Story wise , I enjoy it. Jasmine is a bit too over the top and got on my nerves a lot of the times, but Rahul chapters where a bit nicer to listen too. Also the voices I really like Rahul side but not crazy about Jasmine ones. Still it was easy to follow .

*I received an ALC for review.*
First, since this was for the audiobook, I'd like to say that these two narrators were VERY animated, and I think they were excellent choices. Both gave excellent feeling to the spicy scenes without making it overblown and pornographic. (There are a bunch of spicy scenes, so overacted sex would be a real buzzkill, as it were.)
On to the book itself. I actually own a(n unread) kindle copy of The Roommate Risk, and I was under the impression that it was a novella. It is a full-blown book! Which is great because I freaking ADORE Talia Hibbert's writing. Whether or not she is fic girlie, she writes like one (that is HIGH praise) and I love that for us as readers.
Jasmine doesn't hook up with friends, so when she befriends Rahul and sleeps with him not long after meeting him, she gives him the choice: friend or f!ck. Rahul, already hopelessly in love with her, chooses friend, knowing that if they slept together, she'd discard him as soon as the weekend ended. After seven years of friendship, when Jas's apartment floods, it seems only natural for her to stay with Rahul until her apartment is ready. Pretty early on, Jas breaks her rule, deciding that since she lives with Rahul, friends with benefits isn't the same as dating or sleeping with a friend. Naturally, it's the best sex either of them ever had, and they continue until it's time for her to move back to her place.
I really enjoyed this audiobook for both the story and the narrators. The Roommate Risk is a bit less fluffy than the Brown Sisters series, so if you're coming to this from that, I think you'll still enjoy it, but it is a bit of departure from those. It is, however, every bit as spicy as what I've come to expect from a Hibbert book. (Which, if you haven't read any, there are a handful of extremely well written, detailed without being gross sex scenes).
I highly recommend this one for fans of the Brown Sisters and if you enjoy authors like Ali Hazelwood or Julie Soto.
Huge thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the ALC.

OH MY GOD I LOVED THIS BOOK! LIKE SO SO GOOD! I mean the narrators are 10/10.
What can I saw I love Talia Hibbert books. I have no words. I want to read this over and over again.
I got an alc of this book on NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Talia Hibbert is typically an auto-buy author for me so I was thrilled to listen/read this title by her. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of this book. I had a really hard time liking or even appreciating Jasmine or Rahul and their entire dynamic made me uncomfortable. Individually they each have personalities I myself steer clear from but I think the audiobook did not help. The chemistry that I feel a reader can typically pick up while reading with their eyeballs was missing and that could be why I had such a negative experience reading this.
