I freaking loved this book! I really liked Cate and thought that she was a great character. Her love and determination to help her brother was awesome. I did cringe a few times over her rash decision making and not thinking things through. I felt that she could have avoided a lot of issues if she had. However that wouldn't have been fun so here we are. I loved the magic system in this and the way that the courts are set up and run. I liked the characters especially Sierra. I liked Lachlan and thought that the banter and tension between him and Cate came across as genuine. I found myself really rooting for them about halfway through the book. I was not expecting this ending and I cannot wait for the next book!
This is a book is interesting characters and a main protagonist who finds themselves in a world that they do not know about. Century and the world building is good. There is a lot of gray and you don’t know who to trust which makes it an interesting book from start to finish.
This was a fun, and easy read! Like Lee's other works I enjoyed it and felt like it was exactly what it set out to do!
I LOVED this book! I stayed up all night reading and couldn't put it down! The way I was obsessed is an understatement!
I could not put this book down! While a couple of the twists were rather predictable, the tension between the FMC and MMC was intense yet bantery from the beginning and only proceeded to build throughout the story.
I liked that the reader has no knowledge of the fae until the FMC is "introduced" to that world. It means the FMC and reader are learning everything at the same time, which helps to involve you more in the story.
I read this book in a day and am already hanging out for the sequel! I highly recommend adding this to your TBR, you definitely won't regret it!
ACOTAR and Lightlark vibes!
Classic human-fae dynamic, "touch her and die" trope (and everything you would expect to come with that), but an unexpected ending. I was not interested in reading the next book in the series until the last two chapters due to feeling like I had experienced the same plot line in other books before.
**Definitely read the trigger warnings before picking this book up, as there is a lot of sensitive content across various subjects.
Addicting! Could not put this one down and can not wait for the next one! I loved everything about this, so much that it put me in a book slump because nothing was as good!
*Thank you to Entangled Publishing for providing me with this e-book.

Cate Holloway was a young woman trying to get by in her day to day life, and she knew exactly what to not do, and who to avoid. The name everyone knows in New Orleans is, the Gages, and their influence and power held over everyone was unmatched. No one could go up against the Gages, and yet when Cate’s foster brother gets caught up in the Gage business, she takes it upon herself to settle things straight. In a turns of events, Cate then found herself bound to a bargain to none other than Lachlan Gage, but Gage wasn’t just a notorious criminal, he was actually a FLITHY RICH FAE! Geneva Lee crafted an urban fantasy with dark elements, an almost mafia type feel to the Gage family business, and a young woman willing to go to any length to ensure her freedom from the nefarious yet devilishly handsome fae who held her soul…LITERALLY!
Care Holloway’s life had changed in drastic ways when she came face to face with, Lachlan Gage. I thought it was really gutsy of Cate to go out and seek Lach in order to help her brother from getting into more trouble, but…GIRL! Things could have ended up very differently if Lach hadn’t been the man that he was! Regardless, Lach ended actually being a lot more than Cate could have ever imagined, and while she was surprised, she didn’t really Lach. Cate was a dedicated nurse, and early on in the story it became clear that Cate hadn’t always had the easiest life. Bouncing around from foster homes, and apparently running with the wrong people was Cate’s life when she was younger. Now in the present, Cate wasn’t in the bad crowd, just struggling to make ends meet with her job, and trying to make the most of what she had. With Lach becoming a central part of Cate’s life, he became someone who changed it in ways that didn’t always have to be bad.
This story kept me entertained and with Cate trying to navigate her bargain with Lach, it seemed like Cate was in for new things and an interesting turn with her…relationship with Lach. I feel like the story started to pick up in terms of the plot a lot more towards the end. With the unexpected cliff hanger, and plot twist of certain characters turning on Cate and Lach, it added an unexpected turn in the story. As for the rest of the story, it all just seemed to show how Cate and Lach went from unlikely individuals being forced together through the bargain, to the sexual tension brewing between them, to ultimately falling for each other. The story progressed to a big climax, and I feel like I enjoyed the story more towards the ending. I didn’t feel a connection to either Cate or Lach, but I still liked parts of their story together. Literally this had a, filthy Rich fae, and I was entertained seeing Lach become increasingly protective over Cate as well as him staking his claim on her. With the way this story ended, I might end up reading the next book because, I want answers and want to see what happens next.
So I read this and I’ve been dying to forever and it did not disappoint I loved it couldn’t put it down it made me laugh so much
3.5 upped to 4
An entertaining mix of urban fantasy and crime thriller. I had fun but I wasn't a fan of the characters.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
This book really surprised me I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it but I ended up enjoying it very much it was a very good read. Never read the author before now I look forward to reading her other work and looking forward to the next book in the series.
Holy cow this book was so good!!! I could not put it down. Rushed home from work every day just to grab my kindle.
There were a couple of scenes that I was wrapped up in everything else disappeared. I still don’t trust Shaw, lol.
Bummed we have to wait until January for the next book, but I know it will be worth the wait!
I’m a big fan of Geneva Lee and this book has to be my favorite!!! I was so lucky to have been given an advanced copy for group read on FB! I loved Loch and Cate! They’re such a perfect match(I believe they are fated for sure)! The enemies to lovers, the build up, the drama, and the steam was perfection!! I love being in the fae world that mixes secretly with the real world! I can’t say enough about how much I loved this book! I’m dying for book 2! Highly recommend reading this one!
Filthy Rich Fae is a good book with an engaging plot. There were times that I was less engaged in the events, nut would get swept back into the story quickly. This book does end on a cliffhanger, so it you don't want to have to wait to continue the story you might want to wait until the full series is released.
I received this book through NetGalley in exchange for a review.
This is now one of my favorite books!
It is an amazing story with well-developed characters that instantly draw you into their story. I loved Lachlan and Cate. I was truly hooked the entire time.
I highly recommend giving this a read!
Thank you Entangled Publishing for the book!

