I struggle with thrillers, I truly do. The premises always sound so intriguing, but rarely do I find the endings satisfying. Please keep this bias in mind for the rest of the review and take it with a healthy grain of salt if you love the genre.

I Think I Was Murdered piqued my interest immediately. The title and the blurb sounded fascinating and fresh. A plot involving exciting technology? Awesome. A mysterious death? Cool. Second-chance romance? Sign me up.

Despite knowing that thrillers usually let me down, I love mysteries and romance, so I thought this one would be okay. And it's not like I hated it; there were good elements. However, ultimately the twists and turns of the plot left me feeling like I was reading the novelization of a soap opera. It was a little much.

I liked Seb, though, and Katrina was well-written. I didn't feel like they had much chemistry, but I'm inclined to give the authors a break on this. Writing a second-chance love story when one of the characters is a widow wading through grief must be tough. Adding in that this was a clean romance and the characters are fairly religious and suddenly I understand why I wasn't overwhelmed by their chemistry. I was still happy to see them end up together. The epilogue was satisfying. I wouldn't highly recommend it, but I don't regret reading it and am grateful for the opportunity.

This book was unlike anything I’ve ever read. Technology can be scary. It was an interesting read and fans of Colleen won’t be surprised that it was really well written.

The story flowed well and the characters were well developed. I recommend this book and look forward to more from this author.

This was a fast-paced techno thriller. The AI bot as a central character made for an interesting read, and there was a plot twist I never saw coming. Anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a modern spin will love this. Thanks so much for letting me read in advance!

The story revolves around a mysterious egg and its pursuit by those who will do anything for it. The story features an unexpected twist, a clean read, and a satisfying conclusion.

I THINK I WAS MURDERED by COLLEEN COBLE and RICK ACKER is a real page turner that will keep you guessing right to the end. There is mystery, romance, betrayal, adventure, murder and mayhem,; in facr everything you expect in a good thriller, plus much more, with the addition of a chatbot, a Chinese gang, bitcoin and a valuable egg.
When this chatbot uses her late husband’s voice to tell Katrina he thinks he is murdered, her already disturbed life takes another direction and gets really dangerous. With Seb, someone she looked down on and treated badly when they were young, and her best friend Liv, she sets off to find out what really happened.
The story is told against the background of a friendly town with a Norwegian flavour, and eateries with good food…….
Family dynamics and the characters’ emotions are explored…….
I do not want to tell you any more for fear of spoiling your read.
I highly recommend this exciting and well written novel to anyone who enjoys this genre.
