Two doctors. A rough start. A little forced proximity. Some drama from the past coming back to do some haunting. Dual timeline.
What I liked:
- two likeable main characters trying their best to overcome their own baggage.
- sweet, easy read with a little spice
- small cast of side characters to move the story along, create drama and provide support
- a little mystery/suspense

3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.

Paging Dr. Hart is a workplace coworkers (with a hint’o’rivals) to lovers romance. It’s told from Tiffany’s POV but the story jumps between Tiffany’s past and present.
This book had me kicking my feet at all the tender moments and spicy banter. And, I will always love that it is a he fell first situation! Ethan is such a green flag.
I’m not sure which scenes I was most excited reading. Scenes with sweet romance, or when more of Tiffany’s darker past is revealed, or where Ethan just stairs at Tiffy with some kind of intense gaze. It was such a great read start to finish! I absolute believe if Tiffany and Ethan were really people they would live long happy lives together.

Fun fact, my significant other is currently in their medical residency so I had them read the book with me and they said “it feels like hearing the inside scoop on my coworkers dating lives.”

I absolutely cannot wait to read more of the interconnected novels in this series as they come out!

Review has been posted on good reads as well as Amazon.

Absolutely loved this book. Enemies-to-lovers story.

Dr. Tiffany Hart, a radiologist, worked very hard to get where she is today. Her mom raised her by herself in Las Vegas and they were poor. She didn't have a normal childhood because her mom got sick with cancer when she was 16 years old and Tiffany did things to help pay the bills. Those things still affect daily with nightmares every night. She was betrayed by someone close to her. Ever since her mom died at 17 years old, she shut herself off from being hurt again. At the hospital, she's known as the "Ice Queen."

When a new doctor, Ethan Clark, transfers into the radiology program from a hospital in Cleveland, OH. He's charming, handsome, and everyone likes him; except Tiffany. When she's assigned to be his teacher she's angry. He's too arrogant, claiming that he knows what he's doing, when he really doesn't. Tiffany is immune to his charm, she's been down that road before and it ended badly.

Ethan comes from a family of doctors, he wanted to get away from Cleveland and come to Columbus to study Radiology because he wanted something that was his. But the minute he laid eyes on Tiffany, he was hooked. Slowly he chipped away at her walls, hoping she'd let down her guard and let him in.

When Ethan and Tiffany are sent to Ethan's old hospital to setup a radiology program, they lived together for a month in an apartment on campus. Tiffany realizes that it's the first time she's felt safe. Even though she wakes him up every night with her nightmares, he never complained. When they go back to Columbus a week later, they both attend a medical conference in a hotel in Disney World where Tiffany is giving a presentation. But when someone from Tiffany's past happens to be at the park the same time she is, she panics. She knows that she will see him again. And she does.

Will Ethan ever look at her the same way when he finds out her past? Will he dump her?

A must read!

“Paging Dr Hart” by Melissa Dymond was a sweet mystery romance. What I liked about this book, was the different writing style of adding a mystery to Tiffany’s background story. I alway enjoy the duel reading of following two story lines. However, Melissa you left us with a cliffhanger…. Will there be a second book?? I wouldn't mind reading more about Tiffany and Ethan. :)
I enjoyed reading and getting to know the characters throughout the story. Melissa’s detailed information and description helped visualize the scene in my mind.

Thank you NetGally, Victory Editing, and Melissa Dymond for an eARC copy of Paging Dr. Hart.

This book was truly a page turner! It had the perfect amount of spice and romance, and the characters were well written and the plot was believable. I genuinely enjoyed the time I spent reading this. I will definitely be reading more from this author! If you love medical shows (especially Grey’s Anatomy) this should be your next read for sure!

Cute story in parts but other parts were a little darker than I expected….. I don’t know if would recommend this book. The book seemed to lack direction.

This was such a good read — absolutely loved the banter between Ethan and Tiffany. Very captivating story being told. Cannot wait until more come out to tell us more of Tiffany’s parents. The ending left me wishing there was another to dive right into.

Thank you NetGalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond for being able to read this book at an earlier date.

