“I promise,”he says. That smile again, this time unfurling slowly. “I’ll grow on you.”
I loved the writing style of chapters split by timeline, we get glimpses as Tiffany, the FMC’s past catches up to her present.
Ethan, oh my, oh my! He’s the sweetest golden retriever MC who stuck with the grumpy FMC until the very end! I’d love to meet him in person! 😅
Overall, I loved the not so typical medical workplace romance. Highly recommend it! If you liked Grey’s Anatomy TV series, Twisted series by Ana Huang you’ll love Paging Dr.Hart! ❤️
This book has it all, medicine, romance, and mystery!
It’s rare to find a book where the medical aspects are so accurate!
This book was such a fun read, the pace flowed and the story kept me thinking about the book anytime I wasn’t reading it. Tiffany and Ethan have a rough start but slowly over time they become colleagues, friends and maybe more.
The Author did a great job keeping the present connected to the past, and slowly giving us clues into who may be stalking Dr. Hart. It played out perfectly and I was so focused on the flowing romance that I forgot about the danger, and so did Tiffany.
Ethan was so kind and so understanding, no wonder he melted the “Ice Queen” exterior! The romance, the spice, all of it was *chefs kiss*. I think there are many things to love about this book, and I would definitely recommend to a friend!
Thank you to Dr. Melissa Dymond for this incredible book, one of the few 5 ⭐️’s I’ve given this year!
Also big thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op along with NetGalley for my ebook copy of “Paging Dr. Hart”.
I received an advance review copy of this ebook for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Pleasantly surprised!!! Totally thought I was going to read ‘another’ medical romance however, it turned to be suspenseful when trying to figure out the main characters dark past.
Loved how the story visits both Vegas and Florida ( my two favorite vacation destinations)
Will definitely check out the rest of the series!
Thanks for allowing me to read an ARC!

I liked the premise of this story, but it took me a bit to get into. But once I did, I did enjoy it.
I liked that the story was dual timeline instead of just a flashback. I think it kept the book interesting. I liked the plot and the characters, it all felt extremely well though out, but there were times when the dialogue had felt a little immature. Mostly in the beginning when Tiffany didn't like Ethan. I do wish that the suspense had been played on a little bit more. I felt like after Tiffany blocked the number that element kinda...went away until the conference.
I definitely plan on reading more by Melissa and checking out more of this series as it comes out.
Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing for providing me an ARC copy of the book for my honest opinion.
Dr Tiffany Hart is on the path to becoming a doctor, currently in a residency program for radiology and has goals of receiving the resident of the month award. To her peers, she is aloof, studious, and known as the “ice queen”. She is forced to train a new transfer into her program, Ethan Clark a friendly, charming, attractive year 2 internal medicine resident who comes from a family legacy of doctors. What initially starts off as tumultuous relationship, slowly becomes friendly. The book is written in alternating timelines with her present day MD training and her past as a troubled youth living in Las Vegas trying to make ends meet with her single parent mother who becomes sick.
Quick, cute read. I love alternating timelines and the author does a great job with this respect. This book is good for those that love enemies to lovers, forced proximity, coworkers,
doctor tropes with mild spicy/open door romance and HEA with a bit of a cliffhanger.

**potential spoilers below**
I like the backstory on Tiffany but felt towards the end it was a little much, trying to be Oceans 11 plot. Then the section where her Las Vegas past connects with her present day self with Rafe blackmailing and abducting her, it was just not believable. I felt like the main doctor storyline was predictable and unrealistic that Ethan liked Tiffany from the beginning, she was kinda awful to him initially. I overall enjoyed the book but did not feel connected with the characters.
Paging Dr. Hart by Dr. Melissa Dymond - Arc recieved by NetGalley
I am writing this review based soley on my own opinions.
I got about 20% into this book and did not fully complete it because I could not personally relate to the characters.
Tiffany is a Dr who has a mysterious past and is being reminded by a mysterious sender via text messaging.
Ethan is, essentially, the human version of a golden retriever. He is sweet and charming.
While I loved the banter, I kept getting side tracked with the back story and that's not usually a type of books I go for. I was also confused by the way there are two different versions of this book: spicy and closed door. Not sure which one I recieved, but however the text was still well written and cohesive.
The over premise was great, and I believe anyone who is a medical professional, or just enjoys medical romances, would enjoy this book!
