This book was too basic for my children who spend a lot of time out with wildlife but for someone who needs an introduction this could be a great tool.

Thanks, Netgalley for the ARC! This book is perfect for homeschooling or teaching your little ones about animals. My little one and I enjoyed using it on our nature walk at a wildlife reserve. We also enjoyed the little activities like "Design a wild space" this was perfect as we are planning out our future yard and how to have it ready for all types of creatures. My personal favorite was all the birds it covered as I have several birds visiting my feeders.

The Children's Book of Wildlife Watching is full of informational facts about wildlife and their habitats. The various sections contain facts and helpful tips to make an area more habitable to creatures. With sections covering the creatures' habits, shelters, food sources, etc., children are bound to learn something new in this book. I especially love the sections that contain activities for children with steps and required materials and the glossary/index at the end!

Perfect for any children interested in wildlife or science.