Paging Dr. Hart is a very sweet romance that really does feature a lot of suspense, as the description promises! Tiffany Hart is a radiology resident who instantly doesn't like her charming new co-worker, Ethan Clark. Tiffany is a bit of an "ice queen" who keeps others at a distance. The story is told through a dual-timeline of the present day and Tiffany's childhood. The flashbacks have a bit of a darker tone as they deal with some serious issues such as poverty, food insecurity, cancer, crime, etc. Without spoiling too much, it's no wonder why Tiffany has trouble connecting with and trusting others. Thankfully, Ethan is the perfect person to help her with that...

I was extremely invested in Tiffany's backstory. I am mostly a romance reader, but I also love thrillers as well. My heart was racing and I couldn't put the book down when I was reading the flashbacks. Dare I say....I was a little more invested in Tiffany's story than her romance with Ethan! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Tiffany and Ethan's relationship. It feels like the story focuses more on Tiffany's journey which I actually enjoyed very much. The past and the present merge together seamlessly.

Ethan Clark is the perfect man to make Tiffany feel like she can trust again. In the beginning, their relationship is rocky...Tiffany instantly doesn't like him, but their banter is so much fun while she tries to hate him. Ethan is honestly a dream man. He is so sweet and supportive of Tiffany and would do anything for her...perfect book boyfriend material! He always has her best interest at heart and goes out of his way to make her feel cared for...even when she didn't like him. I went through a lot of difficult emotions reading this story, and the parts with Ethan were very comforting. I only wish that we got to see a little bit more of Ethan! ❤️

I appreciate that Melissa Dymond offers two versions of this book: a spicy version and a clean/closed-door version. Personally, I like my books spicy, but I realize that not everyone is interested in that. I read a lot of spicy books, and I would definitely place the spicy version lower on the heat meter. I do love that she put in the extra effort to create two variations. It shows that she cares about her readers and wants everyone to feel comfortable enjoying the story!

I feel so fortunate that I got to read an ARC of Paging Dr. Hart! Thanks so much to NetGalley for hooking me up with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I am looking forward to reading more of Melissa Dymond's books and I am particularly excited about the future books in this series! A Rafe book PLEASE!

"You're going to ruin me aren't you?"
"I certainly hope so."

Thank you to Netgalley for the eARC of this book! It's out now!

This book was so interesting!! The story follows Dr. Tiffany Hart, a radiologist who is known as the ice queen around her hospital. When a new resident, Dr. Ethan Clark enters the picture, she loses her cool due to his arrogance and stupid good looks. However, Tiffany is dealing with the guilt and danger of her past. Tiffany is assigned to train Ethan, and the proximity soon becomes distracting. But then Tiffany's past catches up to them, and they have to fight for each other, and their lives.

"It's like I'm learning to talk all over again now that he's here to listen. I don't want to go back to the silence of my old life."

This book was so so good. The medical aspect was so interesting, the romance was swoon-worthy, and thrillery aspect had me on edge the entire time. I love that multiple versions of the book are offered for those who want a clean, closed door romance as well. This book was truly a mash-up of genres that was so unique and I loved every minute of it!

Firstly, I want to say that although I prefer spicy open door romance, I can really appreciate the author having two versions. A spicy, open door romance, and a clean closed door romance. Not all readers are smut sluts such as myself 🤣

This book definitely checked my boxes. I've been watching medical dramas lately, like The Resident, and this is set with doctors in a hospital, and there is drama and suspense....all the things I've been craving lately. Tiffany is strong but lonely, Ethan is such a golden retriever MMC, and Fred the Cat needs more page time ;)

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a slow burn, drama, and suspense. ☺️ I look forward to the future books from this author!!

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first medical romance (excluding Mafia back alleys doctors 🤣). I liked the characters, their banter and how their relationship developed.

The story was well written, and a good light read between heavier storylines. That being said, I would have loved to have seen more of Rafe!!