The book follows Dr Tiffany Hart a third year radiology resident who is focused on being the best radiologist out there. She’s got her head in the game and only obsessed with work that she has no time for fun, friends or love. At this moment, enters Dr Ethan Clark, a new resident (hot, kinda cocky but also really nice) that she’s gotta train. Now not only does this foils her plans in the form of a competition, but there’s also some unknown number sending her texts about her past that she so desperately wants to get away from. Is it all just animosity or will Tiffany warm up to Ethan? Who’s blackmailing her? Why does she keep having recurring nightmares of her past?
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a slow start but after a few chapters in it grabbed my attention, I think I finished the book in 3 days. It was very intriguing especially because it had a lot of serious topics like death of a parent due to cancer, troubled childhood, trauma and etc.
There were certain parts of Tiffany that I could relate to. I could empathise with her character and the writer has shown her character development very well. It’s nice to see how she tuned over a new leaf and is doing something meaningful as her career. Ethan is also a very sweet guy. He truly is a giant golden retriever. There’s just so much love and compassion that he exudes for Tiffany. I especially enjoyed the cute banter between the two in their initial conversations.
This could have been a heavy book but I’m glad the writer wrote it in such a delicate manner that it didn’t hit me too hard or got me too emotional. This is not just a regular rom-com because there’s an element of thriller in it as well. Overall I would say this is a very enjoyable read. After reading that epilogue, I’ve become very curious to know more of Tiffany and her parents story. I get the feeling it would be very interesting indeed.
Paging Dr. Hart by Melissa Dymond - Spicy Version
4.5 Stars
2.5 Spice
If you're a fan of Lucy Score's "Knockemout" series or the drama of "Grey's Anatomy," you'll find "Paging Dr. Hart" by Melissa Dymond an engaging read.
While I usually don't prefer alternating timelines, Melissa Dymond masterfully handles this narrative technique. The transitions between past and present were so compelling that I found myself deeply invested in both timelines, unable to put the book down.
The protagonist, Tiffany, also known as the “Ice Queen,” faces significant struggles in her upbringing that profoundly shape her present-day persona. Similarly, Ethan’s past gradually unfolds, revealing layers of his character and making him more relatable and complex as the story progresses. By the end, I was fully committed to both characters and their journeys.
The supporting characters are equally captivating, drawing readers further into the story. I eagerly anticipate the next installments in the Dr. Hart series. Melissa, please continue exploring this world!
Dymond's writing is reminiscent of Lucy Score's—witty and accessible—yet she adds a depth that keeps readers enthralled. Her storytelling grips you, making it hard to stop reading until the early hours of the morning.
Overall, I rate this book 4.5 stars. The blend of suspense and romance was truly enjoyable. Thank you, NetGalley, for the opportunity to read and review this book. I am now a dedicated fan of Dr. Hart and Melissa Dymond!
My initial thoughts: I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers trope. The main FMC has a lot more depth to her background than I expected. It’s like a bit of romance and a bit of low key suspense.
What it’s about: Dr. Tiffany Hart is a radiology resident who has carved her way through life depending on no one to build the current stable one she is living now. When her residency suddenly loses a resident, the replacement intern is hot Dr. Ethan Clark who comes from a long legacy of doctors. The two of them start off on the wrong foot, but then Tiffany is ordered to share an office with Ethan and train him. They get sent to another hospital and a medical conference at Disney World where the close proximity is a recipe for friendship and maybe more? That is…until Tiffany’s unusual past catches up with her. She has tried to bury her past so deep, but it’s starting to haunt her again and this time threatens her hard earned life and reputation as well as whatever new relationship is blooming with Ethan. How will they navigate the line between past and present when one is threatening to destabilize the other?

What I thought: I think it’s fairly well written. The FMC has a lot more depth and history in her past, which you learn as you go through the book and plays a large part in the plot. She’s also the grumpy one in this book. The MMC is like vanilla - a little plain, but sweet. His character development is a bit lackluster. The relationship is a slow burn romance where the chemistry is sweet, rather than hot and heavy. 1 main open door scene 🎬 that stuck out to me. (I was honestly more invested in learning about Tiffany’s past throughout and how it collided with her present). Some of my favorite tropes though: enemies to lovers and forced proximity. I surprisingly enjoyed the aspect of suspense mixed with the romance.
