What a ride this one was!!! I need the next book now! Heads up this one ends with a cliffhanger!!! I was hooked from the moment I started this one and didn’t want to put it down!! There was never a dull moment during this read! It’s been a while since I’ve read a workplace romance that wasn’t a romcom…and I will say I didn’t know I needed a good revenge plot! And oh what a plot is weaved!! If you’re a fan of revenge, enemies to lovers, workplace, close proximity, secret romances mark this one as a must read!!! The next book won’t come out fast enough! I need the ending!!! Definitely a must read!!

Holden. I love Holden. I will never forget him. Rowen was pretty amazing too, but this is Holdens time to shine. I love him so much. I loved the spice, I loved the revenge, I loved everything. There is nothing hotter than a morally grey billionaire man with a sad past. Seriously I will never stop thinking about this book.

This book was absolutely phenomenal! The chemistry between the characters was off the charts, and the tension kept me on the edge of my seat. This Book, like wow! I wasn’t expecting how good this book ended up being! I love finding new to me authors and she will hands down be a go to author now. I can’t wait for book two in the Tangled Hearts. I am obsessed with K. Brombergs writing style, steam, angst, romance all wrapped into one with a pretty little bow.

Rowan, is beautiful…and rich. She is expected to live the lavish and domestic lifestyle, but she wants more. She is constantly in competition with her brother, her parents golden boy. But she is brilliant and resilient and determine to prove it.
Then enter Holden, he Is handsome and charismatic, and he comes in to rock her world. But their chemsity is undeniable. The banter is wonderful. I have never wanted to see a couple get together in a book so bad in my life.
But then bam, that ending…..ughhhhhh. just me patiently waiting for book two, and it can’t come soom enough!
This was a beautiful start to an amazing series – I need MOREEEEEE.

This the the first part to the Tangled Hearts trilogy and what a fantastic introduction it was! This one has set the story and the characters up brilliantly and I cannot wait to see how this is going to play out.

Holden is quite the character. He is determined and calculated and will do whatever it takes to get revenge on his brother. Rowen is strong and sassy but is constantly overshadowed by her brother. she does all the hard work and he gets all the glory!

Kristy did a brilliant job with this one, setting the scene and dynamics between Holden and Rowan, their banter, their chemistry is enticing. This is filled with family secrets, humour, vengeance mixed with romance and chemistry, making this a must read.

That ending!!! Another amazing read by K. Bromberg. I absolutely loved this enemies to lovers storyline. Holden and Rowen have smoking hot chemistry and banter for days. I can’t wait for the next book!

This was such an interesting read. I loved it. Revenge, fall for the boss/enemy, romance, and so much more. It did end on a cliffhanger so I definitely need the next one. I can't wait to see what happens.

Firstly, this is not a standalone, so if you're looking for a book with a neat HEA, this is not the book for you. I repeat, there is a cliffhanger so don't anticipate feeling warm and fuzzy at the end of it.

Enemies-to-lovers is and always will be a top-tier trope, if not my favourite of all time so I was always going to enjoy this book.

Holden and Rowan, love the names, loved their banter and chemistry. It's the perfect billionaire romance with the right amount of spice and plot. Tragic backstory from the MMC, check. Strong alpha boss female, check. Also, we love a dirty talking MMC!

This book wasn't quite for me. The author's writing was good, but the characters and plot just weren't my vibe.

This is my first book by K. Bromberg and it definitely won't be my last! I was absolutely sucked into this book. I read half of it in one sitting! A billionaire romance with a secret revenge plot, hidden identity, tortured hero and fierce FMC? Yes, please! K. Bromberg gives us all of this in a gritty and heated story that keeps you reading well into the night.

The writing style is so well done. The storyline, the character development, the angst, the steam, were all amazing. K. Bromberg was able to weave together the overall plot and the spice perfectly, so that one didn't overtake the other. I loved the dual pov as well, as it gave us an ideal amount of insight into each character. The highlighting and challenging of misogyny and corruption throughout the story were interesting to read as the character's tried to navigate their way through these tough issues.

Rowan is such a great FMC. She's born into a wealthy family, and part of elite society, but fights against the notion that women should be seen and not heard. She's aware of the privilege that she has, but she doesn't look down on others and deeply cares about helping people. In everything Rowan does, you can see how smart, and hardworking she is. We love a woman who's tough and always ready to fight for what she believes in.

Holden Knight. Remember that name because he will be your next book boyfriend. I'll be honest, I did not like Holden in the beginning. I felt he was very arrogant and rude, and seemed to perpetuate the same misogyny displayed by Rowan's family. But, boy did he grow on me! He's mysterious, he's broody, and he came to play chess, not checkers! Learning his backstory was heartbreaking, and opened up a whole new facet of who he is. He was my favorite character to learn about and watch grow because there is just so much depth to him. And I completely support his revenge plan!

Together, Rowan and Holden were chef's kiss. Their chemistry is off the charts! The tension between them was palpable every time they were on the page together, and the banter? Top tier. Watching them slowly let down their walls and open up to each other gave me butterflies. This is a slow burn, so it takes a bit for them to get together, but the payoff is well worth it.