The book follows Tiffany as she navigates loss, back against the wall choices, and her drive to do better. Ethan is lovely, and would do anything for her. Just when she thinks she is stuck in a situation, Ethan comes to her rescue.

thank you @netgalley for this copy, here is my honest review!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️
My thoughts: I normally do not enjoy soft burns but Ethan and Tiffany made it so so worth it 😍 I was ready to not like this book but instead I loved it. Ethan falls first and hard but Tiffany has a past, a past that gives her too many reasons to keep her walls up. They call her the ice queen but Ethan picked away until he found her fire fiesty side and loved her anyways. This book did have a dual timeline but it was so easy to understand what was going on. If it’s not your thing, the suspense and the fmc’s backstory makes up for it, I swear. One of my favorite things about this book was the scenes at Disney, it really made me wish I was there. All the food and fun reminded me of when I used to go quite often. I really enjoyed this book and I know you will to if you like forced proximity, sing fmc POV, he falls first, enemies to lovers, slow burn and reverse grump x sunshine.

One things I did find unique and very cool of this author was that, they offer two different versions of this book: 1) spice open door version and 2) clean closed door version with only kissing. I thought this was a great way to connect with more readers with specific preferences. I also love that 10% of sales go to cancer research, go pick up this amazing read and donate to a great cause at the same time. win win 🫶🏼

This book started a bit slow for me, but once learning a bit more about the main character Tiffany I finished the book in days. I do wonder more about Tiffany's past and whether the answers will come in the future. Overall it's a decent room com read.

This was my first medical romance book and I loved every second of it. This had all the Greys anatomy vibes, I physically could not put the book down until it was done! This book honestly is jam packed with spice, and some suspense who could ask for anything more?

Absolutely loved it.
Could hardley put it down, once I started reading.
The relationship between Ethan and Tiffany is a slow burn romance, but there are so many sweet moments between them,
once they start to unterstand one another.

The mysterious backstory kept me intrigued from start to finish and I really enjoyed the unfolding secrets and plot twists. As a medical nerd I also loved the hospital setting. My only negative point is, I would've maybe liked a bit more romance between the characters earlier to add an extra layer of connection. Overall, a delightful read for a sunny afternoon!

Thank you to the author and publisher for the ARC!

Dr. Tiffany Hart has worked hard to get to her vocation as a radiologist. That involved losing people growing up, resulting in not forming relationships, giving her the title Ice Queen at the hospital. She is asked to mentor Dr. Ethan Clark and together they are to establish a month rotation in radiology at the hospital where Ethan started. When Tiffany was a little girl, her mom needed to work, and she was left with Brandi who had a daughter Shelly. Being friends with Shelly resulted in some activities she is not proud of and friends that she wants to avoid. Ethan finds Tiffany very attractive and does his best to win her over. He is very considerate, bringing her favorite coffee, allowing her to choose what they do, and even running to her rescue when she is kidnapped. Both Ethan and Tiffany have ghosts from the past. They just need to trust enough to share them. This is a great book. Full of love with mystery and adventure thrown in.

Paging Dr. Hart
Dr. Melissa Dymond

Paging Dr. Hart follows the heartwarming journey of Dr. Tiffany Hart, who due to a rough start in life has emotional walls made of barbed wire around her heart with no intention of bringing them down and opening herself up to be betrayed again. As in every emotionally unavailable girl who’s struggling with abandonment issues dreams, along comes Dr Ethan Clark, a tall, Golden Retriever of a man who sees through her prickliness and sarcasm. I really enjoyed their banter and push and pull while they were falling for each other, as well as the sneaky Taylor Swift song lyrics scattered in there! What I wasn’t expecting was the flashback chapters to Tiffany’s growing up years. I felt like I got a free book within a book! Although I am team Tiffy and Ethan and am such a fan of their journey together, the flashbacks did introduce a dark bad boy character, Rafe, whom I am still rooting for to get his own romance and happy ending! I really enjoyed the book and will read the following books in this world. 5 stars from me!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced release copy of Paging Dr. Hart. I’d really give this book 3.5 or 3.75 stars. It was a good book and the plot kept me interested the whole time. However, I felt the ending was a bit abrupt and stories were rushed. I also didn’t like that it ended on a cliffhanger (sort of) and had to read the epilogue in a separate website link. If that had been included in the actual novel it would have been 4 stars no doubt. I was happy to see the enemies/colleagues Ethan and Tiffany turn to roommates, friends, and then more than friends! I read this in one sitting too because I couldn’t put it down! Ethan is the definition of a green flag and is the perfect match for Tiffany. A sequel would even be great for these two!