Interesting facts: The book is offered in both closed door and open door versions. If you subscribe to the author’s website, you can get free chapters and content from other perspectives. There are 2 more planned books - 1 of which is a prequel featuring Tiffany’s parents which is left as a bit of a cliffhanger.
I must admit, I wasn't expecting to be so thoroughly captivated by this book, but it completely won me over. The author's decision to delve into Tiffany's past was a masterstroke, adding a rich layer of complexity to the story that made her character all the more relatable and endearing.
One of the standout aspects of this book is the refreshing twist on the typical romance trope - the fact that "he falls first" is a welcome change of pace that added a delightful layer of tension and emotional depth to the narrative.
I found myself completely absorbed in the story, neglecting my responsibilities and ignoring the world around me as I devoured page after page, desperate to know what would happen next. The chemistry between Tiffany and Ethan is undeniable, and their romance is expertly woven throughout the story, leaving me feeling all the feels.
I'm thrilled to have gotten this gem of a book, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a captivating book that will keep them up all night, eager to find out what happens next.
Wow, wow, wow! I am OBSESSED. This book has me still thinking about it days later and I’m normally one who forgets all the details and characters of a book as soon as I move on to the next one. (That’s terrible, I know.) But that is NOT the case with this amazing story.
First off, this book is offered in both a spicy and sweet version which I wish more authors would do. I’m sure it is a LOT of work, but I truly appreciate Melissa doing this. It is amazing that everyone can enjoy her books without compromising on their comfort/morals and the fact that she puts in the extra work to make this possible says so much about her as an author and a person.
Now how to write this review without spoiling too much… it’s so hard not to just scream all the details because there is just so much goodness packed into this 300+ page book.
I am absolutely in love with the characters, the relationships, and the storyline. I genuinely did not want it to end. The character building for every👏🏻 single👏🏻 person👏🏻, even the side characters, was incredible. I felt like I personally knew each and every one of them. The backstory included for most of them, especially Tiffany, was *chefs kiss* perfectly done. I loved the dual timeline for her and getting to see her past and how and why she came to be the person that she is. Just like Melissa’s debut novel, this one is also such a unique take on a romance novel. There’s so much more wrapped up in this story. It’s a bit thriller, mystery, suspense, and drama as well with Tiffany’s traumatic past following her into the now and making this a genuinely thrilling adventure. It was just so dang good.
I truly enjoyed watching the relationship between Ethan and Tiffany grow. They compliment and complete each other so perfectly. The laughs, tears, and swoon moments are, I’ll say it again, perfect. Their Disney World trip had me reminiscing on my own childhood trips and feeling like I was right there with them.
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. Melissa’s storytelling abilities are insane in the best ways and you are truly missing out if you don’t give this one a chance. I’m so thankful to her and NetGalley to have been a part of this ARC team!
This was a really good read! I enjoyed following the dual timelines that highlights Tiffany's life. It had suspense and romance, which made it a more interesting read. Ethan was such a sweetheart and definitely fell in love with Tiff, hard. I am so glad that the author is turning this into a sequel as I want to read more about Tiffany, and find out what happens next between her and Ethan. I would highly recommend this to anybody who enjoys romance. The mystery in the story definitely makes it such a quick read. I wanted more long after I finished the book and quite frankly, I still think about this book!
Great read, the story of Tiffany and Ethan. She dislikes him when she meets him, but for him it is the opposite. When they are forced to spend time together will this be their chance, or will everything go wrong when Tiffany's past catches up with her?
Paging Dr Hart by Melissa Dymond
Thank you netgalley and Melissa Dymond for this ARC.
I liked how this book started out but then we find out that it was insta love for the MMC and it just sorta dulls the whole story. Furthermore, the latter half of the book is extremely rushed.
Almost 80% of this book is about Tiffany's backstory. There's also a lot of taylor swift references, which I liked.
This book was advertised as a medical romance and it's disappointing to read through the whole book to know that it isn't. If you're looking for actual medicine involved, you're out of luck.
