This was a second chance romance that strives for more than it achieves. It was a sweet book, but ultimately it left me wanting more depth and emotion

At times predictable and with plenty of heat, this book wasn’t perfect but the story was entertaining enough to keep my attention. Although most of the elements of the story were okay, I found it a little slow-paced. I did enjoy the characters and the small-town atmosphere that made it to the page. All in all, an okay, light and steamy read.
