I totally fell in love with Rowan and her desire to be seen—seen as a woman, seen as a business woman, seen as something more. And Holden, Lordy, where do I start… he’s also looking to be seen, but in an entirely different way.

I don’t want to give anything away because <i>Twisted Knight</i> does end in a bit of a cliffhanger. And what a cliffhanger it is! I cannot wait for what’s next in the <i>Tangled Hearts</i> series.

K. Bromberg delivers a wildly entertaining, enemies to lovers, workplace romance filled with undeniable chemistry, hostile takeovers, secret rendezvous and revenge. *Dreamy sigh* I love a good revenge plot and this one kept me glued to my kindle. I read this in one sitting.

I loved Holden. His determination to bring down the people who destroyed his family is the best part of the story. He will do whatever it takes to right a wrong. However, he didn’t anticipate Rowan. He didn’t expect her to be so unlike her brother and the other rich snobs in town. I generally liked rowan as well. However, I do wish she wasn’t so loyal to her family. They treated her so disrespectfully and I truly hope she stands up for herself in the next books.

Twisted Knight ends on one heck of a cliffhanger and I am dyyyyyiiiiinnnnggg to get the next books. I need more Holden and Rowan in my life asap.

TALK ABOUT PLOT TWISTS AFTER PLOT TWISTS! Lord, this book did not disappoint one bit! This book does end with a cliffhanger, so please make sure you buckled in correctly for this ride.

This story takes place in Westmoore, a town all about wealth and power that's filled with twists, betrayal, and backdoor deals, making it impossible to put down. Not to mention revenge, enemies to friends to lovers to enemies, romance, cover-ups, and what it means to be a woman in the workplace.

Rowan Rothschild, the face of her family's company, is beautiful, smart, strong-willed, and determined, but she's never taken seriously because of her gender. Just when she is ready to put her plan into action, she is once again reminded of how much power she actually has.

Enter Holden Knight, a mysterious tech billionaire with a serious grudge against the Rothschilds and those associated with them. He’s planning to buy Rowan's family company, and while he sees Rowan’s potential, he’s got his own agenda. And wow, that cliffhanger! I didn’t see it coming and now I’m desperate for the next book! If you love a good enemies-to-lovers story with tons of angst and strong characters, you definitely need to check this out. I loved every moment of it! I can not wait to get to see some groveling!

I'll start by noting, like many other people here, this book has a cliff-hanger ending. I didn't realise this before reading and when I eventually got to it I was SOOOOO mad. I have fallen into the security of reading series that contain interconnected stand alone's so this one really did leave me reeling. But in a good way, because I don't think I've ever been more eager to read a Book 2.

If you love contemporary steamy office romances full of rich people problems then this book is for you. This author always delivers for me and, despite my obvious shock at the ending, she continues to deliver with Twisted Knight.

Both MC's immediately drew me in with their equal desire to be seen. The way that the author was brewing their tension and sexual and chemistry for so long made for a great crescendo moment when the moment finally came for them. A truly entertaining read, full of heat, emotion and equal opportunities (in more ways than one).

This book left me at the edge of my seat. Had no idea this would end in a cliffhanger! I was like "Nooooooo!"

Holden is out for revenge, Rowan is colateral damage because ot was her family he was plotting against.

I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. Ot was thrilling and swoon-worthy! Not sure when book 2 comes out but please release ASAP! Had to know whats next!

And honestly, I wasn’t ready for this book. I devoured this in 24 hours and am still left shook at the cliff hanger. I need the next book instantly.

The suspense, secrets and lies had me ferociously turning pages.
This was a slow burn, and burrrrrn I did. Holden almost gave me whiplash with the things he said, but as they say, actions speak louder than words.

Rowan is a sassy FMC who knows what she wants & goes for it. Whilst Holden is our morally grey MC who also thinks he knows what he wants. Until they meet each other. The banter & suspense was explosive, quite like the cliff hanger… that I just can’t get over.

I’ll certainly be adding the paperback to my bookshelf. This one’s an absolute keeper 🥲🩵

Oh my GOODNESS THAT. ENDING. I wanted to both throw my book and read it again. Twisted Knight was the best kind of enemies to lovers-they were biting enemies until they weren’t and the flow was impeccable. I absolutely loved this, I cannot wait for more from this author.

That ENDING!!! I about died.

This book was very nicely done. The mystery and secrets kept you intrigued throughout. Rowan and Holden as enemies to lovers was so good.. they were true enemies until they weren’t.

Holden’s character holds so much mystery that I kept trying to figure out what his motivations were. He really does play the long game on revenge. And Rowan. I truly felt bad for her because the life she lives is such a stepford wives life. Women are meant to be accessories, not breadwinners or free thinkers. So her trying to break that mold is fun to watch. The back and forth between Holden and Rowan keep you invested in their relationship.

With that ending I cannot wait for book 2!

Right from the get go there was some family dynamics that just didn’t sit well with Rowan, and not only was her family getting her back up, enter Holden Knight. He’s here to ruffle some feathers and he well and truly does as not everything is as black and white when it comes to Holden, and then you sit back and watch all the fireworks go off!

I really enjoyed this story it had enough grit and story to keep me entertained and turning those pages 😍😍

The banter? Addictive. The chemistry? Off the charts! You’ll be grinning like an idiot one minute and throwing your Kindle the next because, WOW, the cliffhanger. 😩 If you’re not ready for a sleepless night and needing book two IMMEDIATELY, proceed with caution.

Twisted Knight was everything and more that I could want out of a romance book. Definitely going to the top of my best books of 2024. RIP to any books I read after this because my mind is still on Holden and Rowan, and what could possibly happen next. 😩

Well, what an introduction to K. Bromberg!! This was a story of lies and deception, a revenge plot with a sexy edge, an intriguing page turner that kept me guessing…and, discussing potential plot twist with friends because this doozy is a cliffhanger of the best sort!

