I liked this book on aging with faith, because I too have questioned, “Do I Still Matter?” In short, brief reads, set in the pattern of scripture verse, answer, prayer and a soul care tip; she provides quick advice to many of our thoughts on aging in faith and purpose in our later years.

Do I Still Matter is another wonderful Our Daily Bread devotional for women It starts with a verse about the theme of the day, a short devotional including more verses, a prayer and ends with a "take away" to summarize the concept.
When I requested the book, it stated it was for those no longer middle aged, but also not elderly and I would say that was correct. The topics included grandparenting, retirement, and relationships with adult children and more. I am younger than the age it's geared at, but I still found it very impactful to my life. I think others will also who are middle age and beyond.
I received this book complimentary thanks to Net Galley, but all opinions are my own.

Do I Still Matter? The Secrets of Aging with Faith and Purpose by Kimberly Taylor Henry is a book that is so timely for many of us today. I am like many who are at retirement age but haven’t reached the “elderly age” yet. Still, I do not always have the strength or the stamina to do what I could do when I was thirty, yet I can do some things. This was such an encouraging book for me.

Each devotional filled is filled with Bible, quotes, secrets to put in my heart and mind and even anecdotes from others. Wonderful from beginning to end. This is one book I will be gifting my friends who must also be wondering, “Do we still matter,” because thank you, Lord, we do.

This book is such an encouraging and important book for all women to read as we age! It balances the perfect amount of Scripture, anecdotes, quotes and inspiration that makes it easy and joyful to read. I will use this book professionally and also give as a gift to other women in my life who, like most of us, are struggling with questions about our bodies, minds and spirits as we age. This is a book I will revisit often in the years to come.