Now when K. Bromberg said in her bio that she makes you work for the happily ever afters, I should've been prepared, but alas, I was not. I think I actually screamed when I read the last sentence. That ending had me on the edge of my seat, and I'm waiting with bated breath for book two. Everything does not get wrapped up in book one, so be prepared for the ride! Overall, I highly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one!

A book about business, family, revenge and everything in between. Rowan is part of her family business, she unlike some of her family members works very hard and wants this business to succeed more than anything. She is very surprised when she finds out her brother has decided to sell part of it. Holden came from nothing and is now beyond successful. He is buying a failing business, for him this is more than business it’s about revenge. Holden has secrets on top of his secrets and he isn’t sharing with anyone. The only thing he does share is some incredible chemistry with Rowan. This had a killer cliffhanger and more questions to be answered.

The push and pull of tension and the desire to dominate are strong in this romance. The chemistry between Holden and Rowan can be felt immediately as they fight their attraction. The relationship between Rowan and her brother and his friend is frustrating to say the least, but that sends her into Holden's arms and just when you think you know where it's going it ends on a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read more of this fated love story. I listened to the audiobook and it's very well done.

As for Holden, he was the epitome of a brooding, cocky, and ridiculously hot hero. He oozed "boss" energy but did so in a way that didn’t make him obnoxious—there was just something so magnetic about him. His past was complicated and filled with pain, and as his motivations for revenge unfolded, I found myself understanding and empathizing with him on a much deeper level. It was clear that even though he came into this situation wanting to get back at the Rothchilds, Rowan was slowly breaking down his walls, and that made for some truly satisfying character growth.

The chemistry between Rowan and Holden? Off the charts. The tension between them was absolutely electric, with the slow build-up making every interaction more delicious than the last. The banter was hilarious, the sexual tension palpable, and their jealousy and possessiveness over each other just made the whole dynamic even more addicting. This is one of the best enemies-to-lovers builds I’ve read in a while, and the payoff was worth every bit of slow-burn tension.

Honestly, Twisted Knight was a wild ride from start to finish. I was so invested in Rowan and Holden’s story that I couldn’t put it down, but I do have to admit, that cliffhanger? K. Bromberg, how could you?! It left me dying to know what happens next, and I can’t wait for the continuation of their story. I truly believe they deserve a happily ever after, and Holden—well, he definitely deserves some justice.

If you’re a fan of steamy romance, tension-filled banter, and a truly satisfying enemies-to-lovers plot, Twisted Knight is a must-read. I can’t recommend it enough

This story took me for a ride! I went in completely blind, and was absolutely enthralled with the lies and deception that unfolded as the story played out. In a town where perception and status matters, all is not as it seems when Holden Knight waltzes into Rowan’s world, throwing an even bigger wrench into her tumultuous relationship with her family and their failing business. He is arrogant yet charming, is ruthless in all things business, yet he seems to be the only one that truly sees Rowan for everything that she is.

“To be intrigued by her is one thing. To be attracted to her? That’s a whole other Pandora’s box I’m not ready to open.”

Rowan was so damn smart and capable, but no one in her family saw her for anything more than a pretty face, truly the face of the company, but nothing else. And while Rowan may have been charmed by Holden, there’s one big problem, Holden had revenge to seek and nothing would stand in his way to finally getting his vengeance. The flashbacks to his past absolutely ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped all over it, each one giving one more piece to the puzzle of his life and what truly happened to cause him to become so cold. This book was the perfect mix of forbidden romance and steamy scenes to keep me enthralled right up until the last page! Looking forward to the seeing what happens after that cliffhanger!

This was my first K. Bromberg book and TBH I wasn’t gonna apply for the ARC as the cover didn’t really catch my eye. However I read the blurb and it sounded good, plus I love the enemies to lovers, revenge, alpha-hero tropes so I decided to sign up … and holy mother of god I’m so glad I did!! This book is definitely in my top reads of 2024. The only negative I can give is that I didn’t realize it ends on a cliffhanger which is my fault for not knowing.

First let’s start off with our FMC, Rowan. This woman has sass, bite, smarts, and a drive to take over her families business. Even if it’s in the hands of her idiot brother who only gets it because of what’s between his legs. To lay it out for you, where Rowan is from the patriarchy is alive and everyone is still living in a world where women are meant to look pretty, carry babies, attend luncheons, and serve their husbands … the total opposite of EVERYTHING Rowan stands for. Oh and the man that’s supposed to love Rowan is her brother’s best friend and his little lap dog that does whatever he’s asked even if it hurts Rowan. Needless to say I’m so not a fan of either of those two asshats.

Now onto Holden who’s come back to his hometown to get revenge on those who ruined his family. He didn’t grow up rich, he grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. No one remembers him or his family, the rich don’t remember what’s beneath them in this town. But they want to know the Holden of now, the one who’s made a name for himself, the ones that’s rich, little do they know that he plans on taking them down. What Holden didn’t plan on was Rowan. She’s nothing like the rest of them and she’s the one distraction he can’t afford.

I absolutely DEVOURED this book. Rowan and Holden are definitely a slow burn but the chemistry between them is palpable and I am so invested in their story. You could feel the jealousy radiating off these characters when the other was near someone of the opposite sex. There was so much going on in this book from past to present and what’s going to happen next that it had my emotions all over the freaking place. I don’t know when book 2 is coming out but you can bet your ass that I’ll be pouncing on it the second it does.