Loved the beginning of the book but wished it was not rushed. over all, a fun read
What a roller coaster this read was 👀. Just when you thought ok, I think I know what will happen, nope, not what you expected! 👀
I loved the combination of romance with mystery with sprinkles of humor. The flashbacks was perfect and it made the book flow so well. I was so invested in Tiffany’s past and it was so heartbreaking to read it. It also helped understand her present and her hesitation with Ethan. But I totally connected with Tiffany when she said “I have lots of boyfriends. Book boyfriends that is.” Hahahah girl, me too, me too! 😅
And can we talk about Ethan… he was such a pleasure to read. Funny, confident and cocky. I loved the chemistry he and Tiffy aka Tiffany had. “You’re no ice queen. You’re put fire.” 🥹
@melissadymondauthor this truly was such a fun book to read yet so touching. I loved how there’s two version of this book- closed and open door. I read the spicy version because you all know I love my spicy 🌶️. It was just enough to add to the story without taking away from the plot. So well done! 👏🏽And 10% of proceeds is donated to lung cancer research… you can read for a really good cause! 🥹

Thank you @melissadymondauthor,
@netgalley (sweet) @thenerdfam (spicy) for a copy of this e-arc exhange of my honest review.
Tiffany Hart, a prestigious doctor, was tasked to complete out a radiology report and had Ethan Clark under her that day for training. Bickering at work made them seem like enemies but along the way has progressed to becoming lovers after their boss, Dr Washburn made them train for a month at Ethan’s hometown, Cleveland. There they had no choice but to stay in one apartment— knowing each one’s routines and bits of personalities. Only did Tiffany omit her past life in Las Vegas and chose to keep it for herself, frightened with her growing relationship with Ethan.
Here’s me saying I fell in love with THE Ethan Clark— the greenest flag I could wish for. I giggled so much with the cute and funny banters in between. There’s just a lack of thrill with the suspense part from Tiffany’s childhood-teenage life. I neither liked Rafe and Shelly but their characters could have brought fire if their roles were strong enough to intimidate readers.
Overall, I could say I loved the book especially with the genuine exchange of lines between Tiffany and Ethan— savage or not. Lol. I look forward to reading the interconnected novels of this book and I hope I can see more from them because the cliffhanger made my heartache ‘cause I want to know more!
Thank you Dr Melissa Dymond, Victory Editing, and NetGalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest and fair review.
Paging Dr. Hart is a suspense romance told over 2 timelines - the FMC, Tiffany’s, childhood & teenage years & present day.
Definitely wasn’t what I was expecting & the story moved fast (in a good way!). I’m not a fan of “Disney adults” so I found myself much more invested in Tiffany’s backstory than in the present day. Overall, fun, quick read! Definitely recommend & I’m dying to know who “he” (iykyk) is!
Thanks to NetGalley, the publishers, and the author for the free electronic copy!
Review posted to Goodreads on 6/20/2024 & on Amazon.
This book was really good. I loved the past and present pov’s making the story continually moving along and never slow. Although at times I felt the suspense aspect was a tad odd especially when the book wasn’t marketed as a mystery, i still enjoyed it. I love how Ethan was introduced as well. He was introduced within the first few pages and I was afraid that the book was going to be insta-love, which no one loves. but the book managed to drag out the romance throughout the entire story.
Overall, I give this a 4/5 stars and hope to read another book from Dr. Melissa Diamond soon.
Thank you to Netgalley for sending an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was adorable and sweet in all the best ways. Tiffany is a doctor in her radiology residency, and is tasked with training the new guy, Ethan. He's been in an internal medicine residency but has been trying really hard to get into radiology, so when an opening presented itself, he jumped.
When she and Ethan keep getting thrown together, it feels like fate. But Tiffany isn't sure if she can trust it, or trust him. How could she, when everyone in her life that she's cared about has left her in some way.
As she and Ethan dissolve each other's barriers, her past keeps coming back to haunt her, both in her dreams, and in person. Forced to leave a conference she's at with Ethan, she is thrown back into her past head on. Not only is she worried about what Ethan will think, but shes worried about whether or not she will even make it back to him.
I went into this book pretty blind and I loved everything about it. This was the first book I’ve read from this author and I’ll be reading her other book Holiday Star because I loved Melissa’s writing. This story has a dual timeline of Tiffany’s (FMC) childhood and her present life. It was very interesting going through her past and seeing the different things being revealed. Paging Dr. Hart releases June 17th and recommend to everyone! Thank you Netgalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond for this wonderful ARC!
