lest we forget the side characters who especially make things even better: adorable Riley and badass Hank. ♥)

I wasn't surprised in the slightest that I really, really enjoyed this -- and I can't wait for Dusty and Cam's book!

If Lyla Sage has one fan, it's me. This is my favorite of the Rebel Blue Ranch series so far and the bar was already high. The father stories in this book brought tears to my eyes, and I loved the relationship development and effort of our main characters. Already ready for book #4!
