This was a very fun read. Kids will really enjoy this book.

I thought this book was great! I loved the story and the footy facts. Rocky's vulnerability and her big dreams as a child trying to navigate in a world she still don't understand because she's a kid.

I think I might read more of these so I can keep seeing how this story goes.

This book made me so happy. I remember reading short novels like this when I was a kid about young athletes balancing their sports, school, and growing up. Sort of like Degrassi for middle schoolers. I remember Cheer USA with particular fondness. This brought back that same 12 year old girl who loved those books. So happy that still exists for young readers today.
