Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for this free advance readers copy in exchange for my honest feedback. This book teaches your little ones the ABCs about the history of St. Patrick’s Day. Not only did I find it an excellent education tool for children but I as an adult learned so much! This wouldn’t be a fantastic addition to any school classroom as a tool to learn with or at home!
This book surprised me, it gave so much information and was way more than just a regular ABC book.
the illustrations are beautiful and very captivating.
I have always said there is not enough books about St Patricks day so this is WONDERFUL! I loved teaching about St Pattys day when i taught preschool and I wish I had this book. It was great and my four kids loved reading it with me.
I thought this was a cute book! While it’s short it is definitely geared towards elementary-aged children, not little littles. I am Irish, my dad was born and raised there and I have been several times, and I still learned new things from this book! I do wish it had a little less on leprechauns though.
Thank you NetGalley, DuoPress, and the author for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I received a free copy of, The St. Patrick's Day Alphabet, by Liz Saunders, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is an A to Z guide to St. Patricks Day. St, Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays, March 17 is a great day to celebrate the Irish heritage. From corn beef, to Dublin to, yarns, this is a great illustrated book about St. Patricks Day.
This book goes through the alphabet and puts a fun Irish spin on it! Each letter relates something to Ireland or the Irish. I loved this! I thought it was so cute, and had the added fun bonus of encouraging kids to find all the leprechauns, Definitely recommend!
At almost 28 years old, I am here to admit to you all that I knew absolutely nothing about this history of St Patrick's Day. This children's book changed that, no shame lol. My husband went to a private college (*eyeroll*, but anywhooooo...) that adopted a lot of Irish traditions, so this helped me understand those a little more too.
Some of the words used I couldn't even pronounce myself, but I feel like it may be one of those "fake it ti' ya make it" books where the child doesn't know if you're saying it wrong unless you tell them, so you just do that until you're able to remember the word again when you're alone and can look up the real pronunciation.
Not only were the illustrations adorable, but they also served as a seek and find game throughout the book as you search for little Leprechauns!
I recommend this book as a holiday addition to your little's library, especially if they're young enough you can use it annually for at least a few years.
{Thank you bunches to NetGalley, Liz Saunders and publisher for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!}
This book was fun to read with my son. The book is full of interesting facts and great illustrations. Even as an adult, I learned a lot of different facts about St. Patrick’s Day that I didn’t already know. The text is easy to read and flows well. This would be a fun book to read in an elementary classroom.
Brilliant history of Irish and Irish American customs and St. Patrick's Day for children. The illustrations are engaging and the text is ready to read. This is an excellent book for elementary children either in classes or this looking to celebrate Irish culture without the commercialization.
Super cute book! My daughter was born on S.t. Patrick’s day, so I love everything st Patrick’s day. This is such a cute book to teach little kids about ST Patrick’s day and Ireland! I am always looking for holiday books that gives you information about the holidays in ways the kids would love! I can come up with so many activities you can do with this book! The author did a very good job with the information and the pictures. My little one enjoyed this book and she learned more information about st Patrick’s day and Ireland then we already told her. I even learn a few new thing!