In the small town of Westmore, the Rothschild name is untouchable, the standard for high society living but, Rowan Rothschild wants nothing to do with that life. Her goal is to make TinSpirits, her family’s business, into the successful company she knows it can be. But her family and societal expectations have kept her in the background, unable to be a major player at the table, until now. However, that seat comes with some strings, subterfuge, and a seriously infuriating man…one that’s out for revenge.

Holden Knight, you are one very endearing alpha-hole, with some questionable tactics, and a soft center for dear Rowan! Rowan, you are one badass woman who holds her own with this man using your business acumen AND smart mouth!

I loved Holden & Rowan! When two intelligent, strong-willed characters get together, there is something addicting about their interactions. The push & pull of their desires vs. their dreams of getting what they want has an edgy quality that builds the tension in a way that keeps you captive! Holden’s character was cut-throat and conniving, leaving you to think he is single minded in focus but, when Rowan upends his plans, his appreciation for her strength and drive was evident. Yes, he thought she was sexy, beautiful, and captivating but, my favorite part was his support for her goals to make something of the company she so desperately wants to succeed.

Without giving much away, Twisted Knight has chapters from the past that shed light on the contentious history of these characters & slowly starts to uncover the truth of Holden’s intentions and the “why” behind it, giving some angst and heartache to the storyline.

But just when you think you have it all figured out, K. Bromberg shakes it up and ends it! I can’t wait to read the next book because I NEED to know what happens!

Twisted Knight by K. Bromberg, is the first book in the Tangled Hearts Series, Rowan Rothschild is the daughter of a renowned family in Westmore society, but that doesn't matter to her, she misses her grandmother and she hopes to little by little do what is necessary to have a more important role in her family's company, TinSpirits, and lead it back to being a prosperous company, since her brother, who has been in charge of the company, has done little, and slowly bleeding out the company, but it's difficult when she is considered only the face of the company and her parents only want to marry her because that is supposed to be the place of women in the society where they live. One night during a charity gala, a man who everyone talks about arrives and shows that he has more money than sense by buying a painting at the auction, thus eclipsing her brother, so she approaches him to try to find out who is the guy and what his intentions are but he is cold, only paying her a little attention when he finds out her last name, but she can't find out anything about him, only a few days later she finds him at a meeting at her company where she finds out that this man is getting the majority of TinSpirits shares thanks to an agreement with her brother. Holden Knight is back in Westmore to finally carry out the revenge he has always wanted, but he didn't count on Rowan stealing his attention, she is strong and passionate about what was her family's company, but even that does not prevent him from taking charge and putting into motion what he has been preparing. But when they begin to work together, will the undeniable attraction that exists between them derail him from his purpose or could Holden just be a master manipulator in which his revenge is stronger than what Rowan makes him feel? We will have to wait for the next book so that this and many other questions are answered.
This story is so so so good, it contains drama, intrigue, angst, the occasional moment of laughter and definitely a lot of passion and sensuality, we will have to wait to see if true love comes. This story will catch you and you won't be able to let go until you reach the end and when you get there you want more!!!! I urgently need the next book! I'm so invested in this story and these characters. Miss Bromberg once again leaves me amazed with the stories she creates. I will be very attentive to what is to come. Totally, Absolutely and Completely Recommended!!!

It took me a bit to get into this book, which makes more sense now that I’ve finished it and know it isn’t a standalone (kind of missed that it was the start of a series when I started it). I did enjoy the story once I got into the book and I’m excited to see what happens with Holden and Rowan. I do wish a little more of the mystery of what Holden’s plans are had been revealed in this first book. The spicy scenes also could have been a tad spicier and more detailed for me…but overall I liked it a lot and will definitely read the sequels

I have to start this review by saying that it ends in a cliffhanger. Ugh I don’t like cliffhangers. Had I know I would have waited until the next book was out. I was drawn in right off the bat. Rowan’s family is very rich and pretty much runs the town they live in. Her family owns a spirits company that has been passed down over the generations. Rowan wants nothing more than to run it. But her place is getting married and hosting charity events. While her brother was given the ceo position. So for right now she will settle for the marketing position she has been given. She meets Holden at one of the charity events. She has no idea who he is, but he is the talk around the social circles. It isn’t until she goes into work and finds out that her brother just sold majority of the business to Holden. Now she needs to hurry and see if there is a way she can stop the sale from going forward. Holden has done his research and knows everything about everyone. While they know nothing about him. Or the real reason he is in town and just purchased tinspirits. I definitely recommend this book. It’s captivating and will keep you turning the pages. Just note their is a cliffhanger and there is no mention of when the next book will be out.

And Holden, the man is straight 🔥 and knows exactly what he needs to do get his revenge on the people who didn’t look at him twice when he was younger. I can’t wait to see what happens next! The cliffhanger was epic and I am here for it.

Another book by this author in the bag. I thoroughly enjoyed Twisted Knight from start to finish. The twists and turns in this novel kept me turning page after page as quickly as I could. It was such an enjoyable read, and I loved Holden and Rowan. Twisted Knight is such a wild ride, and I'm excited for what's coming next after that cliffhanger.

The Shocked look I had on my face when I realized the twist at the end of this book now leaving me wanting more!

Rowan and Holden will keep you glued to their story from start to finish!! Rowen being a killer business women. Always pushing to do more and be seen. Holden coming in strong looking for revenge. You will quickly realize Holden is a strong and powerful man.

Definitely recommend reading their story and see what everyone is talking about it!