What to even say.. this book was absolutely AMAZING!! It reminded me of A Court of Mist and Fury (in a good way). Lachlan is one of my new favorite book boyfriends. His demeanor is very similar to Rhys from ACOTAR, so if that’s your thing then you will LOVE him. And. What about that ending?!? WTF?! I am invested and will be reading the next book!!!
THANK YOU netgalley and Entangled Publishinng for the ARC!
I received Filthy Rich Fae in return for an honest review from Entangled as part of the re-along.
Cate risked everything to protect her brother even walked into the a world she knew nothing about and making a deal that will change her life forever. However, the more time she spends with Lachlan and his family the more she starts to question what she knows. She can't deny the attraction and the more time she spends she finds herself falling for him.
I love the concept for Filthy Rich Fae the idea of the wild hunt, the fae and the different courts was really interesting. Of course I love Lachlan he's the morally grey fae prince I was hoping for when I started this one. I ended up devouring it in just a day because I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the story so much that I decided to grab the audiobook and listen to it again and it was just as amazing. I loved the narrators who did this one. Highly recommend listening to the audiobook.
I love the author's Filthy Rich Vampire series so of course I had to jump at the chance to read Filthy Rich Fae and I'm so glad that I got the opportunity. This one might have just pushed Filthy Rich Vampires out of my top spot as I just loved Cate and Lachlan so much. The author is very talented when it comes to weaving a captivating story that captures the heart as well as the imagination. Filthy Rich Fae is a romance with engaging characters and beautiful story. I can't wait for the next one so I can see what happens next. Eek the waiting is the worst but I know it's going to be worth it.
Cates journey meeting Lachlan and falling for him was full of so much romance and fantasy. The fae world building made it really enjoyable to imagine another world besides our own. I enjoyed this book so much more I finished it quickly.

Loved:
*Mixture of "mafia" and fantasy
*Cate's medical background
*Great character development
*Banter
*Fae shenanigans
*Fast-paced
Loved Less:
*Too many curse words
*Not enough true relationship building between Lach and Cate
Description:
"You made a bargain...
Your soul for his―and now, you are mine.”
Cate Holloway knows the unspoken rule of New Orleans: avoid the powerful Gage crime family at all costs. Of course, that was before her brother got caught in their chaos. Now Cate has no choice but to confront the dark and forbidding prince of New Orleans himself and beg for her brother’s life.
But Lachlan Gage is as lethal as he is beautiful…and the only currency he’s interested in is her soul.
Because Lachlan isn’t just some ruthless criminal. He’s fae. And he has his own secret reasons for binding her to him.
Tricked and desperate, Cate is torn between humanity and the breathtaking Otherworld. A place filled with shadows and secrets, with members of each fae court plotting against her just as her captor’s motives for trapping her, become more mysterious.
And if she can’t break this sinister bargain in the next thirty days, she’ll be bound to the inscrutable yet infuriatingly tempting fae prince and his deadly world…forever.
My opinion:
Speedy storyline with well developed characters and fascinating world building. This is my first mafia book that I have read, and Lee does not disappoint. I really enjoyed that Cate works in the medical field and uses her training more than once in the story. Cate's past and the fact that she was an orphan and in foster care adds true depth and trauma to her character. Lach and Cates's banter are fun and titillating; along with some of the other characters' banter. The fae shenanigans entertain continuously. One complaint is that there is no true relationship building between Lach and Cate in that they do not truly get to know each other. I feel that adding a little more detail about them getting to know each other and also decreasing the curse words would make this book a solid 5 stars. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who delights in mafia and/or fantasy. We are left with a cliffhanger ending, and I can not wait for the next novel!
I loved how this book took off, especially the banter between Cate and Lachlan and the plot—what Cate had to face to save her brother. It had a strong beginning with great potential for a series. However, the world-building and originality fell short for me, as I noticed similarities with other popular series. This was disappointing because I had high hopes for this title. Despite Lachlan and Cate’s amazing chemistry and my enjoyment of the side characters, I found it hard to connect with the story. Although I loved the ending, the book as a whole was just 'meh.' I really wanted to love it more.
I will absolutely give this author another try, given the opportunity. Thank you to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for gifting me an ARC copy of this book.
