I love me a good slow burn, forced proximity and he falls first. There were so many emotions that came out of me from reading this book, from pure happiness, to laughing, to crying. I enjoyed the dual timeline from the FMC Tiffany. The two stories in one that ending perfectly. I liked the suspense that was added and kept trying to figure out who the villain was. I love how the author left room and potential for future stories to be made and set in this world.
unfortunately i read Holiday Wedding by this author and was not a huge fan of her writing style. I am not going to pick this book up because i don’t feel like i will like the writing style again! sorry!
I absolutely loved this romance! I was cheering for them the entire time!! Loved it!! Well done!! I am looking for more books from this author like this one!
I enjoyed I'm used to lovers, romcom romance. I found that the characters were hilarious, but they perfectly fit each other. I also enjoyed how the characters wore him both doctors in the medical field, and all going through their own histories. I enjoyed the shocks at the end with this book and the way that she developed the unraveling of the main female character is past
An overall delight of a medical romance novel. He is definitely written by a woman and is the human embodiment of a green flag. I can say wholeheartedly I loved the closure Tiffany had by the end of the book. It was just a sweet read.
I loved these characters and didn’t want the story to end. The emotional backstory for the FMC had me rooting for her from the beginning
This one was amazing definitely didn’t think it was going to be the way it was. I can’t wait to read another book by this author.
This was a refreshing surprise! I wasn't expecting it to be so good, but was pleasantly surprised. Tiffany and Ethan play well off each other and their enemies-to-lovers felt more like a 'push each other to be better' than a toxic situation. It was great!
I was not expecting this type of suspense. The book was very well done. I was quite surprised with how pleased I was with the story.

Single POV, Spicy, Dual Timeline, Slow Burn, Forced Proximity, grumpy x sunshine, medical romance, Dislike to love, He Falls First, Opposites Attract
I think it's so cool Dr, Melissa Dymond publishes her books in two forms one with spice and one without spice. I went with the version with spice and enjoyed the book so much. Tiffany and Ethan get off to a rough start as he points out an error in her lecture but as the two are forced to spend more time together at the hospital on the same shifts tension between them rises. I also enjoyed the realistic descriptions of working in the medical field, the long hours and emotional strain aren't always brought up in romance books but are a reality that I think may people like myself will connect to.
I adored this book! It's nice to read a Grumpy/Sunshine where the FMC is the Grumpy. Such a great twist on a classic trope. I was swooning for this couple and I'm certain you will be too!
This is my first book when it comes to medical romance. I fell in love with it. Its well written and I could feel the connections with the characters.
Not what I expected, better. Tiffany Hart grew up fighting for everything she has, When she becomes involved with something she later regrets she decides to turn her life around, but can she?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to review
I enjoyed this medical suspense story. This was my first read by Dr. Dymond and it will not be my last. I appreciate the opportunity for an early copy of this book.
Very cute rom-com in a medical setting. Slow burn. Enemies to lovers. Golden retriever. I would recommend this book for a light casual read
For any Grey’s Anatomy fans out there, pick up this book! I read the spicy version, and it delivered. I liked how the author flipped between timelines and fleshed out the main character Tiffany’s (traumatic) backstory.
The workplace banter was elite.
I did feel like the pacing was a little jarring at times, which kept me from giving it 5 stars, but I would definitely recommend for any romantic suspense lovers / medical drama fans.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!
This book really had me conflicted.
While I really liked the tone and the mystery, the writing style was just... not for me.
Dr Hart (our main protagonist) wasn't a relatable or pleasant character at all, and I failed to connect with her. The same happens with Ethan, and I think the conflict (or rather animosity) between them was very shallow.
Thank you Netgalley and Melissa Dymond for sending me this book in exchange of an honest review 💛
Unfortunately this was a DNF at 40%
I couldn’t connect with the characters or story and it didn’t keep me engaged
I devoured this book! A medical romance novel, with plenty of spice! Something a little different to your standard romance book.
